We bought a Suzuki Swift from Halesowen and dealt with Kelvin. We travelled down from Scotland to pick up the car, (arriving very late thanks to the trains) and Kelvin was at the station to pick us up. He explained all the controls to us both and the paperwork was sorted and we were on our way.

It turns out we had a minor issue with paperwork (not Kelvin's fault) but he made sure this was dealt with efficiently and with good humour - the only reason I mention it is because you don't know how good customer service really is until you need something and Kelvin and the team at Halesowen were great.

The car itself is great, fun to drive and even decent mpg. It probably won't be our last Suzuki and we'd definitely recommend and buy from Halesowen again.

I had been to a number of other showrooms looking for a used car and I was totally disappointed with the level of service I received in all cases. I contacted Halesowen Motor House and from the first conversation with Richard I had a totally different experience. Old fashioned customer service with a knowledgeable and polite gentleman. He was helpful on the phone and when we turned up for the test drive, he was really helpful and we bought the card that we test drove. He offered a good part exchange price and explained his reason for the price and offered other added value add ons without any pressure selling. When I collected the car the following week, he had done all of the work we had agreed and when I got home I noticed something that was not there before and took it back the next day and again, he was super helpful and understanding and sorted the problem. I cant recommend this garage highly enough!

I did not end up buying a used car but Richard Byrne was very helpful. He provided responses to all my enquiries in a timely manner and was receptive to the limits of my budget etc. So,as far as I took things, I had a good customer experience.

Disgraceful how you can give different prices for vat registered companies and self employed for a brand new ford transit connect. Was quite happy paying the vat but you want to charge more. That's trade discrimination. Well you lost a sale because of this. The cheek of it they even tried to explain why..should be no reason!

From deciding what car i wanted and purchasing it,the service from Jon Parker was excellent. I was always kept well informed throughout the whole process and was so happy to collect my car. Highly recommend for new and used cars. The staff are warm, friendly and love what they do.

Booked Corsa in for second annual service. Within 6-8 weeks oil light came on. Returned to the garage to be told there was no oil was in the car. Told this could be due to the car burning too much,which I found highly unlikely but agreed to have oil put in and measured( which they tried to charge me for) to see if it was burning too much and identify more of a serious problem with the engine. Returned to the garage a month later to be told good news the oil had remained the same level. They just couldn't understand that if the oil remained the same would it means that no oil was put in during the service. I have made numerous attempts to speak with service manager with no call returned. I would never send my car in for service at this garage again. Mistakes happen and things get missed in busy garages but equally show some integrity and ownership when it has been established to be the case.

I cannot recommend this company and staff more, I have had my first new car from here and Jon Parker was my main sales executive, he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. He truly understood my needs and was perfect with the date and time of my new car, I look forward to visiting this company and staff for my further requirements of the new car. Thank you very much.

Been to every dealership/ car sales in a 30 mile radius. Halesowen motor house were the best by far. Cars are immaculate and fairly priced. Richard was amazing, he has impeccable customer service, knowledge of vehicles and such a lovely guy. All my questions answered and requests fulfilled. Highly recommend!! Love my car !

Just bought a Vauxhall Corsa at a very good price, and in excellent condition. They taxed the car, and although it had 6 months MOT left on it, they did another MOT test and put the full 12 months on. They were quickly responsive to any of my calls about questions I had and all was sorted. Very pleased with the service, and the welcoming and helpful lady at the desk by the door is like a sunny day.

I had a problem with my engine recently, which resulted in a new engine being fitted.
Neil and Richard Byrne were extremely helpful in getting this sorted for me.

I’d like to also say how helpful Nikki the receptionist was. Nikki is a credit to your customer service team.

Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Care, Unsafe Vehicle, and Terrible Communication

I recently had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Halesowen motor house, which I feel compelled to share due to their lack of customer care, selling of a dangerous vehicle, and the worst communication I've ever encountered.

Customer Care:
Despite the company's long-standing reputation and a gesture of a £500 discount, the customer service I received was abysmal. From the beginning, my concerns were not adequately addressed, making me question the company's commitment to customer satisfaction. The company repeatedly failed to take responsibility for the issues with the vehicle they sold me, relying instead on the reputation of a third-party garage.

Safety Concerns:
The most alarming aspect of my experience was the dangerous condition of the vehicle sold to me. The vehicle's MOT and the failure of the springs were significant issues that should have been caught and addressed before the sale. The company's reliance on a third-party garage does not excuse their failure to ensure the vehicle's safety. As the seller, it is their duty to guarantee that all mechanical aspects are thoroughly checked and safe for the road.

Communication:
Communication from Halesowen motor house was sporadic and insufficient throughout the process. Delays in sourcing replacement parts and repeated setbacks were not communicated effectively, leading to unnecessary frustration and uncertainty. The lack of daily or even consistent updates reflects poorly on their customer service protocols. Even when their staff, Jack, needed personal time, the company failed to have measures in place to ensure continuous and clear communication with their customers.

Additional Inconveniences:
The prolonged period without my purchased vehicle, despite being given a courtesy car, was a significant inconvenience. The company's assertion that this protected my car's depreciation was irrelevant to the primary issue of delayed and unsatisfactory service. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the car upon its return was disappointing and showed a lack of attention to detail and customer care.

In conclusion, my experience with Halesowen motor house was far from satisfactory. Their poor customer care, the dangerous condition of the vehicle they sold, and their atrocious communication are deeply concerning. I hope my feedback will prompt the company to take serious steps to improve their processes and avoid such situations in the future.

Dropped my Suzuki off at Halesowen Motor House Suzuki for its annual service. Collected car the following morning and car was literally covered in bird lime. No apology or explanation more interested in me paying ! They washed the car and the lime has burnt into lacquer. They offered to polish the areas but all trust in this company gone. I’ve sent full video evidence to Suzuki UK for escalating. Felt they didn’t care. Other poor customer service reviews on here. Avoid. Go elsewhere.

EXCELLENT,i found richard to very helpfull ,explained everything in great detail.

Had the misfortune to have to deal with this company for my 81 year old mother a few years back.
The manager rang my mom threatening her and said I had to remove a negative review. I did this as my mom was scared and in tears.
Luckily I’ve never had to deal with them since and would advise people who require a mobility vehicle to go elsewhere.
As my mom no longer drives any threats made are redundant. Avoid would be my advice.

This is my second car from Halesowen Motor House. On both occasions I have received excellent service & I would really recommend them to anyone.
On this occasion, Jon Parker was my sales person & I found him to be thorough, friendly & helpful.
