We recently engaged McIntosh Electrical to extend power from the power board to our garage at the rear of our property.
Their team did an excellent job completing it in one day. It was a big job which included running cable from the power board to the rear of the house then digging a trench to the garage to accommodate the cable and installing lighting and power points inside the garage.
The job was done quickly and efficiently and extra effort was made to conceal any new cabling inside the house. The grass sods were put back in place when the trench was filled in and a general cleanup afterwards was very much appreciated.
We highly recommend McIntosh Electrical who have previously done other smaller jobs for us.

Nice guys, did a good job but the quote on one job suddenly increased two and a half times so we had to cancel it but we were still charged for part of the work.

I would have given 5 stars but on two occasions the devices they installed (fuse and transformer) were faulty - even when new. They did come back and fixed both under warranty. Very efficient to deal with, know their stuff!

They were on time, efficient and competent.

The electricians who did the work were on time, professional, competent, tidy and the cost was very reasonable. I’ll definitely use McIntosh Electrical again.

Replaced dimmer lights, but then they strobed. Came back and replaced dimmer switch to rectify and charged an additional $200+. Furthermore, the new dimmer switch was different to other switches they replaced a few days earlier, so we now have 3 types of dimmer switches together.

The McIntosh team did a wonderful job. The boys went over and above to ensure the job was done to perfection. They were polite, clean, hardworking and great communicators. I would have no hesitation in using McIntosh Electrical again.

Generally find mcintosh helpful but latest event not solved. Had a fuse that kept tripping by itself but mcintosh could not fix it. They did try but at over $400. Im in the same situation. They did offer to take it further but this would necessitate more intrusive work and more expense ( they are not cheap) which i wasnt prepared to do. But other jobs they have done here have been good tho pricey.

The electrician was on time, polite friendly, helpful, did a good repair.

We would have appreciated advice from the electricians on the day that they were not going to arrive within the indicated time period. We fully appreciate other jobs may run over time, but a small courtesy call or message would assist in our time management, as we also have other commitments and particularly made ourselves available at home within the indicated service time. We USED to recommend your organisation to others as in the past as you did pay your clients this courtesy.
