Such disgraceful service and customer service. I gave the will to exist trying to get through to customer service at Kmart Henderson, after 48 minutes waiting on the phone and after I had been refused a refund for a faulty item at Kmart St Lukes, as policy is you don't do refunds for bedding, that is faulty!!! Terrible service and a very dishonest transaction for my child who is new to flatting and buying her own things to make her home nice. Shame on you !!!
Ruined kids Easter
Ordered a trampoline a few weeks ago for 3 young boys for Easter. It has arrived today and is missing half of the parts. Lodged a complaint straight away and was told someone would call back or I can drive to a kmart (2hour trip) to get the parts. No indication on which kmart would have them. Tried calling two kmarts and it is just ringing out even though they are open to 9pm. I spent over $100 in delivery and having to run around because someone didn't do their job and check the stock before either 1/ not checking all parts from a prior return and 2/ not checking the items were in the box prior to dispatching the stock. I hope this is rectified asap- I would expect a new trampoline is delivered tomorrow given the circumstances.

I stopped shopping at kmart for years because of stock availability, every time I make an order and checkout somethings not available then I have to go back through my long list and find substitutes or just remove it. I finally shop again and I'm getting refund because stock not available!!!! omg kmart will you ever get better? I had to cancel my whole order and not buying form you for another few more years. Shein is more reliable. your losing customers.. not good at all kmart New Zealand
Faulty product
Faulty product. Wok's have non-stick coatings peeling off. Asked for replacement. They said they processed refund. No refund received. Follow up going no where. They keep saying refund issued. Check with your bank
I will never shop at kmart again
I brought a bike on line for my son who's birthday is on Monday so in 3 days.
I checked availability on line at 3 different stores all had availability so I ordered one, kmart where extremely quick to take my money but this morning I receive 2 emails from kmart one telling me my order is canceled and the other one telling me I am getting a refund that will take 3 to 5 working days to show up in my account now I called there head office 5 times to find out why I was not called about an issue with my order only to be told that it's there 2 separate systems that do this automatically as well as being told to calm down and asking more than once to have a manager call me back so I can find out at least when my refund will be in my account so i can go to the warehouse and get my son his present well because of kmarts inaccurate stock on hand that was on their nz website again all 3 stores I checked showed the item was in stock before I placed the order. All I wanted was an answer as to why I was not called when there was an issue with the on line order no.kmart just decided that they would make that decision for.me but not once did anyone put me thur to a manager or try to come up with a different solution like i said if someone from the manuka 24 hr store had just called before all of this just to tell me about the issue or too tell me when my refund would be backing my account but I guess that's how a big company likes to treat their customers . I will never shop at kmart again after this. It is the worst customer service interaction I have ever had shame on kmart you ruined a 9 year Olds birthday and I wish I could give no stars
Kids bras
I am 11 years old and have not developed very much and I wanted to buy a bra from kids section and the bras where either too BIG or too SMALL. Their bras are always dirty or broken and basically not very worth the money. DONT BUY if you are having the same experience as me!!

"Sit Up Bar" - Absolute TRASH doesn't even suction to a wooden floor. Loose fitting but that could be overlooked if it simply did it's job.

This review is for Kmart Manukau at Supa centre centre. It’s bigger low in stock and people who working seem to not know where things are. I go there for bicycle air pump iPhone charger and body soap. They show available online but they are not available in store and when asked staffs there, people told me various places, at the right end, at the left end, I couldn’t find them, go back to them, they said then they don’t have them. It’s funny to them. I go next time go to Botany one. I live in Manukau but shopping at Manukau will waste more, non production store and people don’t know what they are telling.

If i could give half a star i would. I brought things online, click and collect and within 2 hours the order had been cancelled and refunded because they had 'no stock' in all three products i wanted. Even though online it stated all three items were instock in the chosen store and in the nearby stores. I went online to try sort this as Whangarei NEVER awnser their phone. I was hung up on three times then it said 'this number wasnt in use'. Online they told me to order it all again?
I then rang the big customer service and they harped on about getting intouch with Whangarei store and the availability of this and that and the online isnt correct even though on hold it says to check availability of an item check online as its updated regularly! By then i had decided to go to the warehouse.
Wont be going back/buying from there again!

No customer assistance staff
Checked website prior to find a wall clock. Went to store to buy it, I couldn't find ANY wall clocks. Couldn't find any customer service staff after walking around entire store so went to the doorman, asked I'd he could direct me, he used his walkie talkie to ask for assistance..twice..no response..he then suggested they were probably on special and sold out...I repeated I couldn't find ANY clocks and the website did not indicate any were on sale. My tone at that point indicated my annoyance and he went woahh..woahh..checked his device and gave me information on where to find them. They were on a 1 metre section of a bottom shelf pushed to the back of the shelf. SUMMARY 1. No staff on the floor...just at the tills. 2. No response to two calls on the walkie talking...3. No initiative used to find the information without a prompt, rather than make something up.4. Poor point of sale display.
Consistently crap
Consistently crap! I ordered some bamboo drawers for my toddlers bedroom to be delivered and it turned up 3 weeks later…with 1 out of 8 drawers that actually fit. The 7 other drawers are obviously for another piece of furniture like a bedside table as they are half the size they neee to be. After going back and forth with Kmart and no outcome; they refuse to send me the 7 drawers I need to actually use the drawers! So basically I have an empty drawer frame and one drawer to use
Exchange and customer service
I wanted to exchange an item I bought as it is not working. I have my receipt and product package ready and this lady told me I can’t return it because it is not resellable?? My package was completely fine and I am clearly not responsible for selling products that don’t work. The lady did not even consider suggesting a refund. Quite disappointing and her extra grumpy tone is not lightening up the mood. Not a single hint of empathy is shown. I don’t mind if I left the store without a refund but at least be better at communicating to your costumers with respect.
Hopeless management from the top down.
1 The despatch & delivery system is seriously flawed. This is an ongoing issue. Compared to the slick operation of their main competitor in NZ, The Warehouse, this is so Mickey Mouse!
2 They make it very difficult to write a review of a product you have purchased. Again, compared to their main competitor in NZ, The Warehouse, the review system is seriously flawed, inhibiting, and totally unsatisfactory.
*I can only assume that this operation's management is seriously flawed from the very top down to middle-management level. A bunch of amateurs could run this outfit better!
New refund policy is fecked
Honestly , the customer service for a refund is so robot like its frustrating , they have a new policy if you have ordered and change your mind if it hasn't been sent out you CANT cancel the order , but you can take into a store - in my case 2 hours away from one (no care they just think i can just drive there and still return it) - now this item i have ordered has been sitting there in there system over 2 weeks now (how long is to long where its unacceptable?) and its for xmas so understandably i want to cancel it so i can get something now .. not happy with the new policy they have , either way they are getting it back they just want to waste postage on sending it to me first (which doesnt make sense but OK)
