FirstPort are now the entity that have taken over Chamonix Estates. For their sake I hope the deal was done for a nominal fee. Unfortunately for the customer it’s lack of service as usual, zero action, zero communication except for a regular invoice and of course no service. It seems the incompetent accounts and customer service departments have remained and only the name has changed.

I purchased a FirstPort managed property 2 months ago, my solicitor and I tried to complete the registration of property transfer with them for a long period of time. Until now, I am still unable to get to know the passcode of the property gate and other information I want to know of the property! I tried to email and phone them a few times, leaving messages etc. They don't answer your email and phone call!!

Never reply's, never answer's the phone, never get's back to my solicitors, sold my flat in December 2020 now its 27th of May and all we've been waiting for is Firstport to sort out our Land Registry entry (which they confirmed is under their control) Can someone please contact me and get this sorted!!

On the 15th of January I moved in to Park Gate and from the off set things were difficult because of a flood caused by the flat opposite, which caused water ingress within my bedroom. I was unable to put all my belongings in place.

Lorraine did every thing possible to make this period stress free. She is a good communicator and ensured that all times I knew and understood the time table of contractors visits relating to the flood. I have a profound hearing loss which made this challenging for her. She explained every thing to me and my family.

Sometimes when you are deaf it is easier not to speak to people. Not with Lorraine. She is very approachable
and seems to understand my problem. She goes out of her way to make sure I understand. I am very fortunate to have her as Manager of this development.

If it was possible to rate with more stars I would have done.

Went to view Montes Court with a view to my mum moving in there. I cannot thank Barry Smith enough for the lovely welcome and complete tour of the development he answered every question I asked him without hesitation and even went as far as to tell me about the residents activities (which were cancelled at the moment due to covid) .I will be bringing my mum for a viewing I'm sure like me she will be very impressed.

I have lived at Chatham Court for many years.
Chatham Court is a great location and is central to shops, Doctors and pharmacy all within walking distance.
Our Manager Sue Coulling is very helpful.
The residents are very friendly and welcoming to any new residents moving in.

WE live at Regal Court, Warminster. since July 2004, previouly managed by PEVERAL in the last few years it's managed by FIRST PORT. It's a
block of one bedroom apartments. it serves our needs.
It is a development with multiple facilities. Morrison's supermarket hardly a minute's walk. The Lake Pleasure Grounds Park is just across the street and
Warminster Civic centre just facing the Block. The Managing Agents changed a few years back, the previous house manager retired and a new house manager Karen Pearson was appointed. Karen Pearson is an excellent person, very professional, polite, cheerful, courteous, extremely efficient and very helpful in looking after all the residents living in this block, Karen gives all the possible assistance at a short notice to everyone. I am very happy living here.
Apparently there are problems arising from time to time which are resolved without much fuss.
I think the Managing Agents should not allow the residents to move in with pets as we all have to share the laundry room washing machines and dryers, people with pets should make other arrangements to wash the pet's bedding. using the communual laundry where pets bedding has been washed is causing complicatios to our health which has not been very good. We have traced animal fur in our laundry this makes us cough at night when furs are attached to the bedding clothes, pets hair ruins the washing machines and it is a health hazard as their bedding might be full of insects eggs and harmful bacteria if the animal is not properly taken care off.

I moved into Parsonage Court in Highworth on the 7th May 2021. I must say the site manager Lorraine Jack and her husband Bob have made me feel extremely welcome. Lorraine kindly put me in touch with the local tradesmen in the area with certain jobs I needed doing. Nothing is to much trouble for Lorraine, she introduced me to the other residents in Parsonage Court which I found all to be very nice people who also made me feel very welcome. I feel very settled here with the people around me.

As a resident of 10 years I find this company is becoming bureaucratic to the extreme. They are now forbidding the house managers, whom owners employ , to assist the residents with simple tasks, not allowing them to change a light bulb, replace alarm batteries, beings quoted examples .First Port know that the necessary support needed to change management is virtually impossible to obtain and capitalise on that fact.

I live at Primrose Court , Steyning . Laura Woodward , our development manager, has done an incredible job during these trying and difficult times. She is very efficient ,always helpful and her good humour is a joy !

I moved to Pegasus court Tunbridge Wells just before the lockdown and I am so grateful to first port and my manager Karen for keeping me safe and the development COVID free.I am looking forward to life returning to normal knowing that I made the right move.

Ryan Court Blandford is run by the exceptional Jo and Julie. These ladies should be commended for their care of all who live at Ryan Court.The building and grounds are always clean tidy and welcoming. My mother moved from London and was very anxious but Joe and Julie ensured she met other residents and did not feel isolated. A few times I could not contact my Mum i just called the office and they checked up on her to put my mind at ease. Entering Ryan Court you know just how well run the place is...warm and welcoming plus most days a merry gathering of residents can be found chatting together. I would not hesitate to recommend Ryan Court to anyone seeking a retirement property either for themselves of a elderly relative.
Jo and Julie are the heartbeat of Ryan Court and I have heard from so many residents just how much these two.ladies do for all the residents..often going above and beyond to ensure a resident is healthy safe and above all happy.

I feel very lucky to have found Willow Court in Alton. We couldn’t wish for a better manager. Ann goes over and beyond her duties to create a safe and happy environment for all the residents to live. In normal times we have lots of varied activities but during the current pandemic she has kept us occupied with regular quizzes (on paper through our doors) and newsletters and made sure we have stringent precautions in place to protect us all from the Coronavirus. She deserves a medal. It is certainly the best move I have ever made and I look forward to enjoying our normal activities again as the lockdown eases.

My Gran has recently moved into Silvas Court and the support have been outstanding. Especially from Ron the manager there he has been very helpful with the move and continues to be a great manager everyday. My Gran is loving the new home and everyone it has to offer.

You are an awful business! We've been living on our estate for 5 years and you are still sending us all random bills from 3 years ago! Absolutely disgusted! I'd advise no one buys a property where this company is involved!!

Completely incompetent. Mistake followed by mistake followed by mistake. No accountability, no ownership, no communication.

Terrible company. If you are looking to buy a new build and this company is your leaseholder, I would advise you to not buy and look elsewhere.

I would just like to say what a complete breath of fresh air to have a manager who genuinely cares about her residents. When Sallie Murphy arrived at Redvers Court Warlingham I honestly thought nothing would change but how wrong we were.

She is super-efficient, friendly, helpful, pro-active, follows-up on matters and quite simply a truly outstanding Manager.

I think the big difference with Sallie is she is very much a ‘people person’ who obviously enjoys what she does, is interested in her residents and goes out of her way to ensure our welfare is her No 1 priority.

Have had several issues with first port, being over charged, told i hadn't paid an amount on purchasing the house, had to go back to my solicitor and provide evidence, contact is poor and pretty sure we are generally being ripped off. Do your research on new build management fees before purchasing. Ours currently stand at £300 a year, and we pay full council tax. First Port also seem reluctant to provide me with detail expenditure of our estate.

The Meads - Windsor
The Meads - Windsor . I have been in my new home at the Meads now for 7 months. This is the best thing I have done, I feel so safe and looked after. Our Manageress Maxine - well, what a lovely caring lady she is, nothing is to much for her and she is always on the go around our building, making sure everything is perfect. Additionally, Maxine has always got a smile on her face when we leave and enter the The Meads, she also has time for conversations with all of us. I think I can speak for all of the residents, that we are all very lucky to have a Manageress like Maxine.
