I have purchased from them several times, and I didn’t know that when I redeemed their 30% coupon it automatically signed me up for their rewards program at 21.15 a month. I just caught it on my credit card statement almost 2 yrs later( that’s my fault). I called and they would only refund 6 months worth of charges, as a policy, so they have had to do this many times. I am thinking about filing fraud charges on them! I can’t stand this kind of sneakiness! Beware and do not buy from this company!

Shipping time is ridiculous
Shipping time is ridiculous. On 6/5/2024 I ordered $200 worth of merchandise, paid an extra $4.95 to ship it faster. Today is 6/11/2024@ 7 pm I still have not received the shipment.
I like the quality of their products but if you want it quickly, this company is not for you.
Keeping My Exchange
Ordered several items of clothing, one pair of pants too large. They say it's "easy to exchange" "just fill out the back of the packing slip." Guess what? There is NO packing slip! And when you "contact them" through their "contact" button, they don't respond at all. I sent several emails then called, and the customer rep had all my emails in front of her! But they couldn't bother to respond. They told me to write a "letter" (really more like a book) as to what I purchased, what I wanted to do, what the heck was happening! So I did, and mailed off the too-large pants as instructed. 4 weeks later, still awaiting my exchange. Never ever ever again, these people are really out to scam you.

STAY AWAY - This company does a bait and switch with 15% off order (but then only get one item discounted because others don't qualify. Then they offer $5.99 flat rate shipping over $90 but can't also get the 15% off (one item). Tried to cancel order 20 mins after confirmed and they said they could not as it was already being pulled at warehouse, nonsense so cancelled pending payment on my credit card. STAY AWAY
This is a terrible company
This is a terrible company. Their clothes seem to be ok although I think the sizing is off as most items seem to be a little too large. You have to pay a little too much to return items and it takes a while before they refund your money. The worst part is that they keep sending me their catalogs - not just NorthStyle but also Serengeti and others even though I have asked multiple times to be removed from the mailing list. So, if you don't want to be inundated with paper catalogs every month, stay away from this company.
I bought clothes from Northstyle
I bought clothes from Northstyle. I washed one of the tops, the Jersey side panel tunic in blue, per label directions and it came out poorly. The front panel material has twisted and now it sits wonky. Some of the trim has twisted also. I knew their return policy was a pain so I'll wear the top around the house but was hoping for a nicer summer top. It does run smaller than they said.

Poor Return Policy! Consider carefully whether to buy from North Style as 30% of the item cost to return is robbery!!! Purchased a dress for 34.99 and 10.95 to return it is a thumbs down! North Style needs to reevaluate their policy. Without brick and mortar ability to try on items, returns are inevitable. Not pleased and won't order again.

It was very easy to order online by just entering the product name as listed in their catalog. The items were delivered in a timely fashion and looked exactly like they were pictured. They all fit well. Yes, the cotton is a little thin, but what can you expect for the price? I've been reading all these horrible reviews, and I don't get it. They tried to get me with the membership deal, but when I changed my mind it was simple to cancel.
Upsell and shipping (membership) scams
Unfortunately, sometimes this company has cute items or sale items in brands I love (shoes). Unfortunate because I then get caught up in nasty up-sell speeches. The call agents must be miserable to hear that no matter what % off they offer, I just don't want anything except what I ordered. Then there's the shipping and membership scam where even I could not shout down the man on the phone. telling him I did not want anything but what I had ordered. In fact, I threatened to cancel the order I had just made!

Wish I would have read reviews before ordering anything. This company has a shipping scam and ridiculous return policy. They provide a return shipping label ( and will subtract $10.95 from return-if you EVER get a refund), but you cannot track the package. The post office said you cant buy insurance because the type of return label provided.
Buyer beware-stick with places where items can be returned to a store. This is a CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION.
I suspect every person who has commented on this site has lost money(in addition to their shipping scam)
Very Disappointed
I placed an order. It was never received. I finally called to check on the status of my order and was told it was canceled. I received no notification and they could not tell me why it was canceled. They offered to resubmit the order but I got a bad feeling about the company and decided not to place another order.
I checked their reviews and am glad I did not reorder. I am going to keep an eye on my credit card statements to be sure they don't charge me for a membership that I never agreed to.
I returned items using the pre-paid…
I returned items using the pre-paid postage label. The package was dropped off at FedEx. Tracking shows FedEx received the pkg on 4/2/24. On 4/10/24, the trail ended in Littletown, MA, with the notation "on the way." It's been 17 days since then. I was told my refund would come when they got the pkg.
I have no control of the pkg once it is with FedEx.They didn't seem to understand. NEVER buying from them again.
Received someone else's order
My items never arrived but I got someone else's order with my name on the shipping label. When they were going to correct it the original item I ordered was on backorder for several months.

NorthStyle is a horrible mail order company. I returned two items and they tell me it will take 4-6 weeks to get my refund. During that time I am being charged interest on my credit card and we know they won't pay that amount. What terrible customer service that it takes that long to process a refund. It has been 3 weeks since I sent my package back and I called today and all she said was it will take 4-6 weeks for a refund. She couldn't even tell me if they received my package. Also was charged $50 for tax and shipping and handling. That's the price of another top! Will NEVER order from them again!
RIP OFF FROM START TO FINISH
I, too, was signed up for their reward program but luckily I got an email that my "trial" period was ending and I would be charged $16.95 (!!!!) a month unless I cancelled. I called customer service and finally reached someone in the "Rewards Department" who did cancel my "membership" and I got a confirmation e-mail. You can bet I will be monitoring my credit card statement to make sure they don't try to slip it in. NOW, on to my order....
I ordered 3 pairs of pants from a brand I regularly wear and know what size I take. ALL three pants were huge. I also ordered a nightgown, also huge. There was a random blouse in there that I didn't order and wasn't on my packing slip. SO, I had to return all of it to exchange 2 pr of pants and the nightgown and to get a refund on one of the pants. Plus return the random blouse. Of course, I had to pay over $14.00 for shipping AND was told it would be 4-6 weeks before I would see the exchange/refund. I was also told I need to call once I see that the order was returned to their warehouse to make sure my refund/return was given a tracking number. WHAT? I'm responsible for that, too? Absolutely unacceptable but am stuck like chuck on this. NEVER EVER order from this rip-off company.

Northstyle signed me up for their rewards program automatically. This is a recurring 21.15 a month which I now have caught on my credit card. Watch out when ordering from Northstyle or you may find additional charges you were not aware of.
