Caution - scammers.
Over a year and I still have not received product (I pledged for two).
On the contrary I’m now asked (after months of mailing back and forth) to pay money for additional warehouse storage and re-delivery (90 euros).
Also they say they can not ship new units.
Also they do not want to refund my money as I have to right to be refunded per German law as they do not comply with their delivery terms.
That much of a scam attitude is rare to encounter.
Also I was told to hurry to pay again as the warehouse costs money every day :)))) what a joke after waiting for over a year.

I really don't know what is happening with Loch Electronics at the moment! I've emailed them several times this week and still no reply!

I pledged towards dishwasher last Autumn and still have not yet received it! I did get an email last month saying batch 3 is now in a UK warehouse awaiting despatch....that was over 6 weeks ago and haven't had any correspondence since!

The early days had great communication but now absolutely nothing! Also what makes it most annoying that these dishwashers are freely available to purchase from Amazon etc and also get direct mailings from Loch Electronics advertising dishwashers with discounts! I was told this was setup differently and couldn't have one!

BUT YOUR THE SAME COMPANY!?!

I just simply want to know what is happening and be given an update as a simple courtesy as a customer...who almost feels this is a scam! As you've took my money several months ago and have nothing to show for it!

So please Loch Electronics get yer finger out and send me a dishwasher ASAP and give me a confirmation!! If not have to seek legal advice on this situation as feel I've been totally let down.

Update: customer service got in touch and sent a range of suggestions to identify and correct the issue. The fix was actually solved easily - the pump connector had come loose so I simply reconnected it. To do this I had to remove the shell which I did not enjoy doing on a brand new machine but at least I hope it’s resolved now. Loch, please remove the incorrect contact number from your website and give the direct customer service email - it does not inspire confidence to find an incorrect number.

So disappointed and frustrated. Capsule arrived today, hurrah. I had emailed at the beginning of the week but still have never had a reply to that email, so I was reassured when it was delivered today. Set it all up - and there’s an issue. When it’s turned on it defaults to the plumbing setting - but I am using the water tank. I manually set it to water tank and it starts its programme but a minute in when it’s evidently trying to draw water in, there’s noise but no water. It then switched to plumbing mode again. So basically it doesn’t work. I’ve checked all the hoses and the set up, tried different programmes. Nothing. I can’t see anything that would prevent the water being drawn in from the tank. I did however notice that the back casing is not fully flush - not sure if that’s a factor. But it had obviously been tested as there was a small amount of water inside, so that should have been picked up unless it happened in delivery. My frustration comes from the inability to contact someone for help - the phone number on the website is not correct and emails and messages in insta and FB are yet to be responded. This was a really expensive piece of equipment and i am just so dissapointed with myself for choosing it. I really hope this can be resolved asap - the thought of having to send it back and argue for a refund or replacement fills me with dread.

Great experience from ordering to receiving my machine which only took a couple of days. I’m just as excited to use it as I was waiting for it. I’ve had a table top machine before, but this far surpasses it. I can get more in to start with and use larger plates. I get more in it than advertised ( although I’ve not counted) as I chuck all cooking utensils in on top. I use the 15 min setting a lot throughout the day if there are few items but use 45 min wash for evening meal things. It’s like a little piece of magic and made a huge difference to my life.

I backed the Capsule Dishwasher 2.0 from Loch Electronics on Indiegogo (Pledge-ID: 4242622B) and, unfortunately, this has been a very frustrating experience. It has now been 9 months since my contribution, and I still haven’t received the product. The campaign status shows the perk as “ready to ship,” yet there has been no shipping update for almost 3 months.
At this point, it’s hard not to feel misled. I understand that crowdfunding involves risks and delays, but a lack of communication at this stage is unacceptable.
If there are manufacturing or logistics issues, backers deserve honest, regular updates. Silence for months while marking orders as ready to ship seriously damages trust. I am still hoping the company will improve its communication and finally ship the product, but until that happens, I can’t recommend backing a campaign from Loch Electronics.

I purchased a Capsule Solo and it was terrible, dishes always dirty. I purchased a $100 cheaper hermitlux counter top dishwasher and it washes dishes. They are clean and not filmy.

I would not recommend purchasing a Capsule dishwasher.

I really wanted to love the Capsule, but it developed a sensor fault on the very first day. Support is only available via email, and the phone number on their website didn't work. I was ignored until I was forced to post on their Instagram page—looking online, it seems other customers have had similar issues with faulty machines and a lack of support.
​The company has now collected the machine, so they have both the unit and my money. However, they are using a "return for inspection" policy to delay my refund. Since the item was faulty on arrival, I have exercised my legal right to reject it under the Consumer Rights Act. I shouldn't be waiting for them to "determine liability" on a product that never worked. Great marketing, but the after-sales process is a nightmare.

UPDATE: The company’s reply is misleading. I informed Loch's support the moment their own courier (DPD) collected the unit last Tuesday. Tracking shows it reached the Aberdeen depot days ago. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I have rejected this faulty machine; courier delays at the final destination are not a valid reason to withhold my refund.

Update 25/01/26: Despite the company's reply below, it has been 5 days since they promised a resolution in '24-48 hours'. They have the unit, they have the requested video evidence of the fault, yet they are still holding my money. Extremely poor service.

FINAL UPDATE: The company never followed through on their promises. Despite having the faulty unit and my evidence, they used "inspection" as a stalling tactic and missed every deadline they set before ceasing contact. My refund only happened because Klarna intervened to get my money back.
​Warning: Their actual policy seems to be wasting your time until you either give up or your payment provider steps in. Do not rely on their support—if your machine is faulty, go straight to a chargeback.

I was a little apprehensive after reading previous reviews, but my experience with Loch has been good.

The Loch Capsule is deeper than I imagined - I'm so pleased I can fit 4 large plates at the back plus smaller items at the front. It holds much more than I expected.

It was a little slow to be dispatched (over the new year), and there was a small issue with the dishwasher not drawing water from the tank when it arrived, but support were fast to respond and extremely helpful, guiding me on how I could quickly fix the fault myself without needing to return the whole dishwasher and start again.

That fixed, its first couple of runs have been brilliant - quick and clean dishes! Even tried a 15 minute wash to clear some breakfast items, and they've come out more than clean enough!
I've been using Clean n Fresh Dishwasher Gel from Sainsbury's which is easy to get hold of and dose for the small washes.
Living in London and a little worried about scale, I've been running water through a limescale filter jug first. It might be overkill, but for now there's no evidence of residue on the dishes, so it works!

Overall, despite my initial reservations, I'm really pleased with the Loch Capsule and its adaptability, and I'm looking forward to never washing up again!

The machine is truly excellent.
We are a very small office, and on a daily basis we also have meetings with people coming in and out. Space is extremely limited, especially in our tiny kitchenette. I had been considering a solution like this for a long time, and in the end I decided to go for it.
Honestly, it has made everyday life so much easier.
There is a real sense of relief now — everything feels lighter and smoother in our daily routine.
The dishes are cleaned properly, and they actually look great afterwards — clean, neat, and high quality. It’s a small machine, but a truly high-quality product.
We are genuinely very happy with this purchase. From time to time, my colleagues even say:
“Thank you — this is one of the best investments we’ve made recently as an office.”
Highly recommended for small offices with limited space.

I have had my dishwasher for 15 months and it has been running great. It fits a good amount of dishes and cleans them well - provided you use the correct products. Which depending on your location, may take some time to find what works best.
It looks fab, is quiet and does exactly what it needs to. And a couple months ago when I got an error message and contacted the team at Loch, their patient responses, help and detailed support solved the issues. You will need to work with the team but they are a pleasure to deal with. Absolute 10/10 for customer service from me.
I haven’t rated it 5 * just because the fact that it did unfortunately have an issue after a year of use but I am pleased to say it running perfectly again.

Just what we were searching for - we are downsizing and cannot install a slimline dishwasher in our smaller kitchen but the Loch will only take up half a 600mmm wide cupboard - result!
Quick delivery, well packaged and made in Scotland - what is not to like ??

UPDATE ON REVIEW. Have now put review to 2 stars as 8 weeks after purchase bottom rubber seal kept coming adrift and then rubber seal on right hand side is now adrift. Video was sent for me to do repair, as I'm neither a technician or an employee of Loch Electronics it wasn't going to happen. Now in hands of my credit card company to obtain full refund after numerous emails requests to Loch Electronics for full refund. Read reviews on Facebook before purchasing, wish I had. Saw the advert for the small dishwasher and purchased it. What an absolute belter. Suits my needs 100% and was kept up to date with the delivery details after order was placed. Not used it for saucepans but 15 minute wash program is more than adequate to clean plates and utensils. Highly recommend if you're stuck for space in your kitchen but want a dishwasher.

A very long wait for the Capsule to arrive from the moment I started backing the new project until now. I am really pleased with the overall functionality of the dishwasher as it does a great job even on a short wash. Only downsides are the drawer needs to be customisable for different items as larger items taken more space as they can't be arranged properly and the cable for power is very short and could be longer to allow better placement in the kitchen.

The Capsule dishwasher (we have one of the first releases) has been terrific. Over the years we’ve had one or two minor issues, (one of which was my inability to read a manual correctly), and the support is second to none. When I’ve needed spare parts they’ve arrived promptly and with clear videos showing the simple steps required.
The Capsule is very well-built and reliable, but is also straightforward to disassemble, should you wish to repair it yourself if that time comes.

I ordered a Loch Capsule dishwasher and emailed Loch to see when delivery would be approximately, I received a reply more or less straightaway from Daniella at team Loch who followed up delivery with DPD and kept myself informed every step very impressed, even after delivery emailed to check everything was OK and if i had any queries to not hesitate to contact her. The customer care is outstanding and I am so impressed with my new Loch Capsule countertop dishwasher compact, efficient, amazed how good it is as I dont have room for standard floor standing one brilliant well worth every penny.
