Love the razors

Love the razors, love the recycling scheme and every single time I contact them for support, they go above and beyond! This time it was Holly; I asked how to add a razor handle on to my next blade subscription delivery, as I couldn't do it from my end and my current one had broken - she added one on for me, free of charge! Love everything about this brand!

Good products. Dodgy subscription practices

The razor and blades are very good but their subscription model is pants. You don't get a notification prior to your sub arriving so there is no way to cancel or pause it before payment is taken. You are forced to use the chatbot to skip a subscription date and have to go through all sorts of "offers" before you can amend it. The maximum subscription period is 4 months.

Disgrace company

Disgrace company. First my partner, now me. Today I've served them an email which describes all: I am writing to formally demand the immediate cancellation of my subscription and the permanent deletion of all my payment details from your systems.

Despite cancelling my subscription over a month ago, another subscription shipment has been processed.

Today, I contacted your customer support via chat and was assured by one agent that the subscription had been cancelled. However, eight hours later, the subscription is still active and visible on my account.

I attempted to contact support again to resolve this issue, but the agent disconnected the chat without resolving the matter.

This email serves as formal notice. I am giving your company 24 hours from receipt of this message to:

1.Fully and permanently cancel my subscription.

2.Remove all of my stored payment information.

3.Confirm in writing that the above actions have been completed.

Failure to comply within 24 hours will leave me no choice but to escalate this matter to the Consumer Ombudsman for unfair and deceptive consumer practices.

I would also like to note that my partner experienced the exact same issue, which strongly suggests this is not an isolated incident but a recurring practice. Additionally, subscription prices have been increased without proper notification, which further raises concerns about compliance with consumer protection regulations.

I expect written confirmation within the stated timeframe."

Please...do not call me just waiting for respond email and we're saying goodbye to each other. No matter how good product is I will never support company like yours.

Back in January, you contacted us to skip your next order and we can confirm that this was processed successfully at the time. Yesterday, when you reached out around 3pm to cancel, the request was submitted straight away. In some cases it can take up to 24 hours for the cancellation to fully update in the account portal, and your account completed its update at 8:20pm that evening. We’re sorry this timeframe wasn’t made clearer, as we appreciate how concerning it is to still see an active status after requesting cancellation. We’ve emailed you directly to confirm your cancellation, your payment detail request, and to respond to your concerns about pricing. If there’s anything at all that still doesn’t look right on your side, please reply to our email and we’ll personally review it for you. Thanks, FFS x

I had nothing but positives from FFS!
Ive been with them for 5 years now, they've sent out little gifts over the years. Can't fault the razors, also their tweezers are the best ive ever used and at the age of 35 ive been through a few!
My most recent interactions have blown me away, I emailed a couple of days ago to say that unfortunately my 10year relationship came to an end last week.. he found someone else 💔 i emailed to say I don't need anymore blades for a while because im stacked and won't be going through as many now. Holly went above and beyond! Sent THE kindest most uplifting email ive ever received from a company! She also included a little gift for me 🥲 SO if you're thinking about it.. DO IT! You will not regret it! Thank you FFS ❤️

Great products and customer service

Great products and great customer service - I accidentally made an order to the wrong address, and when I contacted customer service on WhatsApp Holly was so helpful and sorted things right away, and also went the extra mile and sorted the address on upcoming subscriptions as well. Everything was sorted within minutes of making my order and I was so impressed with the speed and quality of service. Would highly recommend this company :)

Had trialed the free trial and the razors/shaving cream are great, I’ve very sensitive skin and reactive to most creams but had no problems. Had to cancel due to current financial limits, and the customer service experience when cancelling was great. Really good service thank you

Absolutely abysmal service

Absolutely abysmal service. Unlike so many other subscription services that you can alter delivery dates or pause at the click of a mouse this one wants you to wait around for “an agent to join the chat”. Why? Utterly ridiculous.

Hey Rhia, we’re genuinely sorry for the frustration this caused. You can make changes to your subscription through your account portal, and they normally update straight away. Yesterday morning we had an unexpected technical issue which caused the chat to break. As soon as we spotted it, we fixed it within around 30 minutes and your request was actioned as soon as everything was back up and running. Holly is a star

Holly is a star. Lovely customer service and I am now a loyal customer due to her sorting out my first order. Highly recommend - ask for Holly , nothing is too much trouble. All brands take note ! Great to speak to an actual human!!

Excellent customer service!

Unfortunately I’d made an error and had forgotten to delay a subscription. Luckily FFS send an email confirming the subscription was being processed, I contacted them immediately and Holly delayed the subscription and arranged a credit back to my account. Holly was brilliant, she was helpful and friendly….fantastic customer service! Thank you ☺️

I wasn't a buyer

I wasn't a buyer. My husband purchased as a gift. But the shower holder broke and FFS were so helpful and understanding they answered all my queries and are replacing with no cost. I really like my razor and will re order my blades when needed. Many thanks.

The quality seemed to be decreasing.

The quality seemed to be decreasing and prices continously increased. There was an introduction of postage charges, then you'd have to get 2 months at a time. Then there's been another jump in price recently. I wouldn't normally mind, but it seemed like the quality didn't match up. The blades dull very quickly, and lately I've been nicking myself more. I have been a subscriber for several years but today I have cancelled. Loyalty is not rewarded, and I can buy better elsewhere.
*EDITED TO ADD* in response to your reply: the previous discount was applied because I asked to cancel at the time of the last price increase because I didn't feel the product justified the price. When I reached out to ask if the blades had changed, I was NOT sent replacements, I was sent a new handle which are free anyway, because they said the issue could be the handle not holding the blades properly. And the "alternative options" you mention, was a lesser blade (the standard, not the premium) for 50p more per pack than what you were raising my price to on the premium pack. HOW is that a viable alternative?! You've unfairly made it look like you've gone above and beyond in your response, when that is not the case at all.

Hi Levi, thanks for taking the time to leave this review and I am sorry to hear that you have cancelled after several years with us. On pricing, we introduced a small postage contribution around 18 months ago due to rising courier costs. In your case, our team adjusted your plan, reduced your blade price, and applied free delivery to help keep costs down. The recent change is our first blade price increase in over 4 years. We’re a small Midlands-based business and, while manufacturing, postage and staffing costs have continued to rise, we kept blade prices the same for as long as we could. This small increase helps us keep doing things properly. On quality, we haven’t made any changes to our blades. I can see you previously reached out, and we sent out a replacement pack to try; as we didn’t hear back after that or receive any further reports of issues we assumed that you had not had any further issues. I can see that we have offered a few alternatives to you to keep the prices down but sadly you have not accepted these. If you do require any further help or wish to discuss these alternatives in more detail, please do reach out to us. Thanks, FFS x
