After 7 years my T758 died
After 7 years my T758 died. I took it to an authorized repair shop and they diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts. I contacted NAD/Lenbrook and was told that the parts had arrived at their facility and would be shipped to the repair shop soon. Five weeks later, the repair shop phones to inform me that the parts are not available.
I have gear from 1971 that still works. Ignore the glowing reviews because NAD will ignore you. I plan to file a complaint with the BBB.
Pretty poor customer service
Pretty poor customer service. Incredibly junior support who just waste time going round in circles. Might be a good AVR (T778) but let down by dodgy software and poor support.
The worst customer service in the business!
I got a C368 last year 2020, and I started having problems a few months later. I contacted customer service multiple times. It took them 3 weeks to answer a email. Then the next email told me that the issue was resolved when it had not. I finally got an email that told me how to fix the problem that I was experiencing, I followed the instructions. This made the problem worse. They don't care about keeping their customers. I have invested close to $1000 for an amplifier that worked a couple of months. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against NAD.

Waiting over a year for warranty repair!
Delivered my dead NAD receiver to their service centre for warranty repair on March 12th, 2020. A YEAR has gone by with no resolution! AN ENTIRE YEAR!!! Emails (not many!) to their so-called Support Crew only gets a response saying my issue has been "Solved". What a load of BS.
UPDATE April 05 2021: lodged a complaint with BBB and had a full refund from NAD a few days later. I am grateful to finally have some resolution, but it should not have taken over a year and a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
ZERO Support from NAD
Bought a NAD C275BEE Power Amplifier together with a Bluesound Vault 2 approx 5 years ago in Denmark. The amp developed a fault and ceased working. NAD seem uninterested in repairing the amplifier. They operate via Sevenoaks Hi Fi in the UK and their repair service is simply closed due to CV19. I took the amp to my local repair shop and they diagnosed the fault but NAD will not supply them with spare parts! They said to take it to Sevenoaks Hi-Fi but as previously stated they are closed and not accepting repairs. So, I have a £1,000 power amp that does not work and NAD are just not interested in fixing. I will NEVER buy NAD or Bluesound again as the back up is terrible.
Don’t buy direct from NAD
Don’t buy direct from NAD. Good products but zero customer support, ludicrous shipping times and absolute inability to communicate.
No Support, poor design, Chinese built.
Most of these reviews about NAD read the same and mine is no different.
Recently bought the NAD M10 streamer. You get no documentation, nothing, oh a useless golden coloured plastic USB stick with a 4 page PDF.
At the NAD electronics website there is no support, no contact phone numbers, emails address etc, just a useless chatbot and about 8 FAQ's covering all their products. After opening a ticket for any of the myriad of issues you will have with your NAD Masters (what a painful joke) Series unit, expect a 12-15 delay before reply. When the reply comes it will be unhelpful, may or may not cut and past from a wikipedia page unrelated to your query and will only seem fitting if the writers aim was to encourage you to return your NAD garbage product and never consider the brand again.
My particular product is poorly thought out with no care being spent on usability or functionality. It is also poorly build for its £2300 price.
The back plate is all boastful about how it was designed and engineered in Canada and custom assembled to 'NAD' specs in China. Utter garbage, it was hastily planned using off the shelf parts to a time/money frame and then thrown together at the lowest cost in some Guangdong sweatshop.
I would never buy another NAD product, it's shameful this once awesome British Audio firm now just mass produces Chinese tatt at ridiculous prices.
NOOOOOO SUPPORT AT ALL
They are set up to require ANY question to go through the company you bought from and their documentation is practically non-existent. So any technical question - which come up with this sort of equipment - can't be discovered online either through documentation or chat (they will not chat or take calls from customers), and you have to call the guy at the boutique store you bought it from. Who may be busy. Who may not know much about your question. Who will then relay your question (once you get through to him) to NAD, which will STILL be unhelpful and which will probably answer a different question than you asked. Save yourself the headache. Buy from a company that has (1) at least basic documentation, (2) some kind of web/chat/telephone support, and (3) which backs up its claims (such as the vauge claim of Crestron support) with details.

Loved the sound of my T765 when it worked, but it turned out to be made with cheap parts and the digital signal processor stopped working after about 9 years. After MANY emails and phone messages to NAD customer service, I received a reply a week later to say that I needed to take my unit to an authorized service repair shop. The nearest one is 426 miles away.
$86 to ship the unit and another $110 to diagnose it. After a week I'm told NAD no longer makes DSPs for their T765 so the entire unit is now junk. I can either pay to have it shipped back without any repairs or they can "recycle" it for free.
Since then I have tried repeatedly to reach someone at NAD: I opened a ticket, multiple emails, multiple calls (but they never answer or return messages). Not even the courtesy to return a call or respond to their own service ticket.
So basically I paid $1,500 for an amp that lasted less than 10 years. I won't make the mistake of buying NAD again.
Never had a problem on my second went…
Never had a problem on my second went to tubes for awhile liked them but it's hard to beat nad they just sound really nice
Terrible support
Terrible support. Non caring, too bad attitude. I bought a D3045 amp. Within a couple of months the remote plastic broke! I have been waiting many months for it to be replaced under warranty. The amp started to play up within a year. They said it is hardware and has to go in for repair. Cheap, rubbish quality. Very poor backup. Used to be great and reliable when made in Britain, the China version is little more than junk. Marked decline in quality. I won't touch this brand again. Buyer beware.

Such a behaviour regarding a 200 € device is just unacceptable.
NAD is Bad!
Well the answer is they are not!
My unit was out of warranty ( never switched inputs smoothly ) but then no sound! They recommended a local Bammal TV... For a fee they diagnosed sound board replacement ..I was able to secure a new board do the necessary updates to the firmware ...
Did not work! Boutique PrePro makers can’t keep up ...I have over $4000 invested and no sound...amp is fine .... don’t by any PrePro from NAD!
State of the art company
State of the art company! Have been buying NAD products since 1993! Currently own NAD 208 power amp and 1000s pre amp cannot fault them on the quality of the equipment will give you years of stress free enjoyment! I have yet to have a nad product fail on me due to workmanship sure they can be pricey but you pay for what you get, highly recommended

NAD products are good when they work, which is fine - but you really find out about a company when something goes wrong. In this case NAD have proved to leave a lot to be desired. This experience would put me off buying anything from NAD again.
