I spoke to Alex Vilar today. I had to renew my insurance, and he was very polite, not pushy at all. I asked him to give me a call back later, as there were a few things I needed to speak to my son about. Alex didn't keep me waiting and called back. I had a lot of questions to ask him, and he was very thorough. There were a few points on my license that I totally forgot about, and he reminded me (lol), which I am glad about. My insurance was a little high, but he managed to make my monthly instalments affordable, which I am happy about.

Bought a car. Had to get insurance to drive it off the lot. Seems that these guys are able to provide an online quote, but go through to pay? Naaaah, you need to call them. Seems they might be great insurers. I wouldn't know because after being on hold for 50 minutes, I got bored and decided to go with one that actually got me insured in under 5 minutes.

Was offered a quote via, comparison website based on core information I was asked to provide. Upon phoning the company to solidify the offer I was asked to volunteer information that had no obvious correlation to the service or level of cover on offer. I.e. Historical information such as; criminal & financial reaching back beyond criminal or statute time boundaries. Said volunteered information was then used to formulate a quotation that proved to be over £400 a year more expensive than the cover I opted for based on the same core information I was initially asked for online. During the phonecall I was also offered information with regards to a motoring accident which was proven to be inaccurate when cross referencing with the insurance company that provided my cover at the time of the incident.

Staff answered clearly and promptly. The customer service agent named David was very politeful and helpfell.
