Very reputable company
Very easy to deal with. No complicated forms and having experienced making a claim in the past, what I thought would be a difficult process turned out to be very straightforward. I have used this company for several years, on occasions when I have needed to hire a car whilst on holiday. Highly recommended.

PLEASE STOP THE EMAILS!!
Personally I havent used the insurance for car hire yet as I don't need it until next week but I did email the helpline at info@insurance etc etc (no humans to talk to) to query something about the policy. Inbetween 15.31 and 16.30 today I've had 10 emails telling me exactly the same thing in answer to my question. The same email is still coming even though I've replied and told them I have the answer. I will review them very favourably next week after using the actual product but would dearly love the (identical) emails to stop arriving every 5 or so minutes. In the time it's taken to write this review I've received another 2 identical emails.

Used this company for years
I have been with this company for about 8 years before it came under Swinton I have never needed to use the cover (touch wood) in a car hire issue I purely by it for the satisfaction of knowing I have the extra cover I need without paying hundreds ££at the car rental desk I have used Swinton for my own insurance over the years and find them friendly when I do need to call them and not speak to a Robot so 10/10 Swinton

Sadly, I had to make a claim on my first policy, but I was told not to worry and it would be taken care of.
And it was sorted out very quickly. I've been using Insurance4carhire for quite a few years now and would not hire a car on holiday without a policy. It gives full peace of mind, from a company you can trust.

Peace of mind
Was recommended this insurance by a friend as car hire people charge extortionate price for extra insurance, especially in Italy. It is a great alternative and I have bought it ever since. I'm lucky that I haven't had to use it yet, but it's good to know it's there, in case I do. I find some drivers abroad erratic and speedsters, especially on Italian Motorways and narrow mountain roads they are familiar with.
