So langsam werde ich Spezialist für Drucker von EPSON 2871
Drucker druckt nicht!
Ich versuchte ich wieder zu drucken. Problemsucher druckte dann vier Seiten mit mit einem diffusen Test aus. Jetzt läuft der "Spoolerdienstfehlersucher schon 20 Minuten....das ist neu bei diesem so kreativen Drucker der sich als Kopierer hervorragend geeignet....als Drucker nicht soo sehr.
Ich kann es immer noch nicht fassen, dass ein solcher Drucker auf dem Markt ist. Ich hatte Epson gefragt ob ich gegen ein besseres Modell tauschen kann. Es kam keine Antwort. Vermutlich habe ich das bestes Produkt erwischt!!

Ich habe schon so viele Beschwerden geschrieben, keine Reaktion.

Bought a printer under there money back offer from Curry's last year. up to now no refund tried calling numerous times NO ANSWER tried there email address three times NO ANSWER does this look like a scam to you, obtaining monies by deceit i think is still a criminal offence. Anbody actualy received cash back?

Do not use Epson, the customer service is non existent!

Please don’t purchase from epson.
We bought an expensive EcoTank which broke after a few months. Rang up and after lots of debate they agreed to exchange it. 6 months later the same fault occurred. Called them again to be told the printer was out of warranty and theyd repair it for £150. I asked how it could be out of warranty at 6 months old and they said even though we had been sent a new one the warranty starts from when the original did! Staff were rude throughout and still haven’t supplied requested paperwork

I have used Epson printers for more than 10 years and find them excellent value for money. I am not technically mind so to get the previous printers to go wireless was a problem. Now it seems there is a way of just putting in your IP address rather than messing about with ghz is fantastic. Gone wireless now.

Epson made a compain with cash back
They do t provide it and instead asks for extra Info which is already provided and they don’t send email with their extra requirements till the time of the compain expires

Awful printers. Recently started using one, worst experience with a printer for a while and that is saying something. Expensive, built in redundancy, claims of superior quality when it just prints the same as any printer in the last 15 years seems. Essentially a scam.

Epson claim to have dispatched cartridges (and taken £200 from my card) but UPS don’t have them- tracking still shows only label printed. Customer Services are diabolical- still saying they ‘will ask UPS to investigate’ when it’s clear that they’ve never been given them. I’m never buying another Epson printer

Absolutely appalling customer service. I moved house over a year ago and despite contacting them by email and phone on multiple occasions I am still being charged for ink I have not received. They are stealing my money! I have spent hours trying to sort the issue and have got absolutely nowhere. Avoid like the plague!!!

I bought an Epson printer from John Lewis. There was a £50 cashback promo at the time. Applied. Hadn’t heard from them or received the money. Spent a long time trying to find a customer service number or helpdesk in order to establish what the delay was. Eventually found ‘track my order’ on the website and discovered that my request had been declined. Managed to find a phone number, explained what had happened. A guy sent me a link that had nothing to do with my issue. Finally found the page that I needed to have a second go at sending the claim and guess what? I’d exceeded the time to make a claim. This is automation gone mad. Customer services is non-existent and, when you do reach someone, incompetent.

I wish there was a happy ending to this saga. Further to posting the above a lovely lady from ‘customer services’, listened to my gripe and said she would recommend that I receive my £50. ‘Just give us 30 days’ (not unreasonable). 5 weeks later I’m still waiting. Even when this company has an opportunity to reverse a bad review they fail miserably.

I have inherited a printer from my father who passed last year. Absolutely nothing wrong with it and plenty of ink as he subscribed to Readyprint. However the printer is unusable as it is registered to my father and I cannot delete the ready print account. Finally got through to online chat customer services India, who I think in good faith told me they would escalate this and I would be called back with a solution in a couple of days. Of course this never happened, so now left with a useless printer that will be heading for the tip. Why does Readyprint lock out the printer so nobody else can use it even if it's reset back to factory settings and after the ink service was cancelled? Seems like a scam to me and looking at the reviews here it seems like the service is sh*t anyway!

Absolutely AVOID.

Please please PLEASE don't buy an Epson printer. Take that money you're about to spend, and walk down to your local library. They can typically print things off for you for a small fee, and believe me, it will work out SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper (and far less maddening) than having an Epson printer.

I've spent an absolute fortune on the printer and the ink, only for it to run through the ink at a ridiculous speed (I actually think it deliberately wasted the ink, as the pad inside is sodden with ink while it flashes at me this very moment telling me that after printing 40 pages, it's out of every colour of ink). For context, only about 5% of the pages I printed needed colour ink, though I appreciate that sometimes black may also require colour ink).

In any case, I'm disgusted with how little use I got from this printer before it demanded that I drop another £60 on a full set of ink. Needless to say I absolutely won't be doing that, and will instead take my £60 and go to the library to print the pages I need off. Another 40 pages there at 5p a page will cost me £2. An absolute bargain in my eyes.

And before you think to yourself "ah but I can buy cheaper non Epson brand ink". Think again. Epson have you over a barrel and have made it so none of their printers now accept 3rd party cartridges. So yeah. Capitalism is disgusting.

Possibly the worst customer service in the country. It's as if they're at war with their customers, and the war strategy of choice is attrition. They misdirect, misinform, and repeat information over a matter of weeks, leading to months. It is so bad I have chosen to go without a printer than deal with them anymore. And I am house bound, make of that what you will. Making a complaint is pointless as you are subjected to similar tactics. I am utterly dumbfounded how if I went to similar technology companies the matter would have been dealt with in less than an hour there conduct is even viable.

Says the drivers are unavailable. Customer support is useless

I bought an ET18100. This was my 5th Epson printer. I didn't unbox it until the warranty had expired, for various reasons. I went through the set up procedure and it printed its first and only print, a test print. It won't turn on or off, and warning lights stay on.
I have emailed 12 times to customer services and had 3 phone call conversations as well. My issue has been that a brand new printer costing £574 should work when new, whether out of warranty or not.
The Epson customer services department's manager won't speak to me, but says there's nothing can be done except I pay £360 more to Epson to get it fixed. The printer has a facility to show how many prints it has done.
Notwithstanding the warranty issue, their attitude sucks. If I get it to work via a local agency, I think I probably will sell it and buy a Canon printer. I'm indescribably disappointed with Epson, after championing them for so long. Obviously I'm not alone, judging by the comments on Trustpilot. No suport just got the printer & can't even register it, I will be reterning it. I have been on epson site the 30/01/2025 & 31st A complet waste ofg time.

I’m hesitant to rate the Epson 2845 DWF printer with just one star, but after two years of frustration, it's testing my patience. When I send a print command, it shows as if it's printed, but nothing actually happens. The connection process takes far too long and often ends in failure. I’m truly disappointed, and I can't rely on this product for urgent printing needs.

I have a Epson ET-2850 less than a year old and the ink tanks cant be filled. Technical support non existent, telephone number doesnt work . i wish i had read these reviews and avoided Epson.

The printer (ET 8550) has faults regularly, works 50% of the time if I'm lucky. Support is awful, they've been stringing me along for 3 weeks now. I raised a complaint, they replied to say they're dealing with it. 10 days later, nothing. Big mistake getting an Epson printer. They're disorganised and do not do what they say they'll do.

Placed order on 28th November 2024 for Ecotank printer at Black Friday pricing. Despite UPS showing the printer was in a van for delivery a couple of weeks later, but then showed as back at depot. Contacted UPS who said they'd no idea where it was. Reached out to Epson via Facebook messenger, as only way to contact them, on 11th December to ask them to chase UPS to be told "Unfortunately we can't contact UPS." (This policy is against UK law as it's the supplier's responsibility to deal with the courier, not the purchaser.)
LONG story short, at Christmas received a phone call from Jean at Epson who said they can't simply send out a new printer and I'd get a refund - thus losing the advantage of Black Friday deal.
I'm writing this on 23rd January when the refund eventually arrived after numerous follow up messages on FB and further promises the refund was on its way.
So, no printer, no Black Friday discount and now too late for £50 cash back which was also offered when I made my purchase.
Horribly stressful experience, where Epson had my £250 for nearly two months. I seriously wondered at some points if this was actually a scammer website.
