Aside from the additional flowers sent everything in the gift box was an alternative. Most inappropriate was to send alcoholic truffles instead of non alcoholic ones. A coffee press instead of a teapot (an alternative teapot would be reasonable) and cinnamon instead of breakfast tea, added to a total mismash that took all meaning from my gift. In response to my 'valued' feedback the T&Cs were recited along with saying it was rare for everything to be an alternative. Despite initially inferring some recompense for the truffles the standard lines returned. At the least, sending a new box of non alcoholic truffles or chocolate would have been welcomed.

If I could give this zero I would. Didn't deliver package and charging obscene amount for an attempt at delivery. The whole thing is a scam, avoid at all costs.

The gift arrived on time on a very busy St. Valentine's day (2026). The Nuts and Dried Fruit arrangement on a ceramic display tray was pleasing to my wife and can very much be utilised for a number of other things since the "big day" is now past. Very budget friendly, healthy and memorable her.

It was very easy to add on to the baskets and my family was very appreciative of the lovely gift

I ordered a gift basket and received a box that’s completely different than what I expected. This was so disappointing. None of the items were in the image that was advertised. This is misleading and false marketing.

The whole process was very smooth and well-managed. I accidentally selected the wrong payment method, but they kindly guided me through correcting it. The gift arrived right on time and my son absolutely loved the items included.

This review is not so much based on the product but how the business elects to ship through third party couriers such as OnTrac. A quick search would reveal that not a single positive review has ever been given to this courier yet they still utilize them. Having a small window of 02 days, I had a package sent to the hotel where my wife was staying. Hazeltons allowed me to select next day shipping even though I knew it most likely would be the following day (which would have been fine). Utilizing OnTrac’s tracker, I saw the estimated date of delivery was going to be on the second day of the 2 day window, which again was fine. That second day came around and the tracking changed to “out for delivery” in the morning. The whole day went by until almost 9pm when the status was changed to “unable to deliver do to business closed”. Obviously this is a lie since the delivery address is a 24hour staffed hotel in downtown San Francisco, but lying seems to be common from OnTrac. Eventually the package did get delivered the following evening, or so the update claims, yet by that time my wife was no longer there to receive it. You may argue that this review is unjustified to be giving to Hazeltons but again, if you are a company as large as this and you elect to use subpar means to get your product onto the hands of your customers, that burden ultimately falls on you.

As usual the service was excellent

I was very happy to discover the service as I like to send gifts to my Canadian friends and family even though I live in the US. I’ve tried other services, but I found this one to be very timely and to offer a nice selection of gifts. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

The only problem was it didn’t arrive at the time I requested but the items were extraordinary

I placed an order to arrive the day before Valentine's Day, but not only was it late, it didn't even arrive before Valentine's Day. The website showed no tracking for the delivery, and customer service was only reachable by Chat. The customer service rep couldn't give me any info on the package other than it has a shipping label. I then asked for a refund and they said they couldn't give a refund because the package was late. RIDICULOUS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Terrible experience. I paid quite a good amount of money for a very bad service. How come Trustpilot summarises this as 4.2? Don't be fooled look at the whole distribution, 74% give one star and still a lot in January 2026. My parcel didn't arrive or was stollen, no photo proof of delivery from Canpar (1.1 star on Trustpilot) and no real concern from Hazelton's .... don't care! Basically.....so run away from Hazelton's
