Hill's lack of communication and poor customer service
We are extremely disappointed with Hill’s handling of an ongoing metallic sill noise issue at our flat in Cambridge. First reported in February 2025, the problem remains unresolved despite numerous follow-ups and a formal complaint.
Hill previously claimed the works were completed and closed the case, but the issue persisted. Communication has been consistently poor, with repeated emails required to obtain updates and no clear timeline for a permanent solution.
There also appears to be a serious lack of communication between Hill and the contractors they hire. The providers attending to inspect or carry out works do not seem to understand the actual issue because Hill's poor communication, resulting in ineffective interventions and further delays.
The lack of accountability and coordination is extremely frustrating, especially as the rainy season approaches and the noise threatens our comfort and sleep once again.
Based on our experience, Hill’s aftercare service and communication on this issue have been deeply disappointing.

Excellent Customer Service at Marleigh Park
I’ve lived at Marleigh Park Cambridge (CB5) for almost two years now, and I must say the customer service provided by Hill Residential has been excellent—among the best in the UK. Since moving into my new home, Georgia Philips and Sarah Heather have dealt with all minor issues quickly and professionally, and Siana Leigh has been especially helpful in arranging the end-of-two-year warranty snagging appointments. I absolutely love it. You must buy a new home with Hill Residential!

I can’t recommend Andy highly enough. From the moment he arrived, he was so friendly, welcoming and had such a lovely, positive attitude — he was smiling, jolly and it genuinely felt like having someone helpful and caring in the home. We had some repairs that was needed to our SO property, Alan arrived on time and was well equipped for all the repairs that was needed to our property. Very polite and was great with our 2 dogs in the property, cleaned up after himself and left the works area clean and tidy.
