Charging for returns as stated before, despite being able to return free of charge to the club previously (they can’t quarantine online goods apparently?! .. unlike many other high street stores). So £6 to return a £20 shirt. Customer service failed to read what I was saying; they just reiterated that they would only cover postage if it was damaged. An appalling way to take advantage of covid 19 - especially when you are prevented from trying on in the store. Ignored my requests to provide me with the official complaints procedure. Though they did provide me with an address to return if I could organise my own cheaper postage!

When purchasing goods online without the ability to try them on for size, I expect the ability to return them if they don't fit. The cost to return them is about half the price of the item. I will not be ordering here again. Terrible way to take advantage of fans.

Ordered item rec 3 tracking numbers none of them excisted after ringing 7 days in a row being told sent nit sent I asked for refund under their terms if 6 working days nit recieved refund will get given that’s also a lie I’ve contacted my bank to sort

If you're planning on buying anything from these or the company that runs the football clubs shops dont bother...

Worst company ever! Ordered a strip for my son... they took payment and it should have arrived 5 working days after. Called to chase to see where it was as its late and then got told they didnt have stock... what the hell???

Ordered a shirt for my son. Due to Covid & not having chance to wear I’m wanting to exchange it. Has tags and is exactly the same as when I bought it. Only want to exchange (not get refund) for a larger size but told not possible . Very disappointed 😞

Horrible customer service. I ordered something on black friday and its April 13th. Was suppose to arrive December 2nd. Never order from the website. Im such a huge city fan but this is ridiculous. Billion dollar club and I can barely get a jersey I PAID for. Gonna have to dispute it smh.

If I could only say one thing, don’t ever buy from this website. As much as a man city fan you may be, it is by far the worst customer service and shipping i’ve ever had. If I could give this 0 stars I would. My package was supposed to arrive January 11, it’s February 23rd now and i’ve contacted them multiple times to only find out my package is 12 hours away in a post office in a different state. Not only that but they then ask ME to contact the post office when for one, I have no idea what post office it’s at, but also that’s not my responsibility! It’s honestly really frustrating seeing that a company as big as Manchester City are completely terrible at getting a single item to its destination. I know i’ve seen multiple people with the same issues so if you take anything from this, don’t ever buy anything from this store, you’re better off buying it from your local thrift store.

Returns process a joke.
only way to return an unwanted item is through their 'returns portal', this basically means £4.08 cost to return a pair of gloves. No other method available. WILL NOT BUY FROM MAN CITY SHOP AGAIN!!!

If a could give zero stars I would. I placed an order on November 17th 2020, a jersey and a sweatshirt, for my boyfriend who is a HUGE Mancity fan. My package was "stuck" for 2 months and during this time customer service was miserable and unresponsive. They took over a week to respond to emails each time and when they did there was no progress with the issue that was addressed. I received a delivery notification that my package was finally delivered...in Florida...I live in North Carolina. I have been trying to contact Mancity Shop for weeks for a refund on my order that was delivered to the wrong address, but they don't seem to care about their customers AT ALL. This issue is still unresolved and I don't see a refund happening any time soon. Do yourself a favor and don't ever order from this shop. You'd think a billion dollar company would be able to hire good help, but clearly not.

Really poor customer service. They charge you to return goods and then make you wait an unacceptable amount of time for your refund. Avoid

Ordered 27th November for my dads Xmas present, I’m still waiting now 8th of Jan.

I paid 8 pounds for shipping 1 shirt within Europe and I just assumed naturally it would be tracked post, not DHL or anything, I mean Royal Mail tracked... i mean it’s ONE shirt in large, not a giant box.

Anyway just because Xmas I asked if they had a tracking number to take to my post office and was told there isn’t one. I had to wait until x date then come back.

I’ve been told at least THREE times now to wait an extra 7-10 days, asked THREE times to confirm my address, and now they just aren’t replying to my emails.

I have reached the date now that they asked me to wait until and I guess they can’t ask me again to wait 10 more days, so why bother for a forth time... they just don’t answer me.

Returned items on 27/11/20 paying £4.70 for postage, it was received by the store on 9/12/20. I am still waiting for a refund and every time I try to get in touch there is an excuse. Awful service

Ordered in stock items in November, still not arrived, apparently one item is out of stock! Won't send the one item that is in stock though. No communication until i approached them.

Dreadful company. Sent me a Christmas jumper with Villa written all over it. Now won’t issue a refund unless I take it to the post office, arrange recorded delivery back at my own expense which I can’t do because we’re in lockdown. I’ve sent the photos that the item is faulty ie not a Man City jumper at all. So upset by the whole thing. Nothing to give my son and no refund either. Don’t order from these cowboys.

Shop have been pushing clearance items since November. Ordered three items for Christmas presents. Nearly four weeks on no sign. Customer service contacted twice but no help. Been a City fan for 50 years but will never buy anything from the shop ever again.

Wish I could put a 0 rating. Very unhappy revived my order for it to be damaged? And had a stain on it, was offered to return it I would have to pay for return fees and then to be told that it takes another 2 weeks after this to receive it back or new item? Just a joke really when it was an Xmas gift emailed the shop they told me they would give me 15% refund ??? Is that a joke? Such an insult to something that isn’t my fault? And then also was offered free postage on my order ended up paying for postage aswell waiting for them to get bakc to me this has been ongoing about 2 weeks Bad customer service I will never ever order from here again would just still to JD or sports direct in future. Avoid at all costs.

If I could leave a minus rating I would. I've ordered Xmas presents for my husband a life time supporter of this club. He has been shielding since March due to a heart condition. I ordered my goods on the 27/11/20 with an expected delivery dates of 2/12 and 9/12. Just been through to the Call Centre and all goods are out of stock with the exception of a Mug. I asked why they were taking orders on goods they know they can't deliver on before Xmas and got cut off since that is a question they couldn't answer. This is appalling. City are a very rich club and will be making thousands on our money while we wait for our goods. If there is a city Santa, would you deliver on time. At the moment I am feeling like a Mug for thinking there service would match other smaller and larger retailers.

I warn you never to shop with this company I purchased a shirt on 21/11/20 I returned the shirt on 21/1120 because it was too small using everything they asked now they won’t refund and are making out I still have the shirt I have sent proof of return it’s like banging my head against a brick wall, what don’t they get about a return. They must think I’m going to pay £65 to try a shirt on and return it no way shocking company will never ever shop with them again shocking customer service think they are brain dead
