Purchased Cordless vacuum cleaner for a christmas present last year, last month it died. Messaged Kmart as it was still under warranty, they eventually answered after sending about three emails. They agreed to refund me my money, this was the 22nd October 2025, said it would take 3 to 5 days to show up in our bank account. It is now the 4th November 2025 and still nothing. Sent them another message asking them where it is, no reply. Their customer service is shocking to say the least.

Getting real tired of being treated like a thief for having the audacity to shop there. Barcode scanning as you leave, check outs at the middle of the store, changing room attendants who won't even let you take items purchased elsewhere into the changing room. No more I'm not going back
The refund was not received
I ordered 2 items online and paid for them online. It turned out that 1 item of my order was unavailable and Kmart issued a refund for that item.
Unfortunately,I don't receive my refund after 5 business days ,trying contacting Kmart to get my overdue refund by email and online chatting ,without any response.
It's not the first time that Kmart missed their scheduled refund payment to me .
You always have to monitor your refund carefully ,other wise it may never been processed .

I had been calling their customer service and nobody answers my call today. I have been doing follow ups about my order still nobody has ever resolved the issue. Asking me to call the courier to pick up. It shouldn’t be my responsibility to call for them. It should be at your end! You are wasting my time and day! My order was supposed to be delivered last 1st October and up until now, there was no progress about my concern. I demand for order cancellation. This is too much! I am so disappointed and will never order again. Too much of inconvenience and hassle!
Cr*p food processor
Bought a 2l Anko food processor online. Assembled it, plugged it in. Nothing. Didn't work. Tried other electrical sockets. Still didn't work. Sent online complaint last week. Nothing. Spoke to customer services who was lovely but can't progress complaint unless I send a video of it not working! Phone keeps telling me the file us too big to send. Not good enough!

Today we had gone to get flash lights due to my son wanting one from the Manukau 24hour Kmart.
We had searched in the camping area but did not locate it, so we came around the corner to where the kids section of toys were. There was a young man (worker) who worked that section who had been putting away stuff.
We had asked if there were any more of the flashlights we were looking for, he in turned asked if we had a look at the camping section.
To which we replied yes, my sister was able to show him a photo and he said I can check for you, so he took the product number and found that there is one showing up in the storage room. He then said I can go check for you, can you please wait 2 minutes and I will go check.
He came back and said there is nothing however, Sylvia park is showing that there is 17 available if you want to go there.
Firstly, this young man was so lovely, polite and was very helpful. To manukau kmart please applaud this young man for being very helpful.
Worst Experience in Kmart
The worst and racist senior manager found in Kmart Centre Place's history. Poor service, trash talk, inconvenience, and false accusations occurred. I went to exchange a gift, but they refused due to some so-called "body odour". Never visit Kmart again. Bad staff as well.

Not sorting out their system glitch...returned an online order instore was informed refund will be in your account within five days...called customer service after 5 days who asked to attach the receipt and email them. Refund done after another five days. Last week same scenario happened for another of my refund online. Can you sort your issue...why customers have to wait and then attach the refund receipt instore one and email it to you. Many other retailers Warehouse, Briscoes etc do not have this crap for online returns

K mart toowoomba is the filthiest k mart I have ever been into, there was dirt grime,and bean bag balls everywhere all over the floor.It was obvious this floor had not been cleaned for ages,the staff were unfriendly and not at all helpful.
Kmart don't price all their products surprise when you get to the checkout
I am a blind/Partial Paraplegic; I was looking for some clothing in the men's department, having found what I wanted, I looked for the price. Still, it was nowhere to be found, so I looked for the same article on the stand, and there were no pricing on any of them, so I contacted the store manager and explained the there was no pricing and she said you take the article to a scanning machine on a post somewhere to get the price, I explained to her that I was blind. It would be very difficult to find the "scanner", it would be a lot simpler to have the price on each article. And all she said was We don't do that. I feel that it is discrimination because of my disabilities, and I would not know what the price is until I get to the checkout. But it was "Too Bad too sad from her. After I said that it makes it impossible for me to shop at Kmart. she was very dismissive and uncaring. I don't think she has the right attitude to be employed in the "service" industry, let alone a manager who deals with the public. It certainly degrades the Kmart image.
Poor business on kmarts part
I ordered a kids table an chairs, then I find out it ships from company now they say it ships from 3rd party , was suppose to be here on the 18th I can not get a number to call no.one I have sent emails with no answer then today they mark my order as returned I did not authorize this now in thier q&a it says I gotta wait 3 days for a. Answer they didn't wait 3 days to take my money. I have no ideal who I can contact about getting my item that was 68.00 . This is rediculas I would give kmart 0 stars if I could they are who I ordered from they should be responsible for finding my package and why it was returned.

Water kettle replaced without actual receipt
I bought an vaacum cleaner and ANKO cordless water kettle online but did not keep the invoice in my email. The metal base got eroded and bits of silver broke off into the water after each boil. It was purchased on 14 Aug 2024 so I took it to the Papanui branch to exchange. However I was told that without the copy of the receipt, it could not be done. Even after showing the staff the PayPal account and Visa transactions. The manager Sherryl was called to make a decision which I was grateful that she agreed to exchange after a lengthy conversation.

We could not find one item we were looking for, never mind not even being able to find a staff member to help! I am sure you can do better, but I would be ashamed working in your store!!! Owed hundreds of $ and still no resolution
I paid for an item and then advised it was lost in transit and would be refunded. Instead of a refund they took the money agian.Everyone I speak or chat too doesnt understand and today I spoke with someone AGAIN and was told to email everything through AGAIN. This is the third time now and in the meantime I am still out fo pocket $558.The worst experience ever and still not settled.
