I'm pleased enough with the quality and price, but exchanging a $45 item cost me @ the same in shipping and handling. Given most companies offer free returns/exchanges, I won't be shopping here in the future.

Company enrolled me in their rewards program without my knowing it- and have been stealing 28.00 a month till my bank called me about it. I will never ever use them again.

I agree with previous reviews that Northstyle shipping and returns are a complete rip-off. I ordered 2 shirts. With taxes, my order was $106. With shipping and administrative fees, I paid $123. I only kept one of the shirts and shipped the other one back. The return charge for restocking was $11. It has been several weeks since I initiated the return and I still haven't received my refund. The fine print says returns can take at least 6 weeks! Even when/if I receive my refund, my $65 shirt cost me $93! This is my first and last order.

Shipping fees--and outrageous ones at that--are how this company makes money. What a rip-off!

I received an email from North style stating that blouses and tops were 20% off for a limited time. When I tried to place the order, it never gave me the discount. I called customer service EIGHT TIMES, and was hung up on seven. The only person I talk to said after I placed the order she could take off the 20%, then we were disconnected, and it didn't seem the order went through, as I received no confirmation email. I called another five times and was continually hung up on. I placed the order, tried to call again and was hung up on another five times!! Then, an hour later, I received an email stating that the first order DID go through, so now I have two orders for the same thing, and no discount! The order confirmations give no information on price, tax, shipping, or discount of any kind- and no way to check it unless you call, and in that case the system or the people just hang up on you. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. I've put through an email request for customer service to cancel both orders, but I have lost all hope on any resolution to my satisfaction- plus I've wasted an hour and a half on this company.

I wish I had read reviews first. I reached out to their customer service twice via email (no other option) and never got a response. I placed a large order of two sizes of each item. They split the shipment and charged me twice. There was room in the first box for the 2 t-shirts they set separately. Win/lose due to my unknown size, everything single piece was too big but the shoes. I returned all of it. So disappointed to be charged for again twice to return the items. That was nearly $60 for all the combined shipping charges. This was double the amount listed on the website. I was willing to pay the approx $20 to receive it, and $10 to return. Never again.

Purchased a quilted denim jacket..way overpriced,poor quality..pills horribly every time I wear it. Made at least 6 attempts to get a return label,then finally gave up. I will definitely NEVER order from them again!

Stay away from this company, they are terrible to do business with! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, products come in damaged, you pay to return which takes weeks for a credit. Absolutely non responsive to customer needs, way way overpriced for poor quality. BUYER BEWARE!

Very poor customer service. No help resolving invalid tracking number. NEVER use this company. 4 times through phone loop - kept asking same exact questions over and over - no resolution.

I purchased 1 item from this store, after that I was automatically signed up for their rewards...? I was charged $21.15 twice in 30 days. Spent over 36 min disputing with credit card company. Definitely not buying from this company again

I have been waiting since early December for an exchange or a refund. All communications has been ignored.

Cheaply made cardigan sweaters. Ordered 2 for Xmas, both went back. Very loosely woven, way over priced for quality. Plus have to pay for shipping both ways. Northstyle has a beautiful catalog, crappy product. Never again!!

Two problems. First, quality of products is poor. Fabrics used are thin; sewing came apart around neckline of 2 items. Second, through rewards program was supposed to get $76 return from November order. As of today, have never received the check. Have called a couple of times and finally given a phone number for the program which has message to text message and won't accept texts! Big scam!! Promised money back and didn't receive it. Wish I had read reviews in advance. Never use them again and will spread the word to friends who have made purchases in past. Bad business!!!

I ordered a Jacket on Decmber 5, received an order confirmation and tracking number on Dec. 7th. Today is Dec, 22 and no word on the jacket and no jacket. The cost of shipping was almost $18.00. I called today with the order number and the tracking number. The lady at customer service was hard to understand but she said they were waiting for verification ( ? )What a great explanation. I order the jacket again but this time asked for an explanation from customer service. I'm still waiting for their reply.

I just had a terrible experience with their shipping policy, according to customer services , company charges shipping fees in accordance with the price of each item ordered. I bought $191.16 returned all of the items, and was deducted $32.67 in shipping charges from what I initially paid, have never experienced such an abuse from a retail clothing store! I will never buy from North Style again, very dissatisfied.

I had previously purchased a sweater, size M. Recently I purchased a sweater size M and it is too large. The shipping price is $15.59 so I would end up paying over $30 in total postage to return and $45 to exchange. Not a good business model. Would like to be removed from mailing list.

If NorthStyle was the last clothing store left on earth, I will still NOT do business with them.
Their customer satisfaction, return policy includes you paying shipping to you, you pay shipping to them upon return and a stocking free.

By returning an item I payed $202, I got a refund of $169. Do this this ripoff of a catalog store is where you want to shop.

Disgusting policy regarding the return policy and refund. Maybe NorthStyle has never heard of Amazon.

Trying to return a garment - 5 emails and still the same answer - why do you want to return, pls send a photo. I have done this twice. Still no return address. Scam. Do not buy anything from this site.

Customers, Thank you for your reviews to help other customers. I noticed that none of the pajama photos had no models or various views to see what's what. Too bad, the one wrapped photo of clothing looks great. The reviews are very helpful.
