As an Estate Agent, it can be very hard to find Property lawyers you can work well with and with Josslyn Cooper I found that Property lawyer. Josslyn was instrumental in getting the sale of my Clients property across the line. Her communication, updates and personality were superb and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Property Lawyer for either their sale and/or purchase.

Having needed to make a complaint against a known national company and finding it extremely difficult to manage not knowing all the necessary legal formalities required I requested the help of JS LAW.
Throughout the proceedings JS Law proved to be excellent in with their advice and dealt with my claim
with such understanding and professionalism that I had no doubt that I had chosen the right company to act on my behalf. The service I received was exceptional, they pursued my case for over 3 years as
the national company involved where attempting to deny fault. During the whole time, no matter whom I spoke with I could be assured of receiving the good advice needed. Am glad to announce that due to the diligence of JS Law the my case proved to be successful.
If anyone found themselves in a similar situation I can recommend JS LAW to provide a service far in excess of what could be expected.

The worst conveyancers I have ever used
AVOID!

We were part of a three property chain - all of whom were using JS Law - We thought this would smooth the process but unfortunately did exactly the opposite - We went through 3 separate conveyancers - the main issue seemed to be a lack of hand over details to deal with staff on holiday/illness etc. We were selling an empty property so time wasn't such an issue for us - but the moment we saw there was an additional charge possible for a late exchange and completion we just knew this would be triggered! We had a scheduled completion date of 4/9/26 and could see no reason why exchange could not have been done well before this date - However we still hadn't exchanged until 3/9/26 - as our conveyancer was on holiday (Which we were not notified about) the person picking up her work was not aware they were then responsible - if we hadn't phoned the company despite being on our first holiday for many years to see what the delay was I doubt if we'd have exchanged or completed - we were told that the delay was for the redemption from our mortgage company - we offered to phone them to see what the delay was and were told there had been no request for a redemption the day before completion was due! We got all the details of who to contact and phoned your company again only to find out the person dealing with our case was unaware of this...for both our buyer and for the bottom of the chain this wait must have been very very unsettling - we have bought and sold many houses over the years and by far this was our worst experience - I know our buyers are going to complain to the Ombudsman because they were disgusted with the service - However Tayla when she was there was helpful as was Chloe who helped us get the sale over the line - Following completion we needed the redemption statement for capital gains however this was also a problem several calls later as we were told because completion had occured this could not be added to Eway - One star because we can't leave a half star review

Fab experience with Sarah Russell and then Laura Cameron and JS Law. Our buyer’s solicitors were incredibly slow but Laura and the team chased and gave us almost weekly updates, much of the time via the telephone. It was great to be able to talk to someone who also showed compassion and understanding. The WeWay system makes keeping up with actions and reading and uploading documents so much easier. In all, great service. Would recommend and use again. Thank you!

Josslyn provided timely responses and kept us up to date with the latest. There were some last minute issues that were dealt with promptly - many thanks for helping us with our move.

I have found Luvjit Kaur the best solicitor I have had. She kept us informed and communicated excellently. Even towards the end when we thought the sale would never go through and we began to loose hope she kept a steady and positive head and got us through it So I just wanted to say thank you for everything and would recommend her and JS Law anytime.
