Extremely Disappointing Service – Two Failed Deliveries and No Respect for Customers
I would give zero stars if I could.
My experience with Factory Direct Flooring has been absolutely appalling. They have failed to deliver my vinyl flooring twice, despite confirming delivery dates. On both occasions, I waited at home for hours, wasting my valuable time, only for the delivery never to arrive.
To make matters worse, it has now been over two weeks since I removed the old flooring in my shop, preparing for the new flooring to arrive. I have been left waiting, with my shop affected, because I relied on this company to do what they promised.
And what was their solution? Instead of contacting me, explaining the situation, and giving me the option to agree on an alternative delivery arrangement, they simply decided to issue a refund and told me they would not be sending my flooring.
I did not ask for a refund. I wanted the flooring I had ordered and paid for.
The complete lack of communication, reliability and consideration for their customers is unacceptable. Mistakes can happen in any business, but failing twice and then making a decision on the customer's behalf without even discussing it is a different matter entirely.
I have lost time, been left in a difficult position with my shop flooring, and had to deal with unnecessary stress and inconvenience. My time is valuable, and this company has shown very little respect for it.
My advice to anyone considering ordering from Factory Direct Flooring: think carefully before placing your order. A delivery confirmation means nothing if the company cannot honour it, and based on my experience, you cannot rely on them to deliver when promised or handle problems professionally.
A deeply frustrating experience from start to finish. I would not recommend them based on the service I have received.

We are always disappointed when our customers are let down by our carriers. In this case the first delivery arrived damaged. We replaced this and sent out a new order only to be notified by the carrier that they had again damaged it before even reaching you. We never take the decision lightly to cancel an order, but in some circumstance when we can not rely on the carrier to make the fulfilment successfully due to local issues with a depot, we do have to make the decision to cancel rather than fulfil to avoid unnecessary delays, further inconvenience and costs all round.
Whilst the outcome on this particular order was not what we would have set out to do, we're pleased that a further order from you was successfully delivered on 22nd. We share our concerns with our delivery partners and hope now that they have addressed the issues that caused the inconvenience.
We hope that your flooring project has at least now been able to be completed, and again apologise for the inconvenience.

We're sorry your flooring arrived later than you expected, and we agree that this is not a great advert; however this was an email error rather than a service failing.
For context, you ordered at 4:30pm on Monday 5th and chose a 3-5 working day economy delivery service to Inverness. I'm pleased that the flooring was delivered today - the 12th - at 9:45am, being the 5th working day after your order, and therefore the service paid for was in fact met.
However, we fully accept that an email incorrectly stated that the order would be delivered by 8th - only 2 working days after your order - despite you selecting the 3-5 day economy option. This was in fact the Named Day option which would have been £120. It was this email that incorrectly set the expectation. We have identified the error and have corrected it, and apologise for the confusion.
As the delivery service that was actually paid for was met, we kindly ask that you consider revising this feedback to reflect the service paid for.

I had a delivery issue as I had to go out and the person I spoke to said that she would call me back with an accurate delivery time , which she did 1 hour later and the delivery arrived exactly within the 2 hour time slot she predicted.
