I ordered a couple of panels for a Fiamma awning. I chose outdoorbits because they showed the items as being in stock on their website.

Over a week later, I'd heard nothing beyond the initial order acknowledgement, so I contacted them to enquire about the order. At first I was told the items had been dispatched days ago. When I pressed the issue, I was then told that the items weren't in stock and I had been sent an email which, "I obviously haven't received". The items would be available in another week and would be sent to me.

So, the website had the wrong info; nobody could be bothered to contact me to tell me that the order wasn't actually coming. I can only assume they were hoping I'd just keep waiting whilst they kept my hundreds of pounds. "In stock" quite obviously doesn't mean that. I assume they are relying on the Fiamma importer for their stock holding.

I got a refund and placed my order elsewhere. I won't be going back to outdoor bits in a hurry!

This is a company best avoided, I have ordered two blinds for a boat that I was to take on holiday to enable overnight stays on her. When the goods failed to arrive in reasonable time I attempted to contact the via the website. The company rather than offering a solution just emailed it had left the warehouse and closed the enquiry. I then attempted to contact by phone and after waiting over 30 min was cut off, this occurred on 2 separate occasion. i made a further attempt by email with no response. Customer service certainly is not their thing. If looking for goods and service you would possibly be better off going else where

I ordered a wheel clamp for my boat from outdoor bits because they supposedly had them in stock and could deliver in a few days - per the website. They took my money and I received an email confirming.
after 10 days I started trying to contact them. Three times I held on their phone system for 30 minutes without getting through. I tried emailing them and received an automated reply saying they had "opened a ticket" which they then ignored. On the fourth attempt I got them on the phone and they said they would ring back...but they didnt. On the fifth attempt I finally learned that they had lost the order. They said that they would now dispatch immediately. A further week went by and I called them again, getting through on the second attempt after another long hold to be finally given tracking information. It transpired that they actually dispatched the order the day before, nearly a month after the original order. When I suggested that this was perhaps not good service they explained that they were "very busy" I struggle to understand why that would be. I would certainly never use them again.

Ordered online on Saturday morning (Only supplier I could find who stocked the product and could answer my queries on a Saturday)
Received the product Monday morning
Well done, will shop again

Bought an Alden netmaster on Thursday and it arrived on Friday, can't ask for better service !!
