Great selection of baskets, love the add on choices. Easy to navigate website and easy tracking system. Photo taken of delivered basket. Substitutions were of high quality. Would highly recommend.

TERRIBLE.. do not use! They use a third party delivery service..NEVER received my item..they attempted to deliver without notification and the receiver of the gift was not home... Unable to reach customer service..for 24 hours..
Never received a refund or a credit of any kind and basically forfeited 70.00 ..

UK to Vancouver!
I was ordering from England, UK and this was easy! The payment side was somewhat farcical - took an hour! Then the money wouldnt go through as it was a weekend. The gift arrived a day late because of late payment. However, it did arrive gorgeously wrapped in cellophane and bow! The recipiant was very impressed!! The chocolates could have been better secured though as they were altogether in one box with no separation between them. I was informed they were delicious though! I would certainly use Hazelton's again and would 100% recommend them to others.

Website well laid out with the products. I did not like that I ordered a basket you advertised with Stella beer and could only get whatever beer was in stock at the time. When I inquired about requesting that beer for the basket you could not do it.

What a wonderful way to give a gift! I needed to send a gift and the usual premade gift baskets all had something that didn't apply to my needs. Then I stumbled on Hazelton's and had so much fun picking everything from the basket itself to the goodies to the balloon to the card! The recipient was so happy and said that it was one fancy basket! I will for sure use Hazelton's next time I need to send a gift!

I recently sent my son a housewarming gift from Hazelton.s While the shampagne was exellent they found the, Bruges ,chocolates to be simply inedible
We reached out to their customer support who kept repeating ,customers are not eligible for compensation solely due of differerenses in personel tast of preference?
We tried to clarify that this was beyond a personal taste since everyone who tasted the chocolates said they were disgusting-they could not even finish a single one.So:disgusting Bruges chocolates and ineffective customer support.Would suggest going elsewhere if possible. Icertainly will after this debacle,the second time,and i have been using their products for years

I live in the UK and I wanted a gift for my brother’s 80 birthday. I found Hazelton on line and saw a perfect present for him, a fruit cake and whisky. I could pick the right day for delivery which was great. My brother was delighted with his gift.

I ordered a gift basket from Hazelton's…
I ordered a gift basket from Hazelton's that was supposed to include a bottle of wine. When the gift arrived, the wine was missing.
After contacting customer service, I was told their system had not charged me for the wine, which is why it was not included. While mistakes happen, I would have happily paid for the wine once the issue was identified. Instead, I was told I would need to place a completely new order and pay another delivery fee and service charge just to receive the missing item.
What made the experience even worse was the customer service. I waited approximately 20 minutes to speak with a manager, hoping they would help resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the manager showed little interest in finding a reasonable solution. The attitude I received made it seem as though customer satisfaction and retaining business were not priorities.
The issue was caused by Hazelton's ordering system, yet the proposed solution was for me to absorb additional costs. There was no accountability, no effort to make things right, and no appreciation for the inconvenience caused.
A gift basket is meant to create a positive experience for both the sender and recipient. Instead, this turned into a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. Based on this experience, I would not order from Hazelton's again and would not recommend them to others.
Excellent Company for Sending Gift Baskets
Many options to choose from for gift baskets. Substitutions were made easy. Payment and delivery were a breeze. Everything can be done online. Definitely recommend for sending a gift basket anywhere in Canada.

Sad Happy Birthday hamper
Ordered a Happy Birthday a hamper, paid extra for smiling looking bear with party hat and birthday cake. What was delivered was a congratulations box with a sad looking bear that was nothing like what I selected. I showed them and they said “Because of the high volume of orders and time-sensitive nature of many deliveries, we’re not always able to contact customers in advance about specific substitutions. As outlined in our substitution and refund policies on our website, unavailable items may be replaced with similar products of equal or greater value, and substitutions are not eligible for refunds or compensation.”. Don’t choose anything from here unless you are happy to receive what you didn’t select without any notice or choice to cancel and select a gift from elsewhere. Overpriced for no choice in product and no notice or chance to cancel.
CAN$500 gift never delivered - not Hazelton’s problem apparently!
I purchased approximately CAN$500 worth of wine as a gift, only to be told the order was “delivered” despite the recipient never receiving anything.
What has made this significantly worse is the company’s response. Rather than taking ownership or properly investigating the issue, customer service immediately attempted to push responsibility onto the courier, despite the fact that my contract is clearly with the merchant.
For an alcohol delivery, I would expect proper delivery controls, signature verification, age verification, GPS confirmation, or at the very least some meaningful proof that the parcel actually reached the intended recipient. None has been provided.
Instead, I have spent my time chasing basic answers while being passed between the merchant and courier. The handling of the situation has been wholly inadequate and far below what any reasonable customer should expect, particularly for a premium-value order.
I would strongly caution others before ordering high-value gifts through this company.

Looks local when you search, but not. Images not followed. Description not followed. Delivery instructions not followed. Nothing as ordered. Advertised gift-style wooden box packaging, arrived in a regular cardboard box. Advertised unique beers, received duplicates. Cake spoiled. Bottles broken. Delivery late. Package left unattended. After complaining, they said unavailable items may be substituted without asking. Not acceptable. Not honest advertising. Do not trust. Find a real local store instead. Their customer service emails, by Charlito and Christine Ann, were dismissive and repeatedly avoided the actual issues. Still no real resolution for over $400 CAD paid. I have photos of what was delivered, but Trustpilot is not giving me an option to upload them here. Check the photos on the Google review.
