We stayed at the Casa Del Artista ground floor apartment with my family and I will not be recommending this unpleasant place to anyone that wishes to stay here in the future.
We had booked our stay there for 4 nights and arrived on the 4th of July 2025 but checked out 24 hours after as we could not physically stay 1 more night there.
At the beginning of our arrival we had issues with check in, during our arrival we could not help but notice the apartment was not in fact clean. In fact, it was completely filthy, sticky floors, sand under the foot stool, dust on every peace of furniture in each room, bedrooms were damp and humid with no access to open up a window to air out the damp smell. Each room was decorated very poorly as it is such a dark apartment, poor lighting through out the property, dark laminate floor boards, dark walls with bad scratches all over, dark rugs with stains on them. The throws were dirty and already used by the looks of it as there was food stains on them and it smelt of wet dog.
If you are also traveling for business I do not recommend there as the wifi and phone signal is very bad. The only room I could do my work in was the front garden which is open to all public.
Oven had previously been used and had grease inside it, kettle water had not been emptied prior to our arrival, insect bites throughout our duration of our stay, hence one of the main reason we had to vacate and go back home early. We have stayed in plenty of luxury apartments all over and this has been by far the worst one yet.
We have had such an unpleasant experience with the owner that had only managed to respond to our previous matters 24 hours later and did not answer our constant phone calls that day either.
Owner refused to send a refund and had the cheek to try and turn all blame back on us after seeing all evidence. I’ve also attached photos for everyone’s awareness.

Total rubbish.
Made a booking, 30 minutes later was cancelled by them, then tried getting a refund but could not actually speak to anybody, only a wattsapp chat which is automated and no help at all.
Avoid this company!!!!!!!!

Easy straight forward booking, this is my first time booking this kind of break.

Great easy to use site nice and quick needed the receipt for tomorrow for it within seconds of payment it's my partner's 57 th birthday and part of her present the dates we are booked for is our 19th anniversary so yeah brilliant just hoping for good weather and fun times once we get there

A Wonderful Stay at Preston Cottage, Bexhill-On-Sea.

We had such a lovely time at Preston Cottage! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by Leonora, Darren, Max, and Monty. They are truly wonderful people who make you feel right at home.

The cottage itself is beautiful and cozy, with stunning views from the windows that you’ll never tire of. It’s a perfect place to relax and unwind, and absolutely ideal for families. Their two friendly dogs, Maple and Ireland, added a special touch to our stay – they’re so sweet and well-behaved.

The location is also great – just a 5-minute drive to the seaside, which made for easy trips to the beach and nearby attractions.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming countryside cottage. The location was peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the city. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break. We especially loved the fireplace and the stunning views from the garden. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. We would happily return and highly recommend this lovely place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable countryside retreat.
