Great club, has recently had a refurbishment, all new kit, the glute section is amazing, also 3 squat racks and strength equipment that would suit the most experienced people, the functional training area has plenty of kit including two heavy boxing bags, the team at this club really make it a great place to be, they love helping people and making sure you are getting the most out of your workouts.

I love this place from Lee the manager who does boxing, Eziekiel who does Muay Thai pad work and the private trainers they have Naz and Zulu they are all great and very helpful. Facilities are great for what I want and has a punch bag in the mat area. Changing rooms are clean and showers are all working well with hot water. I train here roughly 5 times a week and get great friendly advise from the staff they are all genuinely very helpful and always happy which helps and welcoming to everyone. Have been a member of this gym for over three years now. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. They are also very professional and knowledgeable, giving lots of helpful tips. The yoga classes are simply the best I've ever been to, led by the most amazing teacher. The equipment and facilities are also good but it is the staff who make all the difference.

Been going to this gym for a couple of years now and it's been great. Go on my lunch break and it can be busy but it's a good enough size to cope with that. Good amount of benches/ equipment in general. Dathan and the team are great and very welcoming, highly recommend!

Energie Old Street is a well appointed gym a quick stroll from Old Street Station and within easy reach of Shoreditch, Farringdon, The City and Angel.

One thing that sets Energie Old St apart from other chain Gyms, is how fastidiously clean everything is. Kudos to Dathan, the Operations Manager for always having a smile on his face and making sure everything from the cleanliness in the changing rooms to the hot showers to all the equipment and the extra facilities are all available and working so you can just enjoy your workout. Join this Gym - you wont go wrong!

Great place, great people!

Been with the gym for quite a few years. Not the biggest, but has everything needed. Always clean, equipment is working, and if broken get fixed swiftly.

But most important. People working there is very friendly, from managers of the gym to PTs, regardless how that changes. I think that affects the general feel of the place, and the people coming there for their workout. Everyone feels at home and are very friendly.

I love going to Energie Fitness - Old Street. The staff are super helpful, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Since Dathan took over managing the gym my experiences have improved hugely. I would recommend anyone to attend the regular classes, which are varied and positively challenging. I am a very happy customer.

Helpful staff, clean facility

If you are thinking of joining Energie Fitness Old St in January 2024 read this review:

I was a member at Energie Fitness Old St but recently switched to Chelmsford Energie Fitness.

When I switched gyms I gave them notice I was cancelling at Old st mid way through the month. Although they state there is a 30 day cancellation period, this starts from the beginning of the following months membership. Therefore if you give notice 1 day after the start of a new months membership it essentially takes two months to cancel.

Aside from this they have also charged me twice in my final month! This does not seem like ethical business practice to charge a customer twice in the month they are leaving.

Therefore if you are signing up in January and you are not sure if you will stick with your New Year’s resolution, it maybe worth considering other gyms that will not make it so hard to cancel (or overcharge you when you do cancel).

Best gym in Old Street. Have been a user for nearly 5 years now; value for money, always friendly staff, great facilities, and a varied selection of equipment. The membership options also allow for the use of a branch if there's one local to home. Highly recommended!

I've been going to this gym for over a year and I'm very happy with it. The cost is low and the equipment might not be the newest, but it's all functional and safe. It it never overly crowded and is consistently just a nice place to work out. Their cancellation policies are fair and non-predatory (seemingly rare for gyms). Staff is excellent. I would continue going here if I still lived in the area.
