The gift basket looked nice and got here on time. However, I wish a couple of the ingredients had been a little more elevated like they were in the pictures. For example, the beef jerky was Jack Link’s brand which I can buy at the gas station. Also, I did not receive the actual basket I ordered with a handle. However, overall was OK.

Sent the Abundant Fruit Basket and Cookies as sympathy gift. I was very pleased with the entire experience. The basket arrived on time (in snow storm), was beautifully arranged, with a generous assortment of fresh, high-quality fruit. The recipient was delighted with the assortment, packaging and taste! This entire process easy. I would definitely recommend this company and will use it again in the future. Thanks!

Well, the main problem i have is, I live in the US and its hard to find Canadian sites to order from and be delivered to in Canada but paying with a US card. I was happy to see Hazelton's does this!! The selection of goods you have is great too! I was able to find the perfect gift for my friend up there!! Delivery was on time too!!

I love the fact that there's an option to customize your packages (i.e., what items to include in a basket). The shipping and delivery were flawless and on time!

I placed an order from South Africa. Website was easy to navigate. Feedback was excellent and order was delivered on time.

Ordering from NZ was easy and outcome was great. Got a bit confused about a message though re whether it was going to be delivered to their door as ordered or if they had to pick up in Whistler, otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating

After trying two times with Harry & David and having been failed two times, Hazelton's got what I ordered to the recipient within seven days -on New Year's Eve - during a busy holiday season! This was enough to warrant a five-star rating!

Online ordering and payment is smooth, lots of options to choose from. Delivery process with status details and last point picture. I knew weather was cold and snow...but delivery on time. With warmest thank you.

Great website to easily shop and select additional items. The package was packed well and presented beautifully. Email communication was good keeping me updated on the parcel.

We have used Hazelton’s for corporate gifting in prior years without issue, which made this year’s experience particularly shocking.

This order contained multiple serious failures that reflect a complete breakdown in quality control and customer accountability:

Greeting cards were incorrect – every recipient received a card that literally said “same as above.” This was deeply embarrassing for our organization and defeats the entire purpose of corporate gifting.

High-value items were missing with no notice or refund – seven globe decanters and mustard items were paid for but never delivered. No substitutions, no communication, no proactive refund.

Unapproved, low-quality substitutions – premium items were replaced with visibly cheap grocery-store alternatives (e.g., Doritos, Breton/Vinta crackers). These substitutions were neither comparable in quality nor value and significantly undermined the presentation.

No transparency or accountability afterward – when we raised these issues, customer service relied entirely on terms and conditions to justify the outcome, including stating that entire gift contents may differ and that substitutions do not warrant refunds.

Corporate gifting exists to make a strong impression. Charging premium prices while delivering low-end substitutes and missing items — without communication — is not acceptable for business clients.

Mistakes can happen. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, there was no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation or acknowledge the impact on our business relationships.

I would strongly caution other businesses considering Hazelton’s for corporate or client-facing gifting. The lack of quality control, transparency, and accountability makes them a high-risk choice for organizations where reputation and presentation matter. Based on this experience, we will not be using Hazelton’s again.

The quality of the delivered fruit was great. But it took too long to get there.

The company staff who talked with me were patient with me and very helpful. When I contacted Hazelton I was on the verge of giving up. I was trying to buy and have delivered a box of chocolates for a friend in Canada. I was pleased with the gift choices and I was able find a gift I could afford. It was deivered the next day to my friend's door and she was surprised and very happy! I will be ordering again in 2026.

Poor communication did not deliver my basket by Xmas as expected with no communication that it was not delivered
Despite correct address given has not been delivered and now want to charge me again for delivery. The additional charge is nearly half what the basket is worth. Very poor and disappointing service given the gift was for my son at Xmas and he is on the other side of the world! Would not use again

The basket and its contents were really great. The only downside was the carrier. The first time I tried to order, the carrier damaged my gift and the second time the delivery was delayed.
