As a loyal customer for 15 years+ i am absolutely fuming over how bad the brand has became. When i order from the website after a few days items are refunded , Why keep clothes on the website for people to buy even tho it's not in stock ? I've ordered 5 items for a holiday and only 1 came and the other 4 were refunded .
I'm sorry but that's not good enough at all , I've spent over €10,000 on the brand and I'm considering going elsewhere because Original penguin is falling apart
Terrible shipping
I really wanted the shirt I ordered for my son on 3/24/2026 but it seems it's stuck in transit and has not moved in 5 days but Penguin's customer service tells me to refer to my tracking details which I've done for the past 4 days. I've basically accepted the fact that this shirt is lost in transit but I will not accept not receiving a full refund. My bank has refunded my money because Penguin refused to do so. I hate the fact that I couldn't speak to a live person and could only email back and forth. I won't be shopping with Penguin ever again.

The provided tracking number consistently indicates that a shipping label has been created across multiple tracking platforms, with no further updates on the package's transit.

I’ve been a regular customer of Penguin for a while, and purchased quite a few polo tops. As another reviewer noted, the polo tops develop holes at the corners of the sewn-in label. This has happened on 5 tops to-date, so no coincidence nor bad luck.
I called the customer care telephone line and was told they only deal with on-line purchases, and there is no number for in-store purchases.
I then tried emailing, with photos, providing evidence of the issue.
They did at least respond, but with the same response! And this is Customer Care? Really?
You only have to read the other reviews here to see how much they (don’t) care.
Will not be buying anything more from this company. They clearly have a manufacturing issue with their clothes, but prefer to ignore it, and turn their backs on their customers.

Don't purchase from their website unless you enjoy the dispute process with your bank. They simply sell you stuff, don't deliver it, and lie about the process.

I see lots of unhappy reviews about online ordering and refund process. I've been very pleased with my purchased items. Quality is high and price is decent. I'd recommend. Surprised to see that the brand is not acknowledging and replying to reviews however.
Shipping terrible and customer service terrible
I will not able to the order because of deadline that I will be out of town. During the order placement I left a note for Original Penguin to deliver ASAP but Original Penguin did not respect my request. I am disappointed that your business Original Penguin picked the cheapest delivery option for FedEx SmartPost Economy. The shipping option created packed by Original Penguin action shows means you do not value my time and Original Penguin does not value me as a customer. FedEx supposed to deliver it to me today but it diverted to another town Davenport FL and stuck more days in Florida due to cheapest delivery economy option that Original Penguin made. I called FedEx and they said delay the delivery cheapest option by Original Penguin so I request to re-route the package back to Original Penguin warehouse in Miami FL because I will be out of town for vacation over a month.Impossible to contact customer service by phone that operated by Perris Ellis corporation in Florida and customer service real live person is not available online and never resolved it anyway. Original Penguin customer service sucks! There is only robotic customer service operating. I disrespect Original Penguin how they treat customers.

I never have the same experience twice with them, its like they don't care. I love their clothes but sometimes can be hard to chat to them. When you order you get a DHL fake shipping number. I then have to follow them for a real tracking number. When I get it then its is not in transit its a pre-advised way bill from DPD so its not been shipped really. I really can't understand why they don't get it together and tell me the proper information at the time.

If they were great I'd be covered in their clothing. Unfortunately they are a scam. Literally sent me a fruit of the loom shirt with a cartoon giant penquin on the front. Nothing to do with a classic penquin polo shirt.

I returned goods 0n 23/10, which were received in Felixstowe on 25/10 which at the time of writing have still not been credited. I have been a customer for some considerable time and feel let down at having to chase this matter. Will need to consider alternatives for thew future
Was a Penguin lifer, now steering clear.
Was a lifer, bought loads of Pengiun. Recently the courier failed two deliveries, mine and my partners same day. Stated he had left a card but didn't even show up. The item was sent to a collection point. I told Penguin that I am disabled. They told me " if you don't collect it. It will be returned to us" I complained, they ignored my complaint. I have started legal process, I've Informed them. It's been a month and still no refund, still no formal response from head office. Steer clear, this company sees you as a number and has no loyalty or respect for their customers. They do not deserve your money.

Wish I could give zero stars
Wish I could give zero stars. Initial order was delayed with half of it cancelled. I received an apology and a $25 gift card. I went to use a discount code and gift card on another order. They ended up cancelled all but 1 item on that order and then didn’t refund me properly stating that the $25 apology gift card was a discount code and spread it across items they couldn’t fulfill. I went to chat with customer service as it’s the only option other than email. I was told the same thing twice and continued to try and explain my perspective and they didn’t acknowledge any of it and then disconnected the chat. Poor way of retaining customers.
Borderline fraudulent....
What major brand doesn't have a customer service # to call??? Really Perry Ellis/Penguin? Purchased items during a "40% off sale items" sale and tried to use the code at checkout, which did not work. Used the live chat and was told they would credit me the 40% when the items shipped. The items arrived, not 2-10 days like the website claims, but TWENTY THREE days later AND I was billed for the full amount. Sent a message through the site showing pictures of my laptop with proof of the chat and discounts offered and an automated response told me I needed to go to the live chat to resolve this. Now when I go to the site and click on the link to the live chat, I am directed to a series of FAQ pages with no way to "chat". In addition, the customer service # they post to their PayPal receipts isn't even for this company???? I will NEVER order from them again. EVER.
Poor quality
Looks great to start with but soon pills badly, even with light use.
When I complained in the 7th month after purchase when it was getting really scruffy I was told nothing could be done.

Customer Service/Support Abysmal - doesn't exist
I'd give them zero stars if it was possible. Ordered merchandise (golf polos) for a team event (32 items). Order financially committed (credit card). 3 of 32 items delivered 3 days after, with status on website of order fulfilled.
This is where the nightmare began. Vendor Customer Service/Support only has general email (5 emails, none ever responded to) and online business hours chatbots with representatives activated that try to help. 5 separate occasions had interactions with reps who gave me inconsistent information on order, and they were following up - not that there was a warehouse issue, or a fulfillment issue, or an operational system issue. There is no ticketing system or representatives specific to your inquiries so there's no accountability as there isn't a connection to the end customer other than the original order (and in my case, if the order is marked as fulfilled that's separate from support triage and escalation and resolution).
After 4 weeks, and the last "chat" a package arrived. The order was incomplete, only partially fulfilled. I got back to the website online support chat to learn that merchandise was out of stock and they were going to now issue a refund. Problem is it's not a small order, it's for a team, so if incomplete, it's of no use, so have to return - at my expense $50-$75.
Unfortunately I waited four weeks and no one notified me that my order was incomplete and merchandise was not available or there would be significant delay in fulfillment, so was left to try to inquire and never did get an honest answer, just "we're investigating with the appropriate department". Tough to be compassionate nevermind patient or understanding when its a wall of nothingness. I was hopeful for some great product and have my friends be super positive and appreciate of the choice. Now I'm left to scramble and perhaps left holding the bag without having any merchandise for the event. Crushing.
