NOT HAPPY WITH BLUE MOUNTAIN SUBSCRIPTION

I have had a subscription for over a year and all of a sudden, I have had several people who have not been able to open their ecards I send them, Recently, an option to accept cookies has come up before someone can view the card. When they do not accept the cookies, they are unable to view the card. My daughter also has a subscription to Blue Mountain and has also had this problem. When I spoke to their customer service representative she said all websites have this and she was very flip, bordering on rude. I told her I had never had a problem with people getting the cookie option before and that I had not seen it coming up before. I also told her the people having trouble opening their cards do not accept cookies and have been receiving my ecards since I started my subscription with Blue Mountain. I will not be renewing my subscription nor will I recommend the site to others. There is no reason that any person receiving an ecard from me should have to accept any cookies from their site. They definitely need work on their customer service representation.

FYI, I Googled about every website using this cookie option as the CSR said and below is the reply I received:

I ordered an e-card with a gift…

I ordered an e-card with a gift certificate or gift card and the card was sent along with the gift card and then it disappeared a day later. It was a birthday card and shouldn't have disappeared along with the gift card disappearing. The person I sent it to can't look at the card again it says it is gone along with the gift card. Bad company. Do not use. Make sure you cancel your membership.

7 day free trial scam

Signed up for a 7 day free trial, with the guise of a 7.99 a month fornthr service.

After I signed up I have been charged for a whole year subscription to Jackie Wilson & Blue mountain. Which is did not agree to

Avoid Blue Mountain

After one week free trial they go ahead and bill you for the full year, and then auto-bill you after that. As a senior, I find tech hard enough without getting scammed . I do not recommend.

This company is deceitful

This company is deceitful - they say that there is a one-week free trial but after one day they had taken a year's subscription. That is surely illegal. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

They are no longer giving value for…

They are no longer giving value for money. Their web servers are annoyingly slow! They're so few updates, they're trading on past success, not enough new ideas. This company has gone stale & doesn't deserve my custom. I shall be moving to a better platform when my sub expires!

Blue Mountain is deceptive

Blue Mountain is deceptive. They tell you that your subscription is expired when it is NOT supposed to automatically renew. After sending a email stating this, they still renew it. When you contact them, they pass the buck and blame it on Google.
Do not trust this company. I wish I had seen all their bad reviews before subscribing. Lesson learned! I am disputing the renewal charge. Do better Blue Mountain!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware . I do not recommend this company due to poor customer service and their auto renewal policy. They do not reply to emails when you want to cancel your membership and/ or request a refund . They send you an email one day reminding you about your renewal and next day bill your credit card they keep on file . I ended up phoning to cancel my membership a few days after auto renewal and was told “ their policy says no refunds .” I requested my membership be cancelled and agreed to having all my person information , including credit card number wiped from their system . I will never deal with Blue Mountain ecards again !!

This is a scam

This is a scam. Please read your loan agreement! They charge you interest per day and you end up paying double the amount of your loan. I would rate this a zero if I could. Please warn others!

Terrible company

Bad experience with attempting a free trial and being charged for a full year. Technically I pressed the wrong button, but the website made it really difficult to figure out. A better company would have been clearer and not resorted to what is essentially trickery. At least I was able to turn off the auto-renew.

Vampire Subscription

They informed me that I had been auto-renewed after the fact and then refused to give a refund. I had not used their service for years. Owned by American Greetings Corporation and not run ethically.

Hugely Disappointed

Actually 1 star is too many. I feel ripped off. I signed up for a month subscription which didn't register. When I went in the site to fix it I accidentally agreed to a further years subscription. When I wrote to explain the error I received a standard letter referring me to their terms stating no refund. I wrote a second time to explain the error and received the same response. What should have been a joyful experience has become a distressing one. I wish I had never started.it has left a bad taste

I've Has Good Luck With This Service

I've had ab account for several years. Obviously I can't speak for other user's experiences but I've had great performance from the website; have never tried the phone app.

Lot's of ecards. I've sent all sorts cards for birthdays, graduations, thank you - even condolences. Annual fee is reasonable for unlimited use and the cards always arrive on time.

Some of their personalized animated "Mash Ups" use name brand celebrities and are very clever. The Idina Menzel (of "Wicked" and "Frozen" fame) personalized birthday card based on "Fame" is amazing.

Unless something changes for the worse I plan to keep using them

Never had a problem

I am surprised by the other reviews. Several years now and never had problems. Do a yearly subscription and send several cards a year for birthdays. In the process of trying out doing Christmas cards since we are not in the country to mail cards. I keep a personal list of which cards I send to whom and just make sure I don't send the same one to someone in the same household. I don't imagine I will run out even if they don't add more. Sure they can be corny, but that works for my crowd.

Once again, BlueMountain isn’t working

Tonight, I’d give them a zero if it were possible. I’ve tried multiple times to send an E greeting and the system will not preview it nor will it send it. Consequently, you do the card over and over and it won’t send it. I tried to send a note to the company asking why this is a continuing problem and it’s not accepting the submission on their own web platform. It’s time to cancel my subscription with them. I’ve had other issues that I wasn’t happy with the resolution but tonight I am done with them. It’s too bad their cards are cute but if this is the kind of service that paying customers get this is unacceptable. Please look elsewhere for your cards.

Site continually crashes and loses changes made on account.

Blue Mountain site continually crashes.
I have used it over the past 3 days, occasionally managing to send a card but mainly finding that the site has crashed, asking me to login again, having lost the changes I made, or the new contacts I had added. A very challenging experience.
I emailed the customer service but received no response.
Blue Mountain, you need to improve your customer experience!

Very poor support..

Very poor support... no support, never got answers, I wanted a trial, and suddenly I bought the year subscription. This is like cheating on me. Better don't try it

Joined the Free Trial on Bluemountain…

Joined the Free Trial on Bluemountain and sent my first ecard successfully. After a day or two I started to check on the terms and conditions of the free trial but couldn't find any details at all either on the website or my introductory email. This made me a little suspicious so I delved a bit deeper in order to cancel my trial. Under UK consumer law you have 14 days in which to cancel and eventually found by logging in and going to 'my account' then 'manage membership' I was able to cancel my auto renew and membership. It seemed to take ages once I pressed the cancel button and eventually I came out of the site. After a couple of minutes I logged back in and checked and my membership had been cancelled. By my limited experience with them the company seems genuine but thay should make the terms and conditions of their free trial more transparent.
