It's partially my fault for not researching their product more but I needed something quick and I made the purchase. I was under the impression that I could rent by the hour or for one day but that's not the case. At checkout it would only offer me the 25 hour or 7 day plan. Not a dealbreaker and I figured what the heck, I could probably use it on future projects. Setup was not bad and I launched a project and that's when the problems started. I expected some lag but the next two hours were the worst experience I have had in a long time and I'm not exaggerating. I submitted a message about the issues I was having but never received a response and the browser link password wouldn't work either. I requested a password reset three times and checked all folders but never did receive anything. I finally gave up and reached out to customer support about a full refund. Needless to say, the emails went back and forth until they realized my next step was contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge. Their offer was a partial refund and your account is officially closed response. To anyone looking at trying their services, I would not spend any time or money on macincloud.

The service they offer is good value, and worked fine for my needs (iOS app development). But their business model seems to rely on making people pay for things they didn't intend to. Three reasons I believe that: 1. so many reviews on trustpilot and other sites. 2. there is no way to see your current usage (in my case, my plan is for a maximum of 7 days in a month, but I cannot see how many days I have used so far. Their support confirmed there's no way to see, and told me I need to keep my own records. (For real!) 3. I cannot remove my payment method, even after cancelling the subscription. It all feels shady - a big shame as the service they offer seems otherwise legit.

Kept getting timed out, couldn't do a simple clone of a repo to finish the IOS specific work. Froze multiple times doing the simplest tasks.

Machine wasn't working. Support was quick to respond but couldn't get the machine working. Gave me the run around when I asked for a refund. Not worth it, waste of time.

No matter that I paid for SSH, machine was not configured to provide it.

Dealing with AI support agent, without fixing the issue, no matter that I wrote them possible cause.

Wouldn't suggest it to any kind of professional use.

Worst subscription of my Life so Far, none of their tools/configurations worked... Wasted DAYS of my time, the furthest I got was a blank Mac start-up screen via the web tool, EVERYTHING ELSE Failed really hard !

I got so frustrated to the point that I had to go out & buy an actual new Mac, my advice is to simply never spend a dime on this shit, NOT WORTH IT !!!

Can't sign into existing apple ID on remote server making the whole thing unusable. Asking for screenshots and can't really do that as the error is after the verification on my phone.

Refusing to give refund. Stay far away

I bought a monthly plan with 3h max per day as PayAsYouGo .

They charged me 20 USD for overuse hours (pay-as-you-go), but I'm 100% sure I logged out. Why is there no warning if you go into overuse? Why isn't there a meter that shows your actual usage time? I think it's no coincidence that these features are missing. It feels like they do this just so they can charge randomly.

The Cloud runs fine so far. That's why I gave 2 of 5.

I've used MacinCloud for only a few months now and I can confidently say that the customer support is fantastic. They get back to me very quickly and always answer my questions and help me with fixes/make suggestions for me.

I paid $15 for MacRent.cloud with the expectation of receiving access to a Mac mini for development.

After payment:

No email with access details was sent immediately
Support was slow and unresponsive at first
They later claimed a “weak connection” and asked me to wait up to 1 hour

I do not feel confident about their reliability or service. Because of the delays and poor communication, I requested a full refund.

I signed up for the 24-hour plan and the connection has already dropped twice. The first time I must have been without access for about 3 hours, and now I've been without it for 2 hours. That is, 5 hours or more without access in a short and expensive period that I paid for to upload 2 apps. I don't recommend this service to anyone.

Update:
I had this problem on the first and second day, and then it stabilized. I also experienced some periods of slowness, but that might have been my internet connection. Overall, it met my needs, despite these hiccups. Support sometimes takes a little while to respond, but they addressed all my requests.

Horrible. support inexistent, no cancel subcription, they wont let you remove your card. never recomedning this or going back ever.

Pour le prix, le service est deplorable. Le pay as you go n'est pas en visu sur votre espace. Vous ne savez pour où vous en etes.
Des bugs aleatoire, certain empeche de deco la session (donc vous payez un service inutilisable)

Server's never work, charged for usage when not used. And it's almost impossible to contact anyone. They on purpose make it impossible to monitor usage, and I've had a horrible experience.

Macincloud is brilliant! I needed to build iOS apps, and I had never owned a Mac before. Macincloud allowed me not only to write the app and test it (using TestFlight), but also to get familiar with the performance of the Apple ecosystem. Thanks to that, after two months I was able to confidently buy exactly the Mac I needed.

During the two months of using Macincloud, I didn’t experience any issues with performance, logging in, or connection stability, and I worked from both Ubuntu and Windows.

Had a technical mismatch with a plan I purchased, but the MacinCloud support team really stepped up. Huge shoutout to Tin and Andrew for their professionalism. It’s rare to find a company that actually listens to the customer and prioritizes a good experience over rigid policy. They handled my situation with class and efficiency. Great Service for using Mac temporarily. Had all the specs I needed and continually provided uptime and good service.

I put wrong email - did not get login because of that - panicked - wrote them emal and on fb - they responded on fb even on sunday on thuestdsy mo ey was back on my acc. so far so good.

This service greatly helped my testing of an iOS app

In the start I experienced some technical issues. Getting support required patience. Having support makes it all good again.
