Do not recommend you order from North Style
I do like their clothes, but the rest of the company is so bad I give it only one star. Website: frequently unable to access website; receive message: You are not authorized to use this site. Returns: Returned an expansive jacket a month ago and have yet to get refund or to get the status. Can’t find any status in return in website. Order history: Ordered a jeans jacket with a black coat. Got the black coat and no jeans jacket. Once I was able to actually get in website (took about an hour), I had to wade through the website to find a way to get an update on my order. This is not easy. Finally called and got an automatic message that said jeans jacket is back ordered until early January. I had never received any notification of this. No order update, no notice of back order. The invoice didn’t even say anything about a back order when I got the black coat. They gladly take your money but with each order I had paid for one day shipping, which usually each time took at least one week to receive items. Highly recommend you do NOT USE this company. Very poor customer service all around.

First time order and scam
First time order. A pair of womens pajamas that were too large. I printed their return label (costly) and returned them via FedEx. I have heard nothing despite phone calls to North Style for information. Additionally I was charged 21.82 for a “rewards” program I never heard of. I expect I’ll sadly never get the refund, but I will make sure the monthly Rewards program does not get paid. Calls to their customer service were a run around and I suspect the number is someone’s house since there was alot of background noise that suggested children & adults. This is yet another scam company which should be shut down.
Unsatisfactory customer service
I have ordered from Northstar previously and was satisfied with the service and products. However, thus last time I needed to return two items that did not fit right. I requested a size exchange. 6 weeks later, no word on status except for an email a couple weeks later that my return was received. I found it very difficult to submit an inquiry via their on line submission form. No reply. I emailed them. No reply. I called and had to give automated response. No info on my order. Called a few days later and my call was transfered out of the US. I'll never order from them again because, for myself, it's all about customer service and being able to easily get hold of someone.
Oversized Long Zip Sweatshirt Hoodie
My husband purchased the Oversized Long Zip Sweatshirt Hoodie for me last winter and it hasn't been a great experience. The fleece fabric almost immediately started to pill and and it attracts every kind of lint. The zipper has never worked properly; it catches, even after waxing it, and the edges of the teeth are quite sharp. Also it was nearly $70, just about twice the price of a much higher quality one I purchased on another site, and which I love.
I've decided to donate it because I hate to see it go in a landfill. Hopefully someone else won't find it so unpleasant to wear.
Stole my money
Sizing is off. Clothing is awkwardly shaped. Bought items from them several times, returned most. Never got a refund. This is an illegitimate business and should be reported to the BBB.
Signed me up for rewards program without consent, terrible customer service
They signed me up for a rewards program and charged me 21.75 without my consent, I called and got a big runaround, and then my call got disconnected while the woman was trying to cancel my membership in the rewards program. Never again will I order from this scammy sketchy company. They exploit their customers. I have disputed the fraudulent charges, but still had to close my credit card because I have a suspicion that they will continue to charge my card monthly.

I was going to order three blouses from North Style. The shipping was $19.00. They do not charge by weight but by the amount you spend. I ordered mats for my car and spent less on shipping than I would have spent on three blouses. I did not complete the purchase. They are scamming the consumer!
VERY disappointed
VERY disappointed. I returned a few items - on May 22, 2024 - for a refund. Have sent several messages indicating that I have yet to receive my refund. I have NOT heard from the company or received my refund. Run - run as fast as you can - from this company.

I like the clothing, but will not be a customer until their policy changes - I have been a customer for over 20 years with their competitor Chicos. Another competitor Soft Surroundings changed their policy.
WILL NEVER ORDER FROM NORTH STYLE AGAIN
I placed an online order in May 2024 and was unknowingly signed up for their "Rewards Program". A rewards program that YOU pay $21.55 per month for the "privilege" of being a member. My husband pays our credit card bills on line so I didn't catch that they had been charging me each month right away. After I noticed it I went back through our statements and saw that I had been charged in June, July, August, and September. I called CapitalOne and told them that I had not authorized any payments to North Style Rewards and to refuse the charge. Unfortunately they were only able to cancel the September charge. So today I called North Style to find out why they had been charging me for a program that I had never signed up for. Was on the phone for nearly 30 minutes and spoke with 4 different people and demanded a refund for the charges in June, July, and August. The customer service rep said that they would refund my money but it could take a few days to show up on my credit card statement so we'll see if they actually follow through.
UPDATE: North Style did refund the money that they charged me for June, July, and August. While I was pleasantly surprised it still is not enough to induce me to order from them again. It's a shame, because I really like their clothes.
First and last ordering from this company
I ordered a denim jacket for 70.00. I paid 15.00 for shipping. The jacket itself was awful. Cheap, zipper didn’t work, and the sleeves were narrow in the upper arm and extra wide from the elbow down. Made for a very weird look. I ended up returning it and paying another 15.00 for postage. So I lost 30.00 on this stupid jacket. Never again will I order from this company. The cost of their clothes vs quality is absurd.There are so many better higher quality companies which actually prepay your return postage. This company is a rip off.

Run far far away
Called customer service because my shipping charge was at least 10% of my purchase of $220. The rep told me she could give me a 10% discount and immediately asked for my credit card number. I told her I hadn't even placed an order yet so she took my order. My order subtotal was $190. Then shipping and taxes she told me it would be $260. I said I don't know how you got that total and then she said it would be $239. I told her she couldn't do basic math because our state has the highest sales tax which is 9.75% and they were charging me at least well over that and at leadt $25 for shipping. She then told me she couldn't give me a 10% discount that you can only get that if you went online after lying to me. I told her to just cancel my order and then she told me she would give me the 10%. I told her again she better cancel my order and I hung up. Run far far away from this company.
Horrible return experience
I purchased two blouses for $136.86. Both were either missing marked or their sizes run extremely small. I returned them within a week of receiving them with the enclosed label. It took 15 days for the items to reach their destination and their 100% guarantee refund was minus $29.66 for return shipping. This company is very fraudulent in their return guarantees.

Avoid Northstyle.
Poor customer service. Messages were ignored . I sent an item back for exchange and never received the item. After 7 weeks I discovered that I had been refunded, minus shipping costs. Their shipping rates and manipulations are a scam, as is their Automatic Rewards program for which they charge $21 45 monthly on your credit card. Mine was noticed and cancelled immediately. Be aware that Northstyle retains the customer's credit card numbers.
Exorbitant Shipping Fees
Three tops were in my cart. When I went to checkout, this company wanted to charge $21.50 to ship these items. I live half-an-hour from their shipping facility. Not a consumer friendly company. If the tops had not fit...I would have spent $$ to return them. They gouge their customers with shipping fees. Look twice before you place that order.
