This referencing process has been chaotic, unclear, and extremely stressful. I was asked to provide six months of rent statements even after granting full open‑banking access, yet their system failed to pick up the payments and offers no working way to upload the documents they requested. The chat support is non‑functional, and there has been no clear communication or guidance on how to proceed.

I am now stuck in the middle of a tenancy application with no way to submit the information they themselves asked for. This is unacceptable and feels borderline fraudulent when a company demands documents but provides no functioning method to supply them.

I need someone from Lettings Hub to contact me immediately to resolve this. The current process is not fit for purpose and is causing serious, unnecessary stress at a critical time.

Trying to complete the process of referencing and ID checks has been a complete farse

Staff love a meeting and can't answer issues as they use 3rd party IT etc

Staff also not competent at answering queries

Start to today after 7 days still not complete and it is an automated service who claim to be experts

If you're a letting agent stay away, my letting agent has never experienced anything like these clowns

If you're a potential tenant buy some nerve meds

This company even doesn’t deserve 1 star, the service they provide is absolutely terrible horrendous service. They never intend to help people, they only know how to torture mentally. Despite giving all the documents, they never get satisfied and only tries to harass innocent people. avoid this awful company

Asking my job contract and NI, bank statements, and 3 months payslip? is directly related to tenancy?
Asking payslips in email but when you call they require something new.
Even after providing my payslip and my managers direct company contact details.
Asking me to connect their link to my banking app for what possible reason ?
According to website They are trading as insurance service provider so in which capacity you require this and how you secure it. which regularity authority you fall under or governed by?
BLOODY TOO MUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION WHICH IS NOT NEEDED AND NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS AS WELL JUST MADE UP NEED.

I have spoken to Lizzy from the Lettings Hub many times for different tenancies and she is always so helpful. She always answers the call ready to help and in such a friendly manner. All the help she gives is very thorough and genuinely really helps me out, especially when I have many tenancies to get through referencing. Also, as I have only been working for Savills for a few months and she is always more than happy to explain matters in more detail if I need, which has been a massive help. Finally, I have learned a lot about the referencing process from her and really do appreciate all the help she has given me.

We had a few little problems with our forms the help we received was fantastic and very helpful .and was sorted out very quick .

He was very supportive while I went through the process of sending in documents. He was very polite and patient with me.

Ok. So we are going through the checks with letting hub. They have come back and said that I’ve still got a Iva on my credit report. Even though it was completed in 2023. My clear score which is run through equifax states I have no ccjs Iva’s etc on my credit score. So it seems to me a bit suspect to me given that I was openly honest on my application and said I did have a Iva but now complete. Letting agent subsequently said I needed a guarantor because of this. A guarantor that the lettings hub supply……. Maybe a coincidence that…….
After reading some of these reviews my doubt in the letting hub seems to be correct. I will be taking this further.
