v11 has too many bugs and processes too slowly.

I love the new (but not so new) feature of creating spaces! It's been such a great way to organize things even more into different sections :) I do wish there were more templates, the current one for class note taking isn't the type I use but also when I tried to import it to at least try it out, it wouldn't import into my platform. Otherwise, I love evernote - been using it for maybe 4 or 5 years? I love the simplicity of it.

I love Evernote. I've been using it on and off for the last like 5 years, but I've started using it very heavily after the bendingspoons acquisition. It's better for me and my needs than notion, obsidian, one note, and all the other big players. I'm an Evernote customer for life!

I have been using Evernote as a complete database for facts and reference notes and commentary for my personal life, my hobbies, my professional life and my life-long learning.
It is amazing that I can use Evernote on my iPhone, iPad, Windows laptop...at home or at the office.
There is no worry about running out of space and having to buy more... I subscribe and it covers all my needs.
I am impressed with their non-stop updates and upgrades.

Evernote is one of the OG personal productivity solutions. It has been been turbocharged since being acquired by Bending Spoons, who have rolled out new features and improvements multiple times a year. I love the meeting recording and transcription functionality in particular. I've used it not only for meetings, but also to record conference speakers and panels lasting over an hour. Evernote captures everything said accurately, and summarizes well. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to be more productive, both personally and professionally.

You'll soon need to take out a mortgage to pay for Evernote. Increased by 138% from $104.99 to $249.99/year is disgusting,

It's on it way to 1K per year on a fast track. Ai has nothing to do with it it's just pure greed.

Well the last year or so, i have witnessed a huge progress on the product offering after being problematic for many years..i have been a faithful client for a long time and now i enjoy the experience and importantly , it s usefulness!

Evernote has made changes and support does not get back to me on fixing issues they caused with the send to Email option. Only heard from AI. Something about coding in the HTML email that refused to work (orders from Amazon). and previous Send to Evernote email notes now can not be modified because of Evernote Changes. Frustrations like this make me rethink using Evernote less as a safeguard to my productivity.

Great App for taking notes on the go, then come back and elaborate thoughts, build up projects.
I am using Evernote for 10 years now and have a some 700 notes. It has been essential for me in many occasions. The synchronization with my home pc and my work pc is a great tool.

They keep adding things nobody wants.

I just want to have a place for my notes. They keep adding all kinds of useless AI tools that I'm not asking for and never using. My costs did raise steeply though. Doubling every year for the last 2 years.

I wish they just keep at what they once were. A great tool to write your notes in.

Pro: A useful way to store and organize links and information.

Con: Fewer formatting options than when working in Word or Gmail drafts; no Undo function if you accidentally delete a line of text or a link. Evernote should work on upgrading these workaday features instead of worrying about AI options, which I don't use.

Perfomance is HORRIBLE. I don't want AI inside EN. I've had *tons* of AI elsewhere that I ALREADY use. Why do I have to FORCEFULLY pay for something I didn't ask for ?

What I do need is a fast, reliable, desktop Evernote Client where I can manage my notes with ease. A typical Windows program, as it was Legacy Version, the BEST EVER. It was soooooo fast, so useful ! All functions a few keystrokes away. No mouse needed. Practical , handy (it was).

But all I can see is more and more AI inside EN.

Also, I have to pay *A LOT* for EN, since I already pay for MicroSoft Office. On the other hand I just didn't move to OneNote yet, where I could have a way better experience, cause I have tons of notes inside EN. Don't have the time to stop my workflow (very busy) and do this migration.

So I keep using EN superficially (I used it DEEPLY). I was a very heavy user : had Import Folders, had XML integration and several other stuff around "EN". But I'm not motivated to keep it all (or even grow those peripherals) anymore.

Also, EN tries to be a lot of things and don't go deeper on none of them. It does them all poorly or on a very shallow manner. Task Management ? I prefer TickTick. Way faster and sophisticated. Also very "keyboard friendly" (just a few keystrokes). Image Editor ? What a shame ! I do a lot of screen captures (as a matter of fact one of the few things I still use EN for) to store inside EN. But it's image editor looks something of the 1980's ... So I end up having to use ANOTHER image editor outside of it. I'm using GreenShot and then storing inside EN. But because it's not integrated to EN, image editions are not reversible. They could be if EN Image Editor were better. Again , I DO NOT NEED AI. I need a GOOD IMAGE EDITOR INSIDE EN. Back on the good EN days we had a way better editor, I think it was sticky it's name or so. Either way a GOOD IMAGE EDITOR INSIDE EN is what I'd love. Other than that, Import Folders on Legacy Version were BETTER ! You had the option to REMOVE the file once imported into EN. Current version do not REMOVE, so I have to build scripts to work around this lack of functionality. Ah, you scan documents ? Again I use other tools for that. Waaaaaaaaaay better than IN. Currently I'm using iScanner for doing this job. Smart. Superb. CamScanner is also very good. EN document scanner is silly. You need to record audio "on-the-go" ? I use EasyVoiceRecorder App cause it has a very, very handy widget : just click to start recording and click again to stop and save the audio. Because I'm ON-THE-GO, I need something PRACTICAL. En requires me to do several clicks just to record an audio. Again : I don't need AI. I need a handy widget to record my audios ! So simple to do ! Notice : I'm ON-THE-GO ! I don't have the TIME to Enter on EN, click a lot of things. I just need : RECORD/STOP button ! It's expected the App to be smart enough to save the audio, upload to cloud etc. A specific folder (NoteBook) could be assigned for those audios ("On-the_go" Input NoteBook). The same idea (handy widget) could be used to a picture : just capture this picture INTO EN ! Why do I have to run several interface dialogs just to save a picture ? Can't you use your OI (Original Inteligence) (& Criativity) to sit on the users side and think about those clever things ?

Conclusion : I was EN lover. Now I'm a hater. Sad.

The great thing about Evernote is that you can write anything in it. Lately, there have been more updates with modern features like Spaces, which makes it even more appealing.
