Very disappointing experience overall. Customer service was slow, unhelpful, and at times came across as rude and unprofessional. Communication lacked clarity, and when issues came up, I felt I was given very little explanation or support.
The platform also takes a significant percentage from nanny rates, which would perhaps be easier to accept if the overall service and communication were better managed.
I was also concerned by the quality and reliability of some of the job listings on the platform, and I didn’t feel there was enough responsibility taken when problems were raised.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this service

Beware of this company, really poor service and they try to tie you into a contract long term with hidden clauses etc! Shocking behaviour we received as young parents. We were being tied into a minimum of 4 days a week too!

Advertised as being a great source of part time nannies. But it's mostly students who upon speaking to them, reveal that they can't actually do those hours. More vetting is needed. Waste of time.

From a parent perspective this is a great service. I have found the app to be incredibly helpful, and the emails and notifications are useful in jogging me to do the things I need to do. Letter through from the pension regulator - email follows from Koru that they've already sorted it! Great stuff. Not to mention our nanny is lovely and my kids love her.

I enjoy being a nanny because it allows me to play a meaningful role in a child’s growth and development while building genuine, trusting relationships with the families I support. Each day brings something new, whether it’s helping a child learn a new skill, encouraging their creativity, or simply being there to comfort and guide them. I find it incredibly rewarding to contribute to their confidence, happiness, and sense of security, knowing that my care and attention can make a positive difference in their lives.

After our trial and 2 days before I’d booked the nanny to start we were informed her DBS wasn’t processed; she hadn’t completed her first aid course or nanny training. Not the service I thought I was paying for.

Great experience throughout, we really appreciated how guided and automatic things were to make everything easy - simple message prompts, next steps, reminders, things like that - and now that we have nanny, timesheets and payments, as well. Probably not the cheapest way to do things, but feels well worth the money!

I am delighted with the nanny we found. It took some perseverance to find what we were looking for and the interview processing of selecting times / days was frustrating but I’m pleased we continued.

The whole process was simple, efficient, quick and supportive! Really happy. The family that I nanny for are wonderful, never have I been treated better and had support right there (Koru Kids), available if I ever need it!

Amazing company. It’s got all resourceful information you need to become a nanny. Helping you from first aid training to activities to do to help you become a good nanny. I love the app and how easy it is to use as it’s easy to log in shifts and it’s always have information on what to do in all possible scenarios you may face as a nanny.
