Installation of LED fluro lights and smoke alarm replacement.

Poor customer experience
We have used McIntosh Electrical several times over the past few years and we have been happy with their work. Recently, we asked them to upgrade our power board. After completing this work, we noticed that the air conditioner and home battery were not working. We rang and they sent someone out to look at the problem but were unable to fix them. We engaged our own service providers, at our own expense, to fix the problems. Both providers confirmed the errors were due to the power board upgrade. We informed McIntosh Electrical the cause of the errors and the expense we incurred. After an initial holding email, we have had no response to our follow up emails and no reimbursement for the additional expense we incurred. We are very disappointed.

Clients come first with this company
Great service from the first call until the job was completed! Price was much fairer than other electrician companies who were mostly interested in the call out fee!
Shout out to Jenny who listened carefully to my needs on the call, and responded in a highly professional manner confirming a solution at a fair price.
The team who worked on the job were also highly efficient and friendly.
Overall, a great customer experience! Best news is I now have my preferred provider for electrical issues going forward.

Excellent professional service
Excellent professional service. We had an ongoing problem with pool equipment tripping the safety switch. Electricians sent from the pool company failed to identify the cause twice - even though they said it was fixed, it wasn’t. The young tradie from Macintosh identified the source of the problem and fixed it.
