Where are your German products if you say it's a German owned company? I went there once no German products

Worst customer service ever! Rude disrespectful and don’t take us being a customer seriously at all. I have tried to shop there 5 times and now I’m done. First time must have been their only good day. Every time since it gets worse. Only been in the United States 1 year and your reviews are horrible! Last straw selling a leaf blower with out the battery? Can’t use it? And nobody knows where the battery is? They have no care whatsoever about you being there customers! Go to Aldis they treat you with respect.

We have been trying to be faithful shoppers to Lidl BUT it's now obvious they don't give a dang about customer retention. Its 35 miles round trip for us to shop there. Been there 3 times to buy gallons of Spring Water to drink. Today I try to call the store to check to see if they received any. Their system does NOT allow you to call a store. You can check stock in specific stores on line BUT its not accurate. So after driving there the 4th time I was told by an employee to call Customer Service and tell them the system is not working. SO I did. The girl I spoke with said I can call the 844 number and they can check a "better more accurate system" SO I asked he to check 2 stores. She said they have plenty of stock and asked if I would like HER to call the store to verify. She did and NEITHER one had any stock. SO I said I will shop at the competition from now on. Her reply...."OK Good Bye" That will be the last time my car is parked in their parking lot!

Absolutely horrible meat department. 5 times I bought rancid meat that was no where near the expiration date. When I returned my spareribs the last time the manager said he would not remove the remaining packages off the shelves. He also lied saying no one has returned meat there which is a lie because I did more than once. I really tried to support this company now I will go on every social media warning customers to stay away. They don’t care about their customers just about their pockets.

The store at 2973 Route 35 in NJ is usually dirty. I am also concerned with how they keep their refrigerated products safe. Today I bought meat at this location that was totally rotten.

What the heck happened to Lidl?when they opened, the bakery was to die for. For us here in the US, we discovered a taste of Europe via the french rustic baguette, pain au chocolat, raisin bread, vanilla twist..
Now..you can barely find them
Rustic baguette?? Recipe changed, they just let the same shape to fool us
Most of good stuff have been replaced with "crap"

Went to york store today the store is nice an clean but checking out was bad I got to the register there was a sign witch said cash or ebt cards go to register 6 I did that as I was going there the girl was walking away my daughter ask her if she was going back she shook her head no I went back to the line I was in there were two full carts ahead of me I hollered at her why do you have a sign if no one is there she would not even look at me an I think she was a manager needless to say I left my cart sit an left

Some great products and price!

I have about 15 items that Lidl Carrie's that beat the other stores in price and very good and consistent quality. That includes dairy, bread, bottled water, eggs and juice. I have tried their shrimp and meats all very good and reasonably priced too. Their selection is not wide but so what if the quality is good?
Shop weekly and get my weekly staples for my groceries.

Why? I mean why this format in NY? I just find the experience of the store to be really substandard, and they have no range of brands and on Long Island - NO DELI. Why go here? I miss the Best Market this LIDL replaced. NEVER GOING BACK.

lidl is the Best grocery store for me. I love what they bake at the bakery because its always delicious, the food they also sell is nice and cheap. I also really like their ice cream, its the Best kind of ice cream i can get from a grocery store!

Terrible service from a ginger haired female employee.
I asked her if she could please show me where the bacon was and she just pointed and said over there?
I asked again politely and she said if its not over there we dont have any.
I had to ask a third time and eventually and reluctently she took me to the bacon.
Not a smile in sight- I will take my service somewhere else in future, -
Lidl in price and Lidl in customer service.

Ich hatte einen Unfall weil es am Boden feucht war. Bin ausgerutscht und habe mich am Gestell sehr verletzt. Meine Brille ist kaputt. In der Filiale sagte mir die Filialleiterin das das kein Problem ist. Habe dort Unfallmeldung ausgefüllt. War n den Ferien. Konnte nicht in Wellnessbereich wegen der Verletzung. Kam von den Ferien nach Hause und hatte einen Brief bekommen, dass Lidl nicht dafür zuständig sei.
Ich habe Ihnen telefoniert und wurde seeehr unfreundlich abserviert. das finde ich sehr KUNDENUNFREUNDLICH. Ich werde nicht mehr bei Lidl einkaufen !!!!

Lidl HAD great products, European delicacies. Now it has substituted a great deal with American products that try and miserably fail to mimic the original items.

Their focus has been to open stores, and they do not care what it does to logistics and management. Now they have more stores that they can serve, prices have climbed considerably, and choices declined.....if you can find anything on the shelves at all.

I have no idea why they sell meat that is the worst quality and value of any store.

What a joke of an organization. They started well, and then squandered every advantage. Maybe they will hire some knowledgeable CEO and go down from there to become better. This is not Sweden, Mr. CEO, this is USA and the consumer is fickle.

We have recently moved house and we’re in need of some new appliances, we are elderly so sometimes are in need of assistance when visiting stores.

I asked a lovely young man if he could show me to the culinary aisle, he looked at me strangely but agreed...

We spent over $300 dollars on incredible looking things,

But when my son visited the other week he asked why we were poaching our eggs in “cock” rings and eating out soup with sex toys In the shape or male genitals.

Your staff Should be aware of the difference of culinary and cunniligus.

Lidl Romania fines its customers by blocking their cars in the parking lot, without installing visible signs. An abusive attitude masked by so-called internal regulations ...

Been a loyal shopper at Lidl "welling branch" for over 6 years. Past three weeks has just been awful. From empty fridges, no checkout staff only self checkout "with a trolley load of goods is not ideal".

Good quality and price. Bad sales method.
It is not possible to buy products online!

It is possible to buy them only when they are placed
periodically on sale in stores.

No it is possible know precisely when it is programmed
their sale in stores.

It is not even possible order them in stores,
even if they are not currently available put up for sale..

Shockingly bad customer service.

Bought some snow trousers for my daughter that are the wrong size, whilst scanning my receipt for the car parking system i have dropped the receipt, i need to return these for a refund or if not at least a credit note or the equivalent off my next shop (i shop weekly at Lidl). Rang and spoke to a manager at the Livingstone Distribution centre who point blank refused to help it is not their policy to accept anything back without the original receipt, he also refused to accept proof of my credit card payment to Lidl. Appalled that despite them being the only company that sells this make they will not in any way help.
