JL continues to charge me every year using an expired VISA card. The card expired in 2015. I try to log in, but it tells me my membership has expired. There are no telephone numbers. It looks like this company is now reducing service and taking money any which way. AVOID THIS SCAMMER OF A COMPANY.
Do not use
I was unaware the my subscription would automatically renew and my account was debited by 27.99. I am now unemployed and of poor health and am unable to work. I do not get any benefits apart from Universal Credit which is a pittance each month. Because I have always worked I cannot claim other benefits like some. I emailed them four times asking for a refund explaining my predicament and heard nothing, it was only on the forth email when I said I would go to Trustpolot did they reply but only to say thst my membership has been renewed until 2027 but they had made not to renew after that. I'm disappointed that a company that people can order pretty and sentimental cards is very moneygrabbing and NOT helpful. They also don't have a telephone number so I am unable to speak with someone. I now have a years membership I don't want and they are wringing their greedy hands. I haven't mentioned the severity of my illness and life span. Didn't want to use that.

Really sad to be honest, used to love the advert calanders as do the children they were great we have had the at least 5 maybe more for many years and sent them to loads of people but as of 2025 christmas that will be the last time, we spend money on this site.
They have errors in the verification, ours worked initially and the new over zealos security swfitly blocked us and despite contacting customer support multiple times like 5 times no one was helpful.
Not exactly what you want to do be doing at Christmas, chasing up an advert calander and getting no help.
Absolute joke, unfortunately seems to now only care about the money, such a shame it went this way and sad to leave this review, but its been so rubbish, kids saw the first days 2026 calandar then that was it. Blocked and no help from customer support just ignored.

I was astonished to discover that the site does not have Passover cards.
I was astonished to discover that the site has wonderful Easter cards BUT NO PASSOVER CARDS. NOTHING. I feel this is an intentional slap in the face to Jews. I implore all thinking people to cancel their subscriptions for this reason and use other card sites.
Great product when it works, No response ever from customer help.
This company makes the most creative and beautiful cards imaginable, and is easy to use and personalize cards. A shame that their phone/tablet app does not work reliably, and in my case stopped allowing me to select cards and lost all my sendee data following an iPhone change. FAQ’s gave no sensible reasons and THEY NEVER RETURN EMAILS. You just get a screen requiring you to subscribe. News, folks: I DID! I am currently disputing the charge and requesting reimbursement via my credit card, and, regrettably will seek out an alternate e-card vendor.
I love this e-card service!
I love this service - the designs are really enchanting and there are always new ones to use. I like that it can be more than just sending an e-card because you can add gift cards to make the sentiment more meaningful. I can see when the recipient opens the email, and that the recipient can respond with a message and nice design, too. I've used this service for several years now.
Worst Company - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY
Worst Company. NEVER NEVER NEVER subscribe. You can never cancel and fraud charges show up randomly. Then you can never dispute with the company because there is no live customer service. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

I cancelled recurring billing and yet they still took my money. How can they do that.
They said they would refund me £36.00 but it would take 3 to 5 working days. It's now been 7 and no refund and now they are ignoring my emails. Terrible company. No customer service whatsoever.
2025 Advent disappointing
Too busy outside, so it was hard to experience everything and it all appeared overcrowded but with no quality this year. The biggest negative experience was inside the cosy cottage. No daily presents, no train set, less games and puzzles that were interesting. Please bring back solitaire PLEASE.

I received a online card from Jacquie Lawson. To access it, I had to go to the website find "Pick up card" and then enter a security code. That is completely ridiculous. When I send a card, I don't want the recipient to have to go through a scavenger hunt through a huge amount of advertising to find "Pick up card" and then have to enter a security code. There is no way to contact this company which is why I am entering my complaint here. I just deleted my auto renewal. No more Jacquie Lawson for me.
Membership Ripoff
I have been a member of Jacquie Lawson for many years and paid $40 for membership not due to expire until Jan 2027. Now, I cannot log in - not even to change my password. You can never speak to a human being, just some robot referring you to their ubiquitous website. I have no option to cancel - too bad, because I loved the cards. I expected better of a UK company - aren't I naive!

My experience with this company is atrocious. Getting in touch is impossible. I love the e cards but not worth the hassle of very poor customer service.

I was unable to open the card received. Both myself and the sender emailed to complain, but they did not reply to either. No phone number to complain neither,, so avoid.

This company should be stopped helping themselves to peoples money. They have now taken £24 supposably for a yearly subscription, when their subscription is now £27 its just legalised theft and i have now advised my bank not to let them have another penny.
I have tried to contact this company so many times but no one gets back to you. I had the same fight last year and thought i had stopped them from taking money from my account but it still continues.
I don't know if Jacquie Lawson is around anymore, and her company is run by others but really they need to sit up and smell the coffee because they won't have anyone signing up with them if they continue running their business the way they are, and taking money as they feel like it.
If Jacquie Lawson sees this post please feel free to come back to me, but I won't hold my breath

Do not sign up for this service! I paid a one year subscription 14 November 2025. When I attempted to send a card, the website said I had no membership. I have submitted multiple requests to customer service. They reply with the same information every time - requesting lengthy details about my account and the cards I sent when I initially subscribed. Then they say I do have a paid account and to follow steps in FAQ. I am able to log into the website but the website still says I do not have a paid account. It's a vicious cycle!

Apparently my $6 a month was set to auto renew. Thy charged my credit card $6 the next month and sent an email that I was on auto renewal. I logged in and said my membership had expired and there is no option to turn off auto renewal.
They have no telephone support. I used email, Facebook and Instagram to try and contact them. Only silence.
Company is total scam.
Changed from easy to use site to an inaccessible,badly designed unuserfriendly site with out of date info
Renewed membership November 2025 after about 15 years of using an easy to access and user friendly site.
Since then I have to renew password every time I need to log on, sometimes my unchanged email address is not recognised, so logging on is a struggle every time. Furthermore, on the app I cannot find a way of accessing my address book and when checking my card history the list is incomplete. Apparently no Christmas cards have been viewed, which is definitely not true, though it means I cannot see which people really have not viewed their card.
Sadly I seem to have wasted my money on 2 more years worth of membership.
Customer service is non existent, always being directed to FAQ, which are not relevant to my problems.
