After a few days there were syncproblem. And the program stopt working for me . And I could not even save new items. Today it is the 19 th of mars 2026.

Very good cross-platform experience with great apps and web apps.

I've used Todoist for years because of its great natural language parsing and quick keyboard entry.

Sync has been bulletproof for me and I don't think they've cluttered up the UI with a bunch of stuff I don't need.

Even the new kanban boards for a Trello-like experience have been useful in some cases.

Kinda like Notion but super focused on "job to be done". I've been using for a few months with my clients so they can keep a watch on how far along the project is and see what's next.

Das Programm und die Idee ist eigentlich gut. Aber Erreichbarkeit wenn man Fragen hat ist unterirdisch. Du bekommst eine Mail daß deine Rechnung da ist und es ist 20x einfacher dein Abo zu kündigen wie an diese Rechnung zu gelangen. Kein Impressum gefunden, kein Kundenkontakt gefunden, kein Ticket zum öffnen gefunden. Service leider nicht messbar. Schade daß man über diesen Weg den Service herbeirufen muß.

🚨 Scamming Alert: Todoist: Your 2FA is a Lie🚨

As a cybersecurity researcher, I believe that Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is the last line of defense for users when their passwords are leaked. Unfortunately, Todoist doesn’t seem to agree. I recently discovered and reported a Full 2FA Bypass on their platform, and their response was nothing short of irresponsible.

🔍 The Vulnerability: 2FA Bypass via Response Manipulation
The flaw is a classic Broken Authentication State Management.
An attacker can gain full account access.
The Shocker: Even if a user enables 2FA after their password is leaked, an attacker can still use old session structures to bypass the 2FA requirement entirely.

🛑 The Irresponsible Response
I responsibly reported this to Todoist, providing a clear Video PoC. Their response was a masterclass in gaslighting:
"Not a risk": This ignores the entire purpose of 2FA! 2FA exists precisely to protect users if a password is compromised.

"Senior Devs' Decision": After a long argument, they hid behind the claim that "3 senior devs looked at it" and decided that a complete bypass of their security layer is "by design."
Why Senior Devs looks at a security matter and ?! Where is the security team?!
Policy Contradiction: Their own policy claims to follow HackerOne guidelines, yet they refuse to acknowledge a textbook MFA Bypass (CWE-287), which is classified as High/Critical by industry standards.

⚠️ Why This Matters to YOU
If you use Todoist and have enabled 2FA thinking you are safe from credential leaks, you are not.

📢 My Take
It is deeply disappointing to see a company that millions of people trust with their daily lives and data treat a critical security bypass with such negligence. Refusing to reward or even acknowledge a logic flaw that renders a core security feature obsolete is unacceptable.

Users: Be aware that your Todoist 2FA might not protect you.

Todoist: Stop ignoring technical logic flaws and start valuing the security researchers who try to keep your platform safe. Security is not a "matter of opinion"—it's a matter of protecting your users.

Ich hab schon viele ToDo-Apps ausprobiert, und bin seither schon lange mit ToDoIst unterwegs. Die App überzeugt mich mit den Basics, alles funktioniert, wie es soll. Der Preis ist absolut fair.

I've been a Todoist user for several years and recently had an issue with my subscription just before the Christmas period. Although there was a slight delay in support coming back to me, it was quickly fixed. More impressive was that it was fixed on Christmas Day! Brilliant service.

Great app for staying on top of tasks and projects...

way too complicated for what I want of a ToDo tool and they keep sending me annoying spam mails.

Covers the bases for a reasonable price. Reliable, cross-platofrm, with reasonable team pricing.

Fantastic todo list software. I like how simple it is; each task has just 4 possible priority states, and can be tagged with a project to keep them organised. It's no more and no less than I need for my todo list organiser app.

Todoist is the best task and project management app out there. I use it for personal, family, and work. It helps me keep everything organized simply and quickly. And it's developed by a small thoughtful team, which shows.

Dificult to unsubscribe from their newsletters. It is illegal to ask someone to log in in order to cancel the communicaiton.

Took out a business account that I didn't end up needing but had already been charged for the year. Sent an email and within 10 mins had the refund processed by Melis.

I asked for my account to be closed ages ago yet I've now started getting unwanted (and probably illegal) posts from Todoist.
I have requested the account be closed again but have only been sent a option to download my data - not what I wanted.
Why can't you follow simple instructions? And, why can I not speak to anyone about this shambles.

I WILL NOT BE FILLING A 'TICKET' OUT FOR ANYONE.

Not possible to opt-out from the newsletter. Tried on 3 different browsers. Reported to Google and others services. Wish you the worst spammers.

Nie ma opcji normalnego dodania terminów cyklicznych. Trzeba zdać się na 'inteligentne rozpoznawanie' - niestety ono nie działa. Na minus również sposób kontaktu z supportem. Trzeba się namęczyć, by wysłać normalne zgłoszenie. Zrezygnowałam.

I use this app every day. I love that all important features are available in a free plan.

Great tool for jotting down and planning urgent tasks for clients.

One caveat: support that takes days to reply when you want to fix a minor bug (2 weeks since I opened my ticket, still unresolved).

Simplistic UI, which is great if you are overwhelmed by tools such as Notion, and ensures 80% of your time will be spent working productively and not spending all of your time planning tasks.

If you’re a fan of timeblocking such as myself: good enough.

If you put a task that is less than 10 minutes that is where things get rough. It gets overlayed by longer tasks, for ex. 1h and 30min tasks, rendering the 10min task invisible.
