Great adventure in upper Egypt!
Our itinerary was packed full of adventures. Mahmoud Hassan, our guide was exceptionally good at motivating us for the next adventure. He was very professional and knowledgeable about every aspect of our journey. We were kept well informed of our itinerary and times for our tours. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of Luxor and its enchanting temples. My tour came alive with the assistance of my Tour Guide- Ghada Kamel who is an experienced Egyptologist who painstakingly took me to West Bank to see the valley of the Kings where I wandered through the stunning tombs of great pharaohs , also visited the Colossi of Memnon and Queen Hatshepsut’s temple.
She took me to the East Bank of Luxor to see the mesmerizing temple of Karnak where she uncovered in great details the history of past dynasties, kings and queens of Egypt.
My entry into Luxor is like going through the pages of history today. It is captivating, mesmerizing and stunning all rolled together and brought alive by the masterful handling of the history of Luxor, pharaohs, queens and nobles by my aforesaid Tour Guide.
I remain infinitely obliged to my said guide for her experience, expertise and concern.
I also thank the Driver Mr Taya who drove us to all the sites and waited patiently for us.
I can’t wait to return to Luxor with my family.

Egypt holidays - memorable and entertaining
We were welcomed by Abdul to Cairo who was an outstanding tour guide on our first night in the city. He had many interesting facts to share, kept us feeling safe and entertained. Next morning we met Reham, our tour guide for the day. It was an excellent experience. We visited the pyramids and the museum with Reham whose knowledge of the artifacts, history and area made our day! Absolute expert! We will cherish all the brilliant memories and great pictures too. Luxor with Marian Azer
We had a wonderful experience exploring Luxor with our tour guide Marian Azer. She was very knowledgeable and communicated clearly throughout the tour. Given the intense heat, she was mindful of our comfort and kept the tour moving at a good pace, while still ensuring we had the opportunity to see and appreciate the main sights.

Luxor Tour
We had the pleasure of having Samar Nagi as our tour guide for the last three days in Luxor, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We visited some of the most incredible sites in ancient Egypt, including Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple. Samar’s knowledge of ancient Egyptian history is exceptional. She brought each site to life with fascinating stories and details that we would have completely missed on our own.
What really stood out was Samar’s passion for Egypt and her ability to explain complex history in a way that was interesting and easy to understand. She was also friendly, patient and extremely helpful throughout our three days.

We would like to share our experiences with Egypt tours portal. We spent an amazing 8 days under the guidance of Ahmed Elgohary and Hassan Ali touring the highlights of- the pyramids of Giza, the gem museum, Luxor, the valley of the kings, Aswan including Abu Simbel. Most meals and all entrance fees were included on this trip. From the moment we landed in Cairo until our takeoff to Jordan these two guides helped us in every way possible. Meeting us at the airport, communicating with us frequently on where to meet, who to look for and what time to meet. They fulfilled all needs that we had. From stopping at desired shopping areas, to picking up treats at a variety store and always providing us with fresh cold water. Both guides also were exceptional in ensuring that my dietary needs of gluten-free, were always a top priority when it came to meal time. The food was exceptional, lots of variety and always fresh. The accommodations were definitely five star according to Canadian standards. Very luxurious, clean, and modern. These two guides had exceptional knowledge on the history, facts of ancient times. They were always able to answer our multiple questions and frequently had to repeat themselves. Both guides also were very quick to support us in taking multiple pictures at each of the highlighted sites. We would also like to comment on Nadeen who helped us organize this trip online for over two months of constant questions and guidance from her. Egypt portal tours is an excellent company to book with. We also strongly recommend Ahmed and Hassan to be your tour guide as they were exceptional!

Detailed 9 day tour through Egypt
We purchased a 9 day tour. Our first day we were picked up at the airport and guided through the tourist visa purchase. We spent the rest of the day recovering and exploring the Mall of Egypt on our own.
Abanoub Raafat was our tour guide for days 2 and 3 and we explored a lot of the monuments in Cairo and Giza along with the GEM. He definitely took the best pictures and he knew all the best spots for quality pictures. He was thoughtful and asked if I needed a pharmacy for my runny nose.
Walid Alsamman was our tour guide on days 4 through 8 while we were on the princess nile cruise. He is the best tour guide I've ever had anywhere. He was incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about Egyptian history and seemed more than happy to answer any and all questions we had. He really helped us navigate and learn, which is exactly what i hope for in a guide. He exceeded expectations though and swam with us in the Nile. I couldn't be more grateful for all the hard work he did and how thoughtful he was. You have to request Walid as your guide if you get the chance! He is genuinely an amazing human being.
Don't be afraid to leave the boat in the evening when it stays in one port overnight. It was fun exploring off the boat. The boat staff was incredibly kind and responsive. They even threw me a birthday party on the evening of my birthday that was over the top and made me feel extremely special. It really meant a lot to me. Thank you so much!
Mohamed Osman was our guide on day 9 and he was passionate and knowledgeable and took us to a few different placesand made our last day pleasant and entertaining. Overall, he was a very good guide covering the monuments and national museum of Egyptian civilization.
This was an absolutely incredible experience overall and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I felt completely safe and everything was taken care of the entire time. Thank you Egypt portals for helping to make my dream of exploring Egypt a reality! It was perfect.

Bakr was a great tour guide
Bakr was a great tour guide. They picked us up from our hotel every morning, and we were able to see many major locations around Cairo. Bakr was extremely knowledgeable about every location and did a great job explaining the significance and history of each artifact and landmark.
He was also great at taking pictures for us throughout the trip, which was a great addition as we are not the best at it.
One of the highlights of the experience was definitely the food. For lunch each day, we got to try local cuisine, and he would always recommend foods to try at each spot. Every meal was excellent.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Bakr to anyone visiting Cairo.

Tour por el Nilo
Voy a contar nuestra experiencia con el tour.
Bassam nuestro guía asignado estuvo muy atento en todo momento de nuestra llegada. Hizo un seguimiento y nos recibió en la estación.
Hicimos una visita muy interesante a la presa y después al templo de Philae. Todo muy bien.
La parte negativa del día fue la visita a una perfumería que no estaba en el itinerario contratado. Antes de ir a estos sitios con la única finalidad de vender a los turistas, se nos debería preguntar por si estamos interesados o no.
Ya en el barco todo el personal a bordo muy atentos. Las bebidas a bordo caras y la comida no estaba mal. Muy limpio.
Los siguientes días seguimos visitando todos los templos contratados con el guía Bassam. Madrugones muy grandes que creo que la visita del templo de Edfú se podría hacer más tarde porque la hacemos de noche que no se ve casi nada y sólo una hora. Así que todo muy rápido.
El guía demuestra un grandísimo conocimiento de todo lo relacionado con el antiguo Egipto. Lo explica de forma clara y resuelve todas nuestras dudas.
El desplazamiento en las furgonetas con aire acondicionado muy bien. Cómodas y bastante nuevas.
Contratamos un tour a parte para visitar el templo de Luxor que por 90 euros, era un pelín caro. Yo creo que hay que meterlo con el recorrido del tour porque sí que da tiempo a todo.
En general todo muy bien. Recomendable 100x100 y en especial Bassam que le califico como guía, de crack.

Waleed Alsamman was a great tour guide! He provided us with tons of education and information. He answered all of our questions anytime we asked. He made sure we stayed safe and provided us with food and drinks. When we needed more time at some of the sites he allowed us to stay longer with no issues. He assisted in taking great pictures of us as well. Thank you making this trip one to remember!!

Ahmed Elgohary, our tour guide made the experience exceptional for us. He was knowledgeable, kind and personable. His enthusiasm was contagious and he went out of his way to make everything most convenient for us! We were treated with great respect and care. The tours and hotels were terrific. Shorouk was extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. We provided her with an itinerary for an 2 day 1 night trip to Luxor from Hurghada. She created a wonderful trip with extras we hadn’t thought of, with every part of the trip itemised and context added. At no point did we feel pressured into booking.
