Really pushed us to put a despot down even before seeing the car in person! I contacted this dealership simply to enquire about a vehicle that was advertised slightly cheaper than comparable cars in my local area. I was interested in the vehicle and asked for figures so that we could consider whether it was worth travelling to purchase it.
What followed was completely unacceptable. I received three separate phone calls involving salesman Liam and subsequently his manager, which I found increasingly pressurising, aggressive and intimidating.
Most concerning was the attitude of the manager. During the conversation, he repeatedly claimed that the dealership had spent “three days working for us”, despite the fact that we had simply requested figures for a vehicle. His manner was aggressive and repetitive, and I eventually had to terminate the call.
At no point should a customer feel pressured or intimidated simply because they have made an enquiry and subsequently decide not to proceed with a purchase.
We specifically considered this vehicle because it was being sold through a Honda main dealer, and therefore expected a professional standard of customer service. The experience was the complete opposite.
I am now making a formal complaint to Honda regarding the conduct we experienced, because I do not believe this reflects the standards customers should reasonably expect from an authorised main dealership.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with this dealership. An incredibly disappointing and shocking experience.

Went to Honda’s new location with a view to upgrading on a Honda jazz. Very surprised to find that the cars on the forecourt had no prices or info of any kind. Waited an age for assistance but no one available. Eventually had a very unsatisfactory sit down with a chap only to be told I’d need to put a deposit on a car to get one brought from another site in the group. Needless to say I wasn’t about to put a deposit on something I hadn’t even seen. All in all a disappointing experience. Guess I’ll find a car somewhere else.

Matt was helpful throughout the whole process. He organised the delivery of my vehicle and kept me up to date with the progress, etc. He was very friendly and acted professionally over the phone. He also ensured that everything was fine during the after sales

Contacted Group Sales Director 29/10/25 to discuss the vehicle. Director on holiday until 07/11/25. No acknowledgement on his return from holiday. In conversation with sales 24/11/25 discussed concern regarding no reply from Group Sales Director. 01/12/25 Still no contact from Group Sales Director.
Very disappointed at "Can't be bothered."
Way of conducting business.

From the moment I arrived to test drive the vehicle, until the final hand over, Chris Weilding and the team at Lancaster Honda went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. Even when I couldn't complete collection due to circumstances beyond their control. All in all Chris and the team were fantastic and I will be returning for another vehicle in the future
