From start to finish, Kristie kept me informed and Luke was great in providing updates as well as being friendly and polite when collecting and returning the wheels.
The wheels we're badly neglected and heavily damaged, but are back to a pristine condition.

Warning! Long review containing a public confession!

I had a wheel repaired by this firm. I found the prices to be very reasonable. In my case it was £108 for two areas of damage. I could not believe what good value this was! I passed my driving test in 1975 when one parked close to the kerb and used ones wheels to feel it. No probs with 100% profile crossply tyres. It is a very difficult habit to break! The repairs are invisible and the wheel has been returned to as-new condition.

That included a pickup and deliver of the wheel. This was done by Luke, a very pleasant chap indeed. He is also honest. To my shame, I would have sworn blind that I had placed a defibrillator in my boot. As I need it for my work, I decided to put it in my boot so it was with me at all times. When I next looked in the boot it was not there. Because I was so certain I had put it there, I phoned Just Wheel Repair and basically accused Luke of theft. I was shocked and ashamed to find that I had NOT placed it in my boot at all. I have felt and continue to feel absolutely awful since I have found it in my house.

Getting back to the review I have to say that anybody would be bonkers to use any other company for alloy wheel repairs. I would not hesitate to use them again.

WARNING! This is a long review, but a happy one 😁. I had a stressful day on Tuesday where not much went to plan. It started when I couldn’t find the car keys and ended with a punctured tyre in a town called Halstead in Essex. I had my 2 babies with me and was on the way to a family funeral. We didn’t make it. Instead I drove around Halstead visiting tyre shops. The 1st 2 places couldn’t help and didn’t offer much care for my situation even though I said I was late for a funeral with 2 babies in the car (You gotta try!) Then I called Just Wheel Repair and the guy was warm and friendly on the phone and offered to repair it at the least. There was hope! I must add I was proper stressing at this point. My boys were starting to get agitated strapped into their seats and I wanted to get them out but It was freezing and I’d forgotten to pack the coats!! (I’m their dad not their mum).
As I pulled up to Just Wheels an enthusiastic forewarned young lad ran out and showed me where to park. He got straight to work on jacking the car up and soon confirmed the tyre was shot. My rear tyres are huge (275) so are not kept on many shelves. He offered for me and the boys to go and sit in the warm office. I immediately felt calm again. The office was toasty and the boys (18months & 3yrs) looked intrigued by their new surroundings. I met the guy who I spoke with on the phone. His face was as kind as his voice. (Sorry I cant remember anyone’s names). The young lad came bouncing back in the office and offered to make me a cuppa and the boys a juice which was well received. The young lady running the office was great, she suggested that as they don’t have said tyre on the shelf that there might be one at a local farm which held a load of part worns. The phone guy drove off in search for me and 15 mins later called in to say he’d found one. Relief and joy. Meanwhile, the young lady chatted with my boys and gave them a tour of the garage. The whole process took 25 mins. I had already called the RAC and they had a 1 .5 hour call out time and that’s just for them to tell me I need a new tyre.
These guys at Just Wheels worked as a team with spirit, efficiency and kindness. If I had a tyre company I’d want these people working for me. The cherry on the cake? There was no charge!
We didn’t make it to the funeral which was upsetting in itself but my experience with these guys restored the equilibrium that day some what. Genuinely nice people. Great service.

Yes the wheel repair was fine, but I had insurance on the wheel and tyre, and I asked Just Wheel Repair to put a new tyre on the repaired wheel, but this involves filling out a claim form and returning it to me. Needless to say the claim form wasn’t returned, but on questioning this I was told that the form had been completed and faxed to the insurance company with a copy to me. I queried not getting a copy but didn’t get a reply. So I assume the claim form just got ignored. My conclusion is that the repairs are ok but the organisation and administration is very hit and miss.

Quality work and flexible approach to client

I have been using Just Wheel Repair for the past five years and have just had my four black alloys completely refurbished. As usual I’ve received an excellent service and the alloys look better than when I first got the car! I highly recommend them.

Thanks to our lovely pot holed roads one of my alloys got a nice bend in the rim. Decided to go for a repair as a new alloy wouldn't match the patina of the other wheels. Used google and this was the first local company that appeared so dropped them an email and got a response the same day with a quote for repair. I was given the option for collection but decided to drop it off. Really smart and professional looking building with friendly staff so felt really confident. Four days later there was a phone call to say it was all ready, offered to drop it off but decided to collect and they even fitted it for me. Highly recommended.

Great job on the wheels, they look like factory condition and given I changed from plain alloy to diamond cut and satin, very pleased.
