Harold was very helpful and not pushy we actually pointed us towards a cheaper sofa that we preferred great over all experience

I bought a recliner chair 2 years ago and paid £100 for the additional care warranty. I am the only person using the chair but it has now sunk in the seat area, the material has folded into a permanent crease making it uncomfortable and unusable. I contacted FV as still under the warranty but apparently this is classed as 'wear & tear' and is not covered by the care policy either. I'm in contact with the escalation team but it appears its tough and I'm now left after 2 years with an unusable chair and £850 out of pocket. I had problems with this company from day 1 with pressurised sales people, incompetence leading to long delays in delivery and lies about where the furniture is manufactured and nearly cancelled my order, which obviously I wish I now had. I'm left sitting on a dining chair in agony with my back and trying to save for a new chair as I don't have cash lying around to replace it.
Don't buy from this company and especially DO NOT BUY THE CARE POLICY as it doesn't provide any cover that isn't already on a normal household insurance policy. This company promotes itself with good quality products and customer care, what a joke

Harold Ofori ensured we had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience whilst coming to see a 2 seater electric extendable sofa I had seen online which eventually led to the sale.
He was professional, handled all our questions with deep knowledge and was useful in guiding the process. Even convinced me to allow my partner to get the lighter colour we both wanted but I feared to get because of my messy dog by selling us what looks like a great insurance against stains. I used to be in sales and I’m not an easy customer to convince or make quick decisions but Harold took the time to help with all my concerns and did it with an upbeat and nothing too much effort to look into attitude. Even offered us cookies which I ate far too many of. Perfect level of consultative selling. Thanks Harold. Let’s hope those 10 weeks fly by looking forward to getting on the new sofa now.

Wilfred was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend this firm. We are returning customers.

Our experience today was exceptional from start to finish. The store was clean and easy to navigate, the staff were very welcoming and provided us with support instantly. Thank you to Sean for all your help and guidance throughout our experience today, we look forward to lay on our brand new mattress today and hopefully be back soon with friends and family for the next pieces of ours and their furniture.

NEVER EVER GOING BACK AGAIN. THEY DONT DESERVE A SINGLE STAR. Horrible Experience. WOULD SUGGEST ALL TO AVOID Furniture village. Below is what happened
1. Order for an ottoman bed (Order no 0391BP327) placed on 30th April
2. Bed gets delivered 3 weeks later BUT INSTALLATION GUYS REALISE A PART IS MISSING.
3. They rewrap the BED and put in my garage and assure me that SOMEONE will contact and send the team with missing part to REINSTALL bed
4. It's been more than 30 days with at least 25/30 attempts to contact them. Everytime the response is - Will take care of it and contact back. Nobody responds or calls back - EVER
5. On the other hand the FINANCE payments scheduled to start in 2 days

We were looking to buy a new sofa after 20 years so did not want to be rushed into making a decision. We were given plenty of time to try several sofas out, and tge staff answered all our questions re fabrics, cost and delivery. We did buy in the end and was easily guided the order explaining everything in detail. They made us feel at ease throughout.

Wilfred who help me buy my sofa and dining table was brilliant. He was pushing us to buy and gave us good advice. The disappointment has come with the delivery twice i received a call to say that my sofa was going to be delivered, first time on the day I was called my the delivery company to say it wasnt in the van, second time there is transit issues. Still no further forward and still without the sofa. At least the dining table expectations were managed with a 5 week lead time. If there wasnt any issues with the delivery I would have given 5 stars.

Our requirements were noted and we were able to find the perfect sofas.

I went to different places before I came to Furniture Village. The moment I walked in I knew I would get what I wanted . The store assistant was friendly and very helpful. He took his time and showed me around till I spotted what I was looking for. A very comfortable and stylish sofa. And when it arrived I was never disappointed. I love my new Sofa.
