I had the misfortune of dealing with…
I had the misfortune of dealing with Parasol as a contractor. It was so traumatic I ended up on Sertraline. I cannot emphasis enough, just how shambolic and hateful this company is. They happily watched me decline into a deep depression by stifling me financially, never paying me on time then having the audacity to make ME feel like I was in the wrong. I DETEST this company with ever fibre in my body and the what they did to me.

Easy to join
Easy to join. Very active support staff to help. They are well equipped with information and answer the questions.

An umbrella that covers everything
We have been working with Parasol for many years now and I like the fact we have a dedicated account manager. They are in regular contact to make sure that everything is running smoothly. The Parasol team are always friendly and on hand to help with anything we need. I believe that Parasol may have the largest number of pay runs a day, which means the our freelancers are pretty much guaranteed to get paid the same day, even if they get their invoice over late. Parasol covers all the needs of our contractors. Parasol is my preferred umbrella company and I am always happy to give their details to any contractor asking for advice.

Professional and Contractor-Focused
I recently used Parasol for one of my contractual assignments and couldn’t have been more pleased with their service. They provided prompt payments, transparent margins, pension enrolment, and kept me informed throughout my contract renewal. Their responses to queries were consistently quick and helpful throughout the 9–10 months I worked with them.
They also handled the reference-check process professionally and demonstrated genuine consideration for their contractors’ best interests. I would definitely recommend Parasol to other contractors.
