Be very cautious when dealing with iFit memberships. Their system can be confusing, with duplicate charges, unexpected renewals, and difficulties accessing existing accounts. Refunds are refused even when issues are clearly caused by their own errors, and customer service offers little help other than sending you to paid arbitration.
I’ve completely lost trust in the company — make sure to double-check your billing and cancel renewals early to avoid being charged for services you didn’t agree to. Also watch out for ‘End of membership’ where you can’t access accounts without setting up new ones
Workouts are also pretty mundane and don’t renew or have new ones for ages
Update re response below - I havnt received anything further from yourselves other than your final comments at attribution. Happy to talk through the concerns however complaints have been ongoing since the summer to which i am exhausted from and still £340 out of pocket

Really poor service
Really poor service, treadmill has been out of action more than working so far this year, same issue (Nordic track treadmill-stops working mid work out)
Customer service team really poor, they are telling me an engineer called last Friday and left a voice mail, I never received any calls or voicemails, so they also don’t tell the truth.
I would advise that you do not buy any products from a company that partners with these guys.

Buyer beware.
We are both 70 plus, keen cyclists and we wanted an exercise bike to keep us going through the winter. We purchased a Nordic Track (iFit) bike through an excellent retailer, but the problems with iFit started as soon as we put the bike together. It was quickly apparent that the seat post could not be connected because the knob could not be screwed in.
Following phone calls, emails and videos from us, the iFit Customer Service team decided that the seat post itself needed to be replaced, despite us having queried the fact that there was no spring mechanism in the seat post knob.
Fast forward several weeks and after having been repeatedly told that the seat post was out of stock, with no timescale for when it might be available, we were sent a video showing what the seat post knob looked like and how it attached to the seat post. It was clear very quickly that our seat post knob was lacking the spring mechanism that we had identified in the first place.
So we suggested that a replacement seat post knob be sent to us. Very logical you might think.
That too was out of stock, with no timescale for when one might be available.
We had indicated that we would be seeking a refund. At no time did iFit suggest replacing the whole bike. It was left to our original retailer to ask that question. When he did and was told that would be possible, we asked what we thought was another very logical question. Why not just take the seat post knob from another bike and send us that, which would save time all round and considerable expense for iFit?
Seemingly it wasn't possible to send us a seat post knob, probably at a cost of £20, which we could fix to the bike we had already assembled. iFit could only send us a complete bike, which we would have to stay at home on an agreed date to take delivery of; spend time assembling once again and have a bike taken away that couldn't be used because of a small missing part that they could have sent to us. You couldn't make this up.
But it doesn't end there. We reluctantly accepted iFit's only solution to the problem of their making, provided the replacement bike was going to be delivered at the same time the faulty one was being collected. That wasn't possible said iFit. Cue our request for a refund.
In summary, this is a perfect example of how to take a minor customer service problem; deal with it in such a poor way, including ignoring queries/suggestions from the customer and find ways of turning it into a complete PR disaster. But iFit made it quite clear they didn't care, either in the UK or through their Head Office in the USA.
I spent a large part of my career in advising companies how to win at customer service. It really isn't that difficult........ unless you happen to be iFit.
Update 29 Oct 2025. See the comedy reply from iFit, which just compounds everything that went before. Presumably they've looked at the 1 star review, selected their generic response for 1 star reviews and not bothered to read to the bottom. We didn't take the replacement bike, because they wouldn't deliver it at the same time as taking the faulty one away. We had a refund. Hopeless!
Update 30 Oct 2025. It's amazing how iFit can't locate a spare part for their equipment in several weeks but can reply to negative feedback in 24 hours. iFit read the edited review, which didn't remove anything from the original, then they completely re-wrote the reply. Maybe if they had read the initial review, they might have sent an appropriate reply in the first place.
Maybe if they had any real interest in customer satisfaction, they would treat this as more than just a box ticking exercise. With 1 star reviews for them being the norm, their repeated platitudes on here serve no purpose whatsoever.

Avoid ifit run machines at all costs...
If you have a nordictrack thats running ifit software (i.e. a treadmill). disconnect it from wifi immediately if its running ifit software as ifit are notorious for pushing dodgy firmware updates that will eventually brick and render the machine junk. Its common to happen once machine it out of warranty and they will claim parts etc no longer available (our £1000 treadmill was only 5 years old), now its dead and destined for the dump!

IFIT Did Not Renew My Membership
I have been a customer for over 5 years. IFIT cancelled my subscription and would not renew it at the monthly rate I was paying. They were more interested in upselling at a much higher rate. IFIT has lost my long term business.

Shocking support
Shocking. Do not buy their NordicTrack products (yes they are part of the same Group) - no after sales support, if it breaks out of warranty you're stuffed. I bought their Commercial X32i product which despite the commercial name tag stopped working just outside warranty. "We can no longer get that part have you tried ebay" was as helpful as they got. It wasn't old!!!!

I used to love this subscription for my treadmill. Now for me to get the same experience I had 6 months ago where I paid $144 a year for, I have to upgrade and pay almost $400 a year. That's more than what I pay for my Gym Membership. Unacceptable!!! Considering canceling the whole mess. Spending 30 minutes trying to find something that I don't have to upgrade makes me just want to go to the gym and get rid of this Nordic Track.

J’ai contacté le SAV pour un souci sur mon tapis de course Nordictrack T23.0 (programme défectueux)
Après plusieurs mails et appels téléphoniques infructueux, la seule réponse qu’ils m’ont fournie est de remplacer le tapis puisque ce modèle ne se fait plus.

Frustration and dissatisfaction! It continually doesn’t work and despite paying for a family membership only my husband works and I continually get asked to sign up and pay! Continually ruins my workout schedule - bought the Nordic Track with iFit, as with work I find it hard to find time to get to a gym. Completely regret it! Waste of money!

iFit has to have one of the worst product offerings of any company I have ever dealt with - both in terms of software and hardware.
The concept is brilliant but the reality is woeful.
Nothing works as it should and their support is dreadful. I just sent a lenghty email outlining a raft of problems I've endured for three years now - and reported many times.
I've just been informed by email reply that they no longer accept support requests via email but offer three "convenient" methods of support - phone, live chat or text messaging. The all operate in daylight hours in the USA but I live in Australia so unless I call them in the middle of my night, I have no support option avaliable to me.

I-Fit/Nordic Track treadmills are rubbish
Purchased a Nordic Track treadmill from Revel Sport 18 months. Now onto my 2nd warranty claim which has been rejected by I-Fit. No chance of using the treadmill in manual mode. Treadmill kept freezing until now when the electronic screen no longer works and is blank/no power. Fan on and cannot be turned off so there is power to the treadmill.
I-Fit has rejected the warranty claim stating that we need to pay for the labour component to rectify the blank screen.
Absolutely terrible product - $2,000 treadmill that lasted not even 18 months.
Avoid purchasing a Nordic Track treadmill with I-Fit software. The worst product and worst customer service I have encountered.
Next step for me is ACCC to put in a formal complaint against the company as they are breaching my consumer law rights.

Your subscription is all that matters
$2,000+ treadmill, and the only thing NordicTrack/iFit cares about is selling you a subscription. Constant iFit subscription prompts are everywhere when trying to use the treadmill. You can't escape it. Their “customer service” is laughably tone-deaf. They even criticized me for contacting both iFit (parent company) and NordicTrack when it’s nearly impossible to reach a real person. Chat, phone, and email are basically useless; the fastest response I got? Facebook Messenger, which isn’t even listed as a contact option.
Oh, and if you want trackable stats, workouts completed, or any progress tracking? That only shows up if you purchase iFit — news flash, your fitness watch or phone already does that for free. The purchase of a $2000 treadmill isn't good enough, they need to be able to milk their customer for more money yearly.
If you just want to run, don’t buy their treadmills. They're not the company they were in the early 2000's.

terribly slow to start
The components are good. excellent motor. But each time you turn on the device (an x22i in my case), it takes about 15 mn to download firmware updates. Also, it requires a full reboot every two weeks, which needs to be performed by 2 people and takes about an hour. Bottomline : if they could make it 100% manual (no updates, no firmware), it would be a great treadmill. Currently, however: HUGE mess.

Great, as long as you are a member!
Quite simply, years ago, I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill that came with iFit pre-installed and a trial membership. I thought it was pretty cool, so I kept it until... I couldn't afford it and thought it was not worth the money. So, I canceled my membership and thought that was that. Not so fast. Evidently, iFit is so tightly wound into the computer of the Nordic Track treadmill that I CONSTANTLY have to reboot, tell the computer I do not want to use iFit, and it can take up to 30 minutes to allow me to use my treadmill manually. IT IS HORRIBLY FRUSTRATING, time-consuming, and ANNOYING. I just wanted to jump on my treadmill for a quickie... but I do not have the time to restart everything! NEVER buy a treadmill with iFit. It OWNS you!

£3,400 Wasted on a Faulty Treadmill and Zero Support
I purchased a NordicTrack treadmill for £2,599 and within 18 months it became a catalogue of faults – broken deck, failed motor, defective console – costing me an additional £801 in repairs. iFIT’s customer service has been appalling: unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to acknowledge that the product was substandard. They refused to offer even the most basic level of support such as a repair, replacement, service, or part exchange.
Their warranty process is deliberately unclear, and when challenged, they simply repeat “out of warranty” without addressing the actual issues. The customer service is nothing short of diabolical – every interaction felt like being fobbed off rather than helped.
This is not what you expect from a company claiming to pride itself on quality. I now join the thousands of other dissatisfied customers on Trustpilot. In my professional opinion, this brand cannot be trusted to stand by its products or support its customers. Avoid at all costs.
