Poor food quality and service terrible. They messed up my order then tried to give another order that was cold. I Was shocked on there poor customer service approach. Gdk you need to train your staff correctly not just throw people into this kind of fast food service last time i use the gdk you need to check your staff

Says it all when 1 star rating starts overtaking five star hempstead valley your poor service has topped it over the edge

I failed the free kebab test and they allowed me to go again, 10/10 would go again!! I paid for food and they gave me extra so kind!!

⭐ Disappointing experience at GDK Wembley – poor customer service

I have been a loyal GDK customer for over three years, so I was extremely disappointed by the way I was treated during my visit to the Wembley branch.

I went to the counter to buy the £5 Fiv£r. According to the information available online, I could purchase it at the counter without needing the app. I also bought the same offer at the counter with cash just last week.

However, the staff member serving me insisted that I needed the app. When I explained that I had purchased it at the counter the previous week, he told me that this was not true. I found his attitude rude, dismissive and completely unacceptable.

As a regular customer of more than three years, I was disappointed not only by the lack of clear information but also by the way I was spoken to. If the policy has changed, it should be explained politely and professionally. There is absolutely no reason to make a customer feel as though they are lying about their own experience.

Loyal customers deserve to be treated with respect. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously affected my impression of GDK Wembley. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the staff member's attitude and the lack of clear communication regarding the offer.

Went to GDK in West Bromwich. Nice place. Courteous staff , esp Aisha. Food was great too

Placed an order with Elephant & Castle branch on September 24th and found a large (almost 2 inches long) shard of bone in my meal.
It cracked the top of my tooth crown and I was unable to eat the rest of my meal.

I filed a complaint and submitted photos and received an automated response followed a few days later by a message saying they would look into it and be in touch.
I heard nothing so I sent another message on 30th September
I received an automated reply followed by a reply yesterday saying again that they would look in to it but that they "advise customers to consume the product with care", which is not at all reassuring.
They advised that they "cannot provide a timescale".
I have not even received a refund (which I would consider the bare minimum in this situation), nor have they requested the shard of bone (which I saved) be sent to them for their "investigation".

The website states that "there may be a very slight chance that a small piece of bone can be found" but the shard in my meal was almost 2 inches long, it was thin but solid and very sharp.

The poor quality of both the food and the (pretty much non existent) follow up from customer service demonstrates a lack of care or respect for customers that amounts to negligence.

Ordered a large chicken kebab through Deliveroo as I was starving after a 12h shift and all I received was a dry chicken more thn probably from yesterday and on the top of that was pretty much cold ! Avoid this place ! This is my 3rd bad experience with them ! Once I ordered a x-large chicken kebab and they sent me a tone of lettuce and red cabbage and lots of garlic sauce as it was dripping everywhere and barely could see any chicken there....it was like they threw some food for pigs ! I won't be ordering from here anymore !
P.S : this happened on a period of 3 years time

I cannot believe this place still stays open. Its a complete and absolute waste of money, I could barely find any meat in the food plus it was dead in there . The one opposite peel centre in stockport. Terrible waste of time and money. It took 20 mins for what would take an air fryer 5.

The workers were very friendly and nice I got my order very quickly.

Firstly we asked for no spice on large kebab and it was full of it my sister couldn’t eat it also it was less meat and overloaded with salad chips were all at the bottom of the bag and freezing cold very disappointed as first time we ordered was perfect

The person behind the counter at the Dover shop was very pleasant and helpful but the food was disapointing.ive been to various chicken kebab places and this was not even in the same ball park.The chicken was cut so thinly it looked like shavings from a pencil sharpener.Tasteless,disapointing and expensive.We will not be going back

Went to the Cumbernauld outlet to buy the Lqrge Doner Box Fries costing £11.17 and it was the smallest box youve ever seen, i could have asked for 4 chicken nuggets and got more!!!
The tast is just OK, but all in all, dont bother, unless you want tinyvportions only worth £5. You would be better going to Tavo Bel or the local or better still, spice Magi, and this is from someone who does not mind spending moneyl!!!

Overpriced bull , just use bossman in future it's very mediocre and overpriced

Ordered food online and they didn't even show up. When I called—they just blamed JustEat systems. What does that have to do with me? No apology, rude lady on the phone and they said they won't even bother sending anyone now as they just wanna go home. What an absolute joke?!

I visited doner german kebab in sheperbush area near the station.And remain satisfied. Staff very polite, order arrived very quick and food is very nice.Thank you.Highly recommend

I went to GDK in Milton Keynes and ordered the QG Kebab(QG Kebab in the menu photo is clearly served in a specific flat rectangular bread with a pronounced chequered/crosshatched pattern, however, I received a completely different type of bread/loaf.(this bread they always push to sell tastes like crap, and the bread is terrible)
Just minutes before placing my order, I had seen the staff preparing another order using the exact same bread shown in the QG Kebab photo. This was actually one of the reasons I decided to order it.
I raised the issue at the counter and showed the staff member the menu, the photo, and pointed out that there were clearly two different breads/products. Despite this, he firmly insisted that they were the same and simply refused to listen or acknowledge the difference.
I then asked for a refund.
The food itself was not the main issue, the attitude and customer service were. When I clearly point out a difference between what is advertised and what I receive then the least expect is for the staff to listen and investigate rather than dismiss the complaint.
Terrible customer service. Very disappointing experience. Shame on GDK.

They should add chicken nuggets and chicken strips on the menu with a 4 piece 6 piece 8 piece or 12 piece option for chicken nuggets and 5 strips and 10 strips option and also make a 6 chicken nuggets meal with fries and drink.
