Eurodivers.nu på Zakynthos
Var i september på zakynthos, hvor vi tog med Eurodivers ud at dykke. Var afsted med min far som har et certifikat, men jeg har aldrig dykket før, men vores guide var så tålmodig og god. Jeg havde svært ved at komme gennem øvelserne, da jeg gik i panik, men han havde god tid og var god til at lære. Jeg kom derfor igennem og da han kunne mærke jeg var usikker i det, lovede han at blive ved min side gennem hele dykket. Han var der hele tiden og gjorde turen til verdens bedste oplevelse! Så stor tak til Jens på Zante! Han gjorde oplevelsen til verdens bedste! Så stor anbefaling herfra at tage med eurodivers! Det er smukke steder, guides der har god tålmodighed, er fulde af sjov og ved hvad de laver!!

I bought a course which I couldn’t…
I bought a course which I couldn’t access. PADI were initially responsive and asked for my registration details. Haven’t heard back since, have sent multiple messages, posted on their social media posts but no reply. I said if they can’t rectify the issue then to refund and it’s been radio silence ever since. Scam organisation imo. I won’t be training with them in future.

The courses are pure perfection
I just finished the PADI Open Water Diver eLearning and have to say, that this was one of the best (if not the best) online course I’ve ever taken. Nicely structured it‘s guiding you through all you need to know to become a certified diver. It even gives you a great perspective on how you can evolve in your personal diving journey.

Factory camp with e-learning grind
The good: the restaurant has a lot of choice, well cooked.
The resort is nice, with cool cats
The cleaning staff is great.
The water glass bottles in the bedroom.
Located in the lively part of the island, next to a 7/11 with cool kids around.
The staff on the boat is helpful, the scuba trainers from France and Holland are nice.
The Thai scuba, trainer tried his best to show us the nice spots and fish. His drawings and board explanations were very clear and neat.
The bad:
It's a factory camp
I could hear live and dj music in my bedroom.
They gave me a bedroom next to the main road, very noisy on first night.
Then, the receptionist gave me a quieter room afterwards.
For an extra night, they said it would be 400 baht of extra, it turned out to be a 2000 baht extra, I refused.
They gave me a single bedroom for 1000 baht with no fridge, the curtains were too thin and light.
The theory of the padi program is long, and given last minute, It could be given a week before the arrival day, like it happened to me with ssi in Australia.
Scuba dive e-training turned to a grind. I had to skip and rush the theory due to bad time frame.
The boat took us to the same locations.
I had a skin issue after the swimming pool exercise due to either pool water or swimsuit.
The scuba masks were too small, it hurt and I had water coming in.
The regulator let water coming in my mouth during the dive.
There was no soap in the 2 boat's toilet.
Our teacher looked frowned under water and could have recap the steps during some skills exercises in the sea.

A great method to learn about diving, but flawed
The course is well written, easy to follow, structured and the videos help a lot. The numerous diagrams and examples are great and also help to undertand.
However, a relative of mine encountered a problem at the end of the PADI Open Diver final test : he finished it, with a score of 94%, and accepted the terms and conditions (to sum it up, he did everything to validate the exam), and then the exam never was validated and even considered "false" and he had to retake it. In conclusion, it is really easy for your internet conection to falter so making it so the exam is 0% is just wrong, and unfair. Even more when you only have 2 chances before having to pay again to retake it. You should change that. Yes, it could be "to cheat" but most of the time it is unfair.
