No one I've spoken to has had a good experience with octopus group. They're full of lies and i keep getting screened out and NOT being paid for a single thing. I've been waiting 1 month and I've only received 2 polls (which I was screened out of).
Also look at their replies to bad reviews theyre condescending and nasty. They MUST write all of their own good reviews because the good reviews are all full of lies. Street bees is a far better alternative. Just send pics of what you're eating and sometimes a receipt and they pay you through pay pal. I dont know if its pc friendly but I have it on my phone!
Overall great experience, helpful support staff, high paying surveys. I would like slightly more survey opportunities, but there are still enough surveys to do to quickly add up to the cashout threshold.
Generally a good survey provider that actually pays and yes it takes upto a week for the funds to show up in your account.
One issue I feel can be fixed is if you get a notification on your phone for a survey and proceed to open it, in the app it does not state if you need to be on a Laptop/Desktop then when you do start the survey it then states you need to be on a Laptop/desktop. When you try to do the survey on your Laptop/Desktop your will always be screened out. This has happened a couple of times and the most recent was a Bites of Happiness survey which claimed I was sharing my device with someone else.
Otherwise this is a really good survey platform.

Stay Away From These Guys.
Inferior survey site advertising itself as the best-paying Surveys available to Australians. Having tried multiple websites similar to theirs, I can tell you to ignore their poor attempt at marketing because it is simply not a true statement.
They also refused to pay me as I had changed my mobile number and according to their customer service, it is suspicious to do so. I was then asked to send a bank certificate and photo ID, and when I refused to do so, my account was frozen, and the $20 I had earned was gone.
The customer support team was rude and full of attitude about the whole situation, and I'm now doing some further investigating to see what they do with the data they collect as it's a super shady site.
Edit: Lol, caught doing what? I'm with you on fraudulence shouldn't be rewarded. It's what inspired me to write this review. Pretty sure they write most of the positive reviews here; I strongly advise not to use them

Octopus is very very good. I never leave reviews but this company i felt as if i had to leave one because they are exceptional. I've tried multiple other survey sites and none compare to this one. Yes, you need at least $20 to be able to cash out, but you can earn this fairly quickly by putting in some extra time at the end of your day to complete one or two surveys. They even pay you 5c if you're screened out (which is annoying but that's still more than other providers) and you can earn up to $16 an hour i think it is by simply just doing surveys. overall it's great for a side hustle and i highly highly recommend octopus group to anyone looking to make some extra cash.
Excellent support provided to remind me that I have left email survey notifications turned on. Quick resolution for fixing my account information. Thanks for the note-to-myself reminder. Have not tried to cash out any survey payment. Surveys could definitely be worth more than what they currently pay for the amount of time spent.
You cannot redeem any rewards unless you send them a photo of your personal ID. This was not mentioned when signing up.
Their customer service also sent emails with incorrect grammar, further leading me to believe that this survey site is a scam.
I would never recommend this website.
The day I went to redeem my $70+ you sent me an email of accusing my account of being fake. Where does this money go, when you decide that a new member is no longer verified?
As for the incorrect grammar, this was in a direct quote from the terms and conditions provided in the email in quotation marks. When the terms and conditions don’t make grammatical sense, then there is a valid cause for concern. Asking for personal ID before redeeming money after hours of doing surveys AND making money for you, appears to be a fraudulent process.

Octopus Group is so good. I started Octopus group after being recommended by a friend and in the 1 month and 3 weeks of casually doing surveys I have redeemed $135. People giving bad reviews don’t know how these survey providers work, you do get screened out from some surveys but waaayyy less then other providers. It is completely safe to transfer money out straight to bank account even if it does take a couple days.
The dashboard is easy to understand and most surveys aren’t completely boring. I have had experience with 5-6 other providers and OG is by far the best. Anyone reading this review tossed up on whether or not to start doing it 100% yes. I have 4 friends I got to start doing it and we have made $250+ Combined with little work.
Octopus group is the best survey website in Australia. The survey pays really well compare to the other survey site. I never have any issues with the survey or the payment. When I have an issue, I usually email the support email then the issue is fixed. I highly recommended this survey site.
Octopus Group is a legitimate survey provider, and they do have the highest payments for surveys. Two to five times higher than if you take the same surveys elsewhere. Yes, you will get screen out of surveys anywhere you take surveys. Since I've used them back in July their highest paying survey was $40 for an hour. They have been quite the past month or so though with survey invites.
Their technology is crap & they just keep blaming it on you. This is what it says & stays there for ever

I recently wrote a negative review on not being paid. A standard answer was received with no helpful information at all. I have followed all the steps advised with no positive result. I was told to contact the support center…that does not exist… could you please help me redeem the money you promised me

It’s been over a week still haven’t received a payment for a few surveys I have done is this a scam or what? Seems like a waste of time to me.

Not happy. Most surveys you are screened out from and recently 3 surveys have asked for half the survey questions before screening you out, so essentially they are getting information and time from you without paying you for your time! Very cheeky and very frustrating for the people who put in time to get paid. You should not be asking for survey questions if you don’t plan to pay your customers!

A few days ago I came across octopus group surveys. A little sceptical of what I read I signed up. Since 2012, I have been a member of numerous survey companies including myopinions, pureprofile, myview and a few others. While the majority of the above mentioned, pay ok, most of them pay about $1.50/15 min. Furthermore some take a long time to pay out. I can honestly say I've been impressed by the larger incentives involved. The amusing side of trustpilot reviews, especially some on here, seem to complain a lot about been screened out halfway through. In my several years of experience with surveys, if you rush, give conflicting answers, etc you will be screened out. I know from personal experience. Sometimes I get very mouse happy clicking away before too long, I don't realise I've rushed, and I get screened out. Personally about 3% of surveys are problematic. When you take the time and actually read the survey, you get the end result. So far since joining octopus, I've had all of 5 surveys. Of those 5 surveys, I was screened out of 2. It all comes down to the target group. Simples! 😉. I just wish people would stop badmouthing a company simply because they get screened out of a survey. So far I am pleasantly impressed with this survey company, and I'm sure in time, Octopus groups surveys will be the go to for making some quick pocket money. Just give them a chance before belittling a new company. (& No I do not work for octopus group, I am a level 8 Google guide who takes pride in his reviews on the internet). Should any issues arise in future I will be sure to note it here. But so far so good keep up the excellent work octopus group!

I find it really good except a couple of issues.
1. Always get screened out
2. Can't work out why I don't get notification on my phone screen like I used to. Have to go into app to see if I have a survey..
I won $448 survey, fair and square! They make the mistakes but not rectify it quick enough and I got that $448 in all honesty!!! And they not giving me what I got in all honesty! That just lack common sense!!

There alright in general however they take to long to pay out on some surveys I took a survey for like $24.60 or something thinking ok it'll pay with in a week as they were still collecting peoples response and then the advertisers had to verify that u completed it that was on the 1st of December that I completed it its now 20 days later and no credit has been given be surprised if I ever see a cent of the promised incentive to be honest its been that long however in saying that they have paid me multiple times and I'm expecting another payment today however they should really advise people of time frame so that people know how long to expect on last email they couldn't even tell me when it'll be completed because it was still live on site collecting additional responses that's my only complaint is if they need the survey company to verify it expect it to take ages im still waiting
