Fantastic solutions-focused service from Dan Lee with Gledhill
Dan Lee came to service our boiler and was an absolute legend. He listened to our concerns, tested everything twice to make sure it was working well and consistently, and was patient in finding a solution. We hugely appreciate his time and efforts. He was solutions-focused from start to finish! Thank you so much for sending such a wonderful engineer— please pass along our thanks to him.

Excellent Company and Very Professional Staff (Kimberley, Kieron and Scott)
Huge thanks to Gledhill response, in particular to Kimberley, Kieron and Scott.
On 12/01/2026 I rang Gledhill to report a major issue we had with the boiler cupboard floor that sank because of the leaks we had in the past. Kimberley demonstrated excellent customer service skills and organised engineers visits for both reinstalling our boiler and putting it back again at a later date. She was very supportive, understanding and fitted us in very promptly.
On 14/01/2026 the engineer Kieron arrived and with care managed to disconnect and move our boiler out from the cupboard to enable the joiner to replace the floor under the boiler the following day. Kieron was very supportive, very professional and showed excellent customer service skills.
On 20/01/2026 the engineer Scott went above and beyond and reinstalled our boiler back into the repaired cupboard checking all pipes, all controls, explaining it all to me. I have never met anyone as knowledgeable and as professional in this field in my life.
I’m so glad that we have a Gledhill breakdown cover and I highly recommend Gledhill Response to anyone.

Great service from arranging the engineer to finishing the job. I was kept informed all the time and the engineer knew exactly what to do. Pump sorted and only took about an hour.

The phone staff are always polite and get to the crux of your needs very quickly. Engineers always phone with an eta and are also friendly, polite and very knowledgable about all aspects of heating and water problems. It’s an excellent service.

Plumbing engineer arrived on time
Plumbing engineer arrived on time, dealt with all 3 issues promptly, keeping me informed about what he needed to do, did repairs efficiently and left with no need for me to clean up anything.

Had no hot water - Luke sorted things v quickly
Had no hot water - Gledhill sent their engineer Luke H to fix our boiler within 24 hours. This guy really knew his stuff, sorted everything out in no time. V friendly and professional, great service. Thanks again!

Good service overall
The engineer was professional, punctual, and very knowledgeable. They quickly identified the issue and repaired my hot water efficiently. Everything was left clean and tidy, and the hot water is working perfectly now. Very happy with the service.

Fault quickly repaired
we needed a repair to our hot water system - I was given a very quick appointment and then they revised it to the same day (good news) and shortly after the job was done and he noticed a possible failt that he repaired very qickly = job done very professional and very much to my satisfaction. Thumbs Up all round - thank you - and on a Saturday to boot!!!

Fixing our hot water system
Speaking to members of the Gledhill response team was very straight forward and the people I dealt with on the phone were very helpful.
When our engineer, Vince, came to fix our problem he arrived on time, was extremely polite, respected our home and explained what he was doing in simple terms that I understood! He is extremely knowledgeable and got our hot water up and running again without any issues.
He went above and beyond my expectations making sure the next day that all was well.
Thank you Vince. You are a credit to Gledhill 😊

If you think the professionals are expensive you should see what the amateurs can cost you
I should have called them first, 4 plumber visits and a lot of ‘oh, no, one of those’, fiddling about and over a week with no hot water or heating ending with the plumber saying it was past its best and I need a new £4k boiler. Always use a specialist! I took the £378 all in service and it’s been brilliant from start to finish, engineer Tom was here next working day and aside being a top chap he knew exactly what was wrong, had all the parts in his van and had everything working perfectly in no time along with a 12 month warranty.
If you have a Gledhill I would advise not allowing anyone else near it aside Gledhill.

I would highly recommend Gledhill Response. Aaron is a credit to this company. Phoned prior to arrival and was punctual for our service appointment. Very professional engineer and went above and beyond his job by also installing a new mains boost pump for us. Thank you Aaron and Gledhill.

Excellent value Boiler cover
Gledhill response are very responsive, carrying out repairs diligently and using high quality parts. In particular, the boiler cover is great value with extensive coverage that leads the market in my opinion.

Woke Xmas morning to find no hot water…
Woke Xmas morning to find no hot water and no standby/boost facility working . Left answerphone message and received call back 1st thing on 27th December and an engineer attending a few hours later the same day. Very polite and knowledgeable engineer who quickly fixed the issue and explained what he had rectified. Great service from the HQ and service team

Turned up on time. Carried out a difficult job without complaining, he just got on with it. I would highly recommend taking out the insurance policies offered with them.
