Won't be ordering from Lancôme again
I recently had a disappointing experience with Lancôme that has led me to stop purchasing from them altogether.
I placed an order as a gift and accidentally entered the wrong billing address. When I realized the mistake, I contacted customer service right away. Although the order was ultimately canceled, I was told that the loyalty points used for the purchase would not be credited back to my account. This was especially frustrating since those points were earned over time and were supposed to qualify me for a promotional free item.
To me, this feels like an unfair policy. If an order is canceled and not fulfilled, customers shouldn’t lose the rewards they’ve already earned. It gives the impression that customer loyalty isn’t genuinely valued.
Beyond this experience, I also question whether the brand’s pricing aligns with the actual value of the products. There are many alternatives on the market that offer similar quality without the high markup.
Overall, this situation left a bad impression, and I won’t be ordering from Lancôme again.

My Lunar New Year promotional gift set was missing, yet the only resolution offered was to return the entire order rather than fixing a simple issue. There was no flexibility, no goodwill, and no real effort to support a long-time customer.

Pessima esperienza acquisto tramite ecommerce
Ho acquistato tramite l'ecommerce un profumo il 3/2 per fare un regalo a San Valentino (utilizzando uno sconto) e il pacco sarebbe dovuto arrivare entro 4-7 giorni lavorativi. La consegna doveva essere gestita da Poste Italiane ma all'11/02 ancora non era arrivato nulla. Contatto l'assistenza clienti su whatsapp (il modo più rapido che offrono, già qui l'assenza anche solo di un chatbot si fa sentire) e vengo dirottato ad un numero telefonico. Chiamo e mi viene indicata un'email per tracciare il pacco tramite il sito delle poste e risulta "in transito". Monitoro giornalmente e fino a ieri 17/02 ancora nulla, chiamo l'assistenza di Poste Italiane e mi viene detto che c’è un problema con la spedizione che non riescono a verificare, dicono che deve essere il venditore a mettersi in contatto con loro e non io. Oggi 18/2 richiamo l'assistenza di Lancome e mi viene detto che il massimo che possono fare è il rimborso + un buono sconto non cumulabile da usare online, non sono in grado di mettersi in contatto con Poste e non monitorano in alcun modo le spedizioni. Nessuno può peró rimborsare la brutta esperienza per San Valentino e la pessima figura che ho fatto, il rimborso entro 14 giorni è nei "termini e condizioni" e non in chiaro quando si fa l'acquisto, se fossi stato avvisato in tempo sarei andato piuttosto in una profumeria... Sconsiglio di acquistare a chiunque dal loro ecommerce e trovo inaccettabile avere standard così bassi nel 2026 per le consegne, sono molto deluso da un marchio che dovrebbe puntare sulla qualità.

I am a 20 year customer. I just made a $156 order and Lancome texted ME the very NEXT day advertising their 10 piece free gift. I have tried emailing, calling, any way I can to ask them to honor my order or let me return my order so I can reorder with the 10 piece free gift. NO ANSWER FROM LANCOME AT ALL! Enough to make me change brands yes even after 20 years.
Ware wurde in anderem Bundesland abgegeben
Ware wurde versendet und in anderem Bundesland von DHL an Maersk übergeben. Seitdem werde ich jeden Tag vom Kundendienst seitens Rückzahlung vertröstet. Mangelhaft von vorne bis hinten. Wurde am 10.01.2026 bestellt und kurz danach versendet. Am 13.01 bekam ich dann die Nachricht zugestellt von DHL am 13.01 ins Zustellfahrzeug eingeladen und eine Minute später Zugestellt an Maersk in Dorsten. Ich wohne in Schwaben / Augsburg, das ist ungefähr 500km von mir weg. Das ist Stümperhaft und für L'Oreal eine Lachnummer. Da sollte so ein Konzern mal nachjustieren. Geld habe ich (20.01.2026)noch nicht zurück. Werde also demnächst Paypal einschalten, obwohl der Kundenservice mit vertröstet. Wenn ich die Bewertungen hier lese, dann sollten die ihren Online Handel aber besser einstellen.
Misleading advertising
I am deeply disappointed by what appears to be misleading advertising and a failure to honor promotional commitments.
On two separate occasions, I placed orders exceeding $150 based on a promotion promising a 7-piece gift set with qualifying purchases.
The gifts were missing in both delivered orders.
I contacted customer service regarding both instances. In both cases, I was told the gifts would not be sent because the items were "out of stock."
However, for several days following my purchases—and even after receiving these denials—I continued to receive marketing messages from Lancôme actively promoting the 7-piece gift set. This contradicts the claim that the stock was depleted and suggests misleading advertising.
WORST customer service
WORST customer service! Don’t ever buy on this site. WORST service ever. BOYCOTT this company!
They would not let me update details in an order or cancel it. I have never dealt with worst customer service.
Calendario dell’ avvento una delusione immensa
Ho acquistato il calendario dell’avvento per fare un regalo e dalla descrizione ( non proprio dettagliata ) mi sembrava un’ ottima scelta, tra le tante cose si parlava di un prezzo promozionale ed il valore effettivo era di 700 euro circa…alla fine ci siamo resi conto che la maggior parte dei prodotti non erano altro che campioncini prova…io ho fatto una pessima figura, e visto comunque il costo non indifferente per un calendario dell’ avvento mi aspettavo molto di più. Un consiglio se posso…siate più dettagliati quando fate queste offerte, magari ne vendete qualcuna in meno, ma sicuramente manterrete un cliente, nel mio caso ne avete persi 4 ….
I received the Absolute Skincare set
I received the Absolute Skincare set, but the cream bottle was only half full. I contacted customer service, and they said they were unable to exchange the product. When I asked to return it, they informed me that I would be charged a $5 return fee.
This is unfair—you shipped a half-filled cream and still refuse to exchange it or cover the return cost. Because of this experience, I will not purchase this product again.
I am writing this review to warn others about these products. This is not a one-time issue; the same problem also happened with the eye cream.
Appalling service. It's non existent.
Ordered an item in their Sale for my wife. I received lots of emails updating me of it's progress. I thought "How good is this!".
How wrong was I! I received an email stating that delivery couldn't be made today. No reason just that it's delayed. No update when it will be delivered or a reason why.
I then email Lancome. I get a very matter of fact reply with no apology or empathy. It stated that it's in transit and could take up to 14 days for delivery. I paid £4.95 delivery and this is what you get.
The customer service is non existent and I'll avoid this company like the plague in future. If only I had read the reviews first. This is not an isolated incident.

La mia esperienza con Lancôme è stata la peggiore incontrata con un brand di lusso.
Ho acquistato il Calendario dell'Avvento a prezzo pieno (oltre 200€) dopo che l'assistenza clienti aveva bloccato l'applicazione di un mio codice sconto del 15%, pur essendo promosso come valido "su tutti i prodotti".
Il giorno dopo, il calendario è stato messo in sconto di quasi il 30%, scendendo al prezzo di 140€. Ho perso 60 euro in meno di 48 ore.
Ma la beffa peggiore è il trattamento riservato all'ordine a prezzo pieno:
Ho pagato il prezzo massimo, ricevendo in allegato solo due campioncini "ridicoli".
Quando il calendario è andato in sconto, Lancôme ha iniziato ad aggiungere 6 travel size in regalo a tutti gli ordini.
Quindi, non solo l'azienda ha trattenuto i miei 60 euro extra, ma ha anche privato il mio ordine a prezzo pieno di regali migliori rispetto a chi ha acquistato in saldo.
Ho contestato tutto questo al Servizio Clienti (Consulente Sana), che ha risposto con una rigidità burocratica inaccettabile e
l'offerta inutile del reso, rifiutando qualsiasi gesto commerciale.
Lancôme dimostra una totale indifferenza e scorrettezza verso i clienti fedeli. La mia fiducia è minata per sempre e mi assicurerò di non ripetere mai più l'errore.
Sconsiglio vivamente l'acquisto.
Bunch of thieves
Bunch of thieves! I refunded their product and am still waiting for my refund! Even if I do ever get my refund, they charged me taxes but aren’t refunding the taxes they charged which is illegal! They also charged me $5 to return their stuff. They have lost all future business from me. I don’t give a rats butt how good a product is! If a company is shady like this, I will not spend another penny on the company. PERIOD!
THEY LIED TO ME TWICE ABOUT THEIR MISTAKES
I bought the advent calendar in early November. Upon its arrival, it wasn't there, the beauty box was but not my calendar. So, I called them. They told me they were sending another one, a week and a half later nothing. So I called again. They lied, now they have no more calendars, which means they never sent me another to begin with or stock shouldn't matter. 2 weeks later I'm waiting for refund. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WAS THEY MESSED UP THE SHIPMENT(that's why it never showed up, they forgot to ship it), THEN THEY LIED ABOUT ANOTHER ONE BEING SHIPPED AND NOW IM WAITING ON A CHECK TO BE MAILED BECAUSE THEY CANT REFUND THROUGH THE PAYMENT I HAVE ON FILE. THEY RUINED OUR CHRISTMAS TRADITION WITH OPENING AN ADVENT CALENDAR UP TO CHRISTMAS. IM SO OVER THIS COMPANY. NEVER AGAIN!!!! BEWARE
disappointing
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent Lancôme experience. I received a damaged product, and instead of addressing the issue responsibly, their customer service showed a complete lack of concern. To make matters worse, they are asking me to return it with a $5 restocking fee! This is utterly unacceptable and a disgrace for a brand of their reputation. I expected much better service and care for customers.
