A proper, caring, enthusiastic, expert guitar shop!
I can't recommend these guys highly enough. My son and I turned up on a Saturday afternoon, and spent literally an hour trying guitars until we found the one we wanted. With absolute patience, involvement, and genuine interest and enthusiasm from all the staff. We felt like honoured guests! It was a real pleasure. The guitar was ordered from the manufacturer and arrived in the shop, but had tiny marks which the guys refused to let slide.. another example was ordered, arrived the next day, and this time passed inspection :) It arrived in Ayr the next day, beautifully packaged and in perfect condition. And.. the price was great too! We will definitely be back. Thanks again guys!

This is my first time purchase from Merchant City Music.
Ordering through their website was straight forward and the Reverend guitar arrived very well packed and set-up.
DPD failed to deliver on the due date, saying that they had encountered an issue in our area. We know from experience that this usually means they're not coming out our way!
No fault of the seller of course, and I'm very pleased with my shopping experience.

Brilliant friendly, helpful service from a 'new' seller to me
Before I found Merchant City Music were a distributer, I have always had to get my Black Mountain items directly from the USA and although the postage generally wasn't all that unreasonable, it takes a good few weeks to recieve the order. Having found Merchant City Music, my last order was delivered next day.. fantastic. To add to the good experience. I requested to add more items my order an hour after placing it, to take advantage of being able to get the Black Mountain items quicker than in the past from USA. The guy on the other end of the phone couldnt have been more friendly, understanding and so willing to help me and the order was updated there and then. Brilliant service and I couldn't have expected better from anyone.. perfect transaction.
I will definately use Merchant City Music for any future Black Mountain stuff, and now I have found them, I will give them a browse first for any other guitar/music related items.

Excellent Customer Service
I ordered a Reverend Soft Spring for my Bigsby which Royal Mail managed to lose, I contacted Merchant City and they replaced it and received the spare Spring next day...top notch Customer Service!

Excellent buying experience overall
I bought a Jet JS-450 from Merchant City, primarily because they promised a full setup while still matching price with anyone else. It helps that the guitar itself punches way above its price point, but it had clearly been thoroughly checked out before shipping and is the best set up guitar I've ever bought by a long way. I can't fault it. An excellent buying experience all round and I would not hesitate to use you again.
