Another faultless car hire in Croatia due to only having a debit card and they didn't take any deposit 😊 although first car hire company that's told me the car had to be brought back clean or pay €30 euros but that's not indigos fault.

Sam and all the team at Indigo are fantastic to deal with. Very helpful, responsive, and always help get a great deal sorted.

Super friendly and efficient staff, simple booking process

I booked a car through Indigo Car Hire in August 2026. During the booking process, I was asked to pay £20 over the phone. I was clearly told that this was a rental part prepayment and that the £20 would be deducted from the final amount when I collected the car.
That did not happen.
When I collected the vehicle, the full amount was charged and the £20 was not deducted. I have proof of the payment, which clearly shows “Rental Part Prepayment”.
After returning from my holiday, I contacted Indigo Car Hire to raise the issue. Instead of simply addressing the missing £20, I felt that I was being questioned about why I had not contacted them immediately while I was away.
For me, this is not acceptable. I paid £20 on the clear understanding that it would be credited towards the rental, and it was not.
The whole experience felt misleading and, frankly, like a scam.
I would not book with Indigo Car Hire again. In my case, the actual vehicle was supplied by Enterprise, so I would strongly prefer to book directly with Enterprise next time rather than use Indigo as an intermediary.

Take replied very quickly and told me all I HAD to know re pick ups and costs etc. All been very efficient and sorted without any hitches. Great service- yet again.Thanks guys.x

Sam was a superb customer agent. He really knew his job so well and I was so taken aback by the deal I got renting a car for Cape Town .
Most rentals now require credit card which I don’t have. Only a debit - but he fixed me up with a car company that accepts debit. Very grateful.

I requested an offer on a Sunday night to rent a car for 9 days. Their reply and offer came in less than 12 hours from my first contact and their offer was very good with full coverage. Matt Carter, the employee that contacted me and closed the deal with, was very helpful, polite and fast in responses. So far my experience my Indigo Car hire is excellent. They inspire confidence and trust. I'm looking forward to my car renting and my vacations.

Extremely responsive, cars booked in minutes at best in class rates without the usual hassle of doing it directly. They manage to easily get cars booked on debit card as well, which is usually very hard to do in Europe.

I would heartily recommend Indigo Car Hire. I needed a larger car than the one we own, to take some teenagers on a trip. I was quite an annoying customer in that the dates kept changing due to busy schedules, unexpected school commitments, etc. and in the end I even cancelled, after I was able to borrow a car from a friend. However, throughout the process, whether I dealt with Jake, Matt, Louis or Cherie, I was only met with the friendliest of service - prompt, whichever time I contacted them, very helpful, and always searching for the best deal for me. Next time I need to hire a car, I will definitely be using Indigo.
