Hi I just want to leave a review to make people aware that there is a girl who works in the hotel receptionist Orla who is sleeping with peoples husbands who go away to work ringing the room number to get them which is a disgrace what kind of management would let things like this happened Orla I hope u happy living the dream and being part of wrecking families just wanna make people aware

Not one thing could I fault about this hotel. It’s in a great location. The food, cleanliness and staff are fantastic.The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is fantastic...great base in Dublin .

A huge thank you to Ricky...Lucia and all the other amazing staff members that helped me plan my stay ...you did a fantastic job ..they went over and beyond to assist me.
I hope there are staff awards to let them know how much their kindness and help is appreciated.

My family had a short break at the Maldron Hotel in Portloaise. This feedback is specifically for their Grain & Grill Bar and Restaurant. I want to take the time to mention one of your outstanding staff by the name "Ciara". Ciara was so excellent with her manner of welcoming guest with her smiling face. Ciara was always looking at guest table to ensure that everything needed was at the table. Ciara blew my mind when she recall the names of my children. Wow to me, that shows she cares about the guest she was serving. Ciara keep up the good service. Cant recall the duty managers name, she was lovely as well

Really fine customer service, even putting up with a dizzy, travel-weary idiot with no clue about modern hotels.
Rooms are fine, facilities are great, but there's one fly in the ointment that robs Maldron of that fifth star.
The doors in the corridors both to the rooms and the corridors themselves lack soft-closing devices. As a result, at 6am, every early-rising guest does an excellent job of waking up the later-rising ones, as the doors bang shut.
This really needs attending to, as the lack of sleep I suffered had a deleterious effect that day.

This is a very clean hotel, hand sanitizer available.
Customer service is outstanding.
Location was ideal near walks, eateries and tram stop.
Christiana could not do enough to help, very polite and effiecient.
We did have an issue with another guest being noisy, so last night only a couple of hours sleep this is not the hotels fault. Fiona was very understanding, the hotel did what they could to rectify the issue.

Breakfast is absolutely amazing, I think we tried everything and if you like us an order the whole menu. You can take it to you room.

We tried super, childrens meal looked great, thought my child didnt touch it. Vegetarian options, like everywhere in Dublin limited and not brilliant. The Korma was a puddle of water with vegetables and spices, just aweful. Cocktails are outstanding.

Improvement is needed in the leisure centre. Many leisure staff were abrupt. We had to buy swim hats. No idea why just money making I guess, as a public health specialist I can say its nothing to do with public health, maybe it reduces hair build up in the filters. Apparently, one size fits all (they dont) my daughters constantly fell off, I spoke with them politely since she had only worn it once. And was told to go elsewhere and buy another. This is unacceptable, if you sell a product you need to ensure it is a satisfactory quality. However, these are not fit for there purpose. So take your own swim hats or do like all the locals who arrived and do not bother wearing one!.
Swing check in would be better at reception for hotel guest, to avoid crossing eith public on stairwells. And somewhere within the changing room to dispose of towels.
