Just wanted to thank Christine the House Manager for Royston Court for her support guidance and advice. Helpful professional and caring. Much appreciated

A big thanks to Sarah Rodas at Brackley. My parents have made a huge move, moving to Brackley and she has gone above and beyond helping them to settle in.
Awful company
Awful company, they carry out bare minimum maintenance on my block of flats and charge extortionate fees for anything they can get away with, when there is a problem it's takes forever to get fixed and it's impossible to get hold of anyone
I would actively avoid any properties managed by first port in the future
Bloody rubbish
Bloody rubbish no one seems to have a clue what’s going on, can’t speak to anyone that’s actually involved in my house sale , I’m getting fobbed off left right and centre

We at Mill Stream Court think that Vanessa is absolutely magnificent and the best thing that ever happened to us.
Change management company or go Right to Manage
This year FP England have simultaneously demanded we residents pay for:
- fire seals in corridors because they want the building to comply to the Fire Safety Act July 2021 - January
- fire seals on our flat doors - July
- waking watch for FPs lack of maintenance of the fire safety panel. We don't have the Grenfell type cladding - July
- extra hours worked by night time concierge - Q2
- water safety assessments and certificates following flash flooding damage which they blame on flat-to-flat leaks pushing up the building insurance premium which they want to drive down - August
Simultaneously FP reduced service to residents by:
- blocking carpark lift access direct to the block, thereby also blocking the firemen's access to the block after 16 years of access, on the grounds that we don't pay service charge for those two lifts, the other residents do
- introduction of a 90 minute parking policy heavily-handedly implemented, that has led to our flats being isolated from contractors and deliveries who are prevented from parking and causing the blacklisting of the address by those firms
- distancing themselves from interaction with us by insisting all communications regarding service go through our landlord
- distancing themselves from us and reducing communications to one sided message blasts from them on their one-way chat channel YPO
They have drip-fed us cost increases on a monthly basis all of 2021 so far that our service charges have doubled per month and are unaffordable. They thought we residents are blind and stupid not to notice.
There is an option of Right to Manage that you should be aware of as an alternative to dealing with FirstPort. Look at the BBC documentary Rip Off Britain that shows residents fed up of FirstPort switching to Right to Manage. Sorry Trust Pilot doesn't allow me to post the link. The more residential developments that switch, the better the experience and costs for those residents.
appalling service
appalling service, don't bother. lift broken twice in a week, no updates.

Debra Kerr is the manager at Homeorr House Felixstowe and the care and understanding she gives to all her tenants is beyond reproach.
She has endless patience and life would be a lot harder without her.
My parents live in a the Teignmouth…
My parents live in a the Teignmouth development, I would like to say how happy and luck we are with our new manager. She has worked hard at meeting the residents and checks on the site and the residents. Taking that extra mile!
I am disgusted with our development…
I am disgusted with our development manager. We apparently have a case of Covid in the development. The manager arranged for the place to be fogged, and has not informed any resident, consequently I stepped out of my front door on the top floor and was immediately unable to breathe. As I suffer with COPD this has affected my health. The manager should have informed the residents of when the fogging was taking place. A notice on the notice board downstairs is useless, nobody was aware even that we had a case of Covid. The area manager should should visit this place.
Double Standards by First Port
First Port Residents are still being forced to sign a form before being allowed to use their community lounge despite Government new rules, yet they do not record any visitors to the building so why indoor test and trace yet allow strangers to possibly infect our building?

Been living in a flat for almost two years and still awaiting a bill. Wonder if they will send it all at once? For two years, not good.
I like Moravia Court
I'm in Moravia Court, in SCOTLAND. I've emphasised that because some of the negative reviews on here are for English properties, so maybe that's why they aren't getting any satisfaction.
Anyway, I'm enjoying my time in Moravia Court. We have a very approachable manager in Derek who is always willing to try to sort out our problems. Terry, his assistant manager, also. Of course, not everything can be fixed, especially straightaway, and so I can understand that some people can get frustrated.
I've only put four stars above because we had a situation recently that has been resolved but has left me feeling that the situation should not have arisen in the first place.
Our reporting system died. No one could use the entry system panel because it was dead. This mean that carers could not access their patients because they normally get entry via the entry panel.
No one could call the emergency services via their red pull cords or buttons because that was dead. They could have pulled and pressed to their hearts’ content but no one was replying.
If we'd had a fire no one would know until someone dialled 999 as there was no fire alarm reporting because the system was dead!
As I said, the system was fixed, eventually. I think it took about 12 hours as we had to wait for someone to come to fix it. However, I understand that the engineer couldn't get into the building because he didn't have a key, and the entry panel was dead! Fortunately, someone did let him in.
So, is the system safe? To my knowledge, this has not happened before, in about 15 years. I suppose that, in the world of actuaries, the chances of this having a hugely horrendous outcome is minimal. However, I don’t want 99.9% safety. I want 100%!
I'm sure there must be something that can be done to prevent this happening again. If there was a fuse to replace or a circuit breaker to reset then why aren’t spare fuses kept locally? If there is a standby battery that failed then why aren’t we holding a spare and, of course, given the basic training in how to replace it?
Mind you, we residents were not aware of this fault! I feel this is a mistake and the system should be able to tell us if there is a problem, or at least be able to inform the managers, who do not live on the premises but could then ring more responsibly aware residents to enable them to inform others as required.
Okay, so I’ve gone off on a rant. Sorry about that but we aren’t allowed meetings at the moment and so I’ve got no one else to moan to! 🙂
FAILURE ON EVERY LEVEL
FAILURE ON EVERY LEVEL
I own a property maintained by Firstport in London- when I bought in 2013 the building was adequatley maintained although the extortionately high service charge has never reconciled with the facilities (no lift, unsecure parking, no bike hold, outdated intercom system,)
In the past 8 years standards have dropped so dramatically it is impacting the value of my property. Cleaning consists of 1 person arriving ever 2 weeks or so to hoover the internal stairs. That is it.
Our recyling bins remain in the entrance to our block, overflowing for 2 weeks at a time which has led to fly tipping. Tramps & drug addicts using our completely accessible carpark as a toilet or a place to get high. Our internal stairwell is filthy as has been painted once during this entire period & due to no bike lock up was immediatly after covered in black marks from bikes being carried up the stairs - over the past 6 years since a paint this is now looking awful. Simply using washable paint & having the "cleaner" rub off each week would have sorted. The front door & battered postboxes outside have not been updated since inception 23 years ago and look awful.
Impossible to get in touch with Firstport, hold for hours, no call backs - every email with photo's I've sent has been ignored. I had a leak in the ceiling causing hugh mold spots, this took over a year to get someone to view & repair the damage.
Daylight robbery taking £200+ a month for this utter failure in providing any kind of service - avoid at all costs.

Nothing is to much trouble.
She will always put herself out to help everyone.

Homegate House
Hi,
A massive big BRAVO to our manager Brian Colbran at Homegate House Eastbourne. He has always been a good manager, but I daresay that since the first lock-down he has been a STAR! He kept our spirits up by finding time for anyone of us having one of those "down days", despite his hectic time-schedule. If there was anything that needed fixing or addressing, it was always done ASAP. Always a welcome greeting and putting our safety first makes Homegate House a happy place to live. Moving here was one of the best things I ever did. A wonderful community spirit, respect for each other, a helping hand....it couldn't be better.
Do I hear you cheer? You better be.
Kind regards
Annick Tyrer
Absolutely atrocious
Absolutely atrocious. I have been trying to purchase a car park Fob since APRIL and it's now the 15th of June. I have been emailing back and forth with customer care regarding its whereabouts who then asked me to call FirstPort. After dialling the number I was recommended, here's what happened:
1) First time I called, I had to wait 20 mins in a queue and then during my call with a customer advisor, the call was cut off and no one called me back
2) The second time I called the same number and selecting the option for 'difficulties with payment' I got put through to credit who then, after telling me they're putting me through to Customer Services ended up putting me through to Retirement. After speaking with the lady on the phone for 15mins, she confirmed she cannot help me and has to escalate this further for me to get a callback.
She couldn't confirm when that call would come (ie it could be minutes, hours to days or weeks) or who will call me.
ABSOLUTELY ABSURD
Firstport needs to be shutdown
First Port needs to be shut down.
Appalling Service....would give them 0 stars if I could
My Father died last year and I am selling his flat which is managed by First Port (previously Chamonix Estates).
I have been waiting over 8 weeks to pay for a management pack. Emailed numerous times. Phone calls...promised a call back and nothing. I'm about to lose my cash buyer and First Port don't care.
The flats have wooden balconies so have failed the external wall cladding survey so no mortgage company will lend on them. So a cash buyer is very valuable!
Been on hold 57 mins now to speak to them again after being promised a call back last week.
This on top of losing my Dad is dreadful.
