Eclipse Travel arranged everything for a perfect, enjoyable experience in Spain. We were met at the airport and transported to each destination. Our hotels were great and the tour guides were excellent. We especially loved our total eclipse experience in Manjiron. There were knowledgeable astronomers who brought solar telescopes for the eclipse day and regular space telescopes for evening observations. We were provided with eclipse glasses for safe eclipse viewing. We were treated graciously at every destination. Overall it was an exceptional, premium-quality trip. We hope to take another trip with Eclipse Travel in the future.

With one exception, the boarding process, the cruise was fabulous. The boarding process needs serious organization. The staff were gracious, friendly and helpful. The excursions were interesting but occasionally too long and tiring with little free time to enjoy the beauty of the location. Also, being on the Mediterranean with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, We would have loved to had more beach time excursions to just relax and enjoy. I was a little disappointed there were no formal pictures as most cruises do. Overall, we were very pleased.

We booked a Kimberley Cruise. Everything went well with the booking. They got us a good price. Then we loved the Cruise.

Viewing the total eclipse of the sun from an optimal site was exactly as advertised. The weather was clear, the site was ideal, even the accommodations and food were great. The astronomer was fantastic, and remained with us to view the Persiod meteors later that night. Our tour guide was excellent and the bus driver went above and beyond expectations every day. The remainder of the tour was also interesting and well managed. Touring Sagrada Familia in Barcelona was another highlight. The pacing of the tour was reasonable.

I went on an eclipse tour in Madrid in August, which included side trips to Toledo, Segovia and Avila. The tour was well organised - the driver I had for the side trips was exceptional and the tour guides were good. The venue for the total eclipse was very nice and the total eclipse programme was well planned. Eclipse Travel were very good at responding to queries and adjustments, as were the local company they used in Madrid. The only downside was that the trip was very expensive!

Tim and his team helped us curate the perfect family holiday. I cannot recommend the Eclipse Travel team highly enough.

We are a family of five with three children aged 12, 14 and 16. Tim took the time to understand what each of us wanted from the holiday and built an itinerary that worked brilliantly for the whole family.

We travelled through Tortuguero, Pacuare, Arenal, Monteverde and Manuel Antonio, staying in spectacular places and experiencing everything from rafting and canyoning to volcano hikes, wildlife, cloud forests and the Pacific coast.

It was a complicated trip involving road, boat and raft transfers, multiple hotels and a packed programme of activities, yet everything worked beautifully. The route was extremely well thought through, every destination felt different, and the balance between adventure, wildlife and downtime was spot on.

A particular highlight was arriving at Pacuare Lodge by raft, which Tim worked hard to incorporate into our itinerary. Even when severe weather and flooding later forced a change to our departure arrangements, everything was handled calmly and smoothly.

Costa Rica was one of the best family holidays we have ever had. We came home with incredible memories and the feeling that we had truly experienced the country rather than simply visited it.

Our experience with Eclipse Travel was thoroughly positive. Dan, our Sydney based agent really took our group’s interests and needs into the planning of the trip. We had already booked a 7 day trip to The Galapagos and he built our itinerary around that portion. He included many activities based on our interests which were fantastic.
Our trip began in Lima and ended in Quito and included a trip to Macchu Picchu, Cuzco, Quito, the Amazon jungle, several volcanoes and to a haciendo outside of Quito following our week in The Galapagos. Highlights included hiking up Cotopaxi, visiting Macchu Picchu at dawn, leaving the pitch black rainforest at 4 am in a canoe in the pouring rain, visiting the Middle of the World at the equator, swimming with numerous animals in The Galapagos, seeing condors in the wild, and taking a cooking class and needlepoint class taught by locals at Hacienda Zuleta.
Our guides were very good and knowledgeable; they all spoke English well. The accommodation chosen was very good, particularly Zuleta the last place we stayed.
Apart from some traffic issues which had nothing to do with our guides, the trip was very successful and enjoyed by our group (4 couples).

Great individual tours in East Africa and Madagascar that linked together well for an excellent experience. Good communication at all stages of the booking and preparation processes.

Eclipse Travel curated a well-organised tour across three countries in southern africa. The local agents provided seamless connections throughout. All we had to do was turn up and enjoy the animals - and pay, of course.

All the things booked by Eclipse were excellent including all the accommodation and private guided tours, airport transfers, boat cruise in the Galapagos and all the various flights and associated fees when visiting certain places. It made our holiday much more enjoyable and stress free. The communication from the people we dealt with at Eclipse was excellent.
I highly recommend Eclipse for anyone planning a holiday especially a complicated one visiting multiple destinations with numerous experiences.

The Trip to Sth Africa, Victoria Falls and Botswana was wonderfu. Blak organised the itinerary so that we had our experiences broken up - safari then Capetown for a city experience then Victoria Falls and then Chobe safari. This gave us change and new experiences as we went. The lodges where we stayed and the tour leaders everywhere were excellent.

The Eclipse Travel team ensured everything ran smoothly - flights, accommodation and tours. This meant we could focus on enjoying the wildlife, landscapes and cultures of the countries we visited. Would highly recommend Eclipse Travel for any of your African adventures. The Masai Mara and Serengeti should be on your bucket list.

The itinerary could not have been better. We saw and did everything as expected, and so much MORE. From airport pick-up to drop-off we travelled the whole time with the same driver (Jude) in a comfortable, well-maintained 4WD vehicle. The accommodation and meals (all included) were above expectations. Jude was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful (and would stop at request for photo opportunities) and we always felt safe. The Chimpanzee and Gorilla tracking were successful (and not as difficult as expected), we walked with Rhinos, Giraffes and Zebras. I would rate the trip 5 stars *****. The only reason I have rated 4 stars for Eclipse is that one of my interactions with an Eclipse Travel Consultant was less than ideal, however, my other communications and the paperwork side of everything was top-notch. I would 100% recommend Eclipse Travel.

Quote was way too expensive, no travel consultant can give an estimate on a 6 week vacation before they have begun the quoting process and then when the itinerary is completed be with in a few hundred dollars. Also itinerary should be price itemised. I was quoted $25.000 per person. The reality is I did the same itinerary I requested independently and it cost total $ 25.000 to $28.000. For both of us combined. Almost half your quote. Also my cost was fully inclusive. All meals, all sightseeing, all accommodation, all flights, all spending money, including our shopping.
Why was your quote so high?
The lodge in Iquitos was very expensive but worst of all the guide was on his phone ( not talking on phone but going through social media or similar) while we were looking for wildlife. Admittedly he was good at spotting wildlife but I believe we would have seen many more if he was paying attention all the time. Also the meals were very bland and many dishes were repeated at almost every meal.
I independently booked Manu rainforest as a second jungle adventure for 7 nights / 8 days. it was considerably cheaper, the food was amazing, the guide was very knowledgeable and attentive, talked about the fauna and wildlife. We did many more hikes, jungle cruises and canoeing than Iquitos. The lodge was not as upmarket as Iquitos but that was what was expected in the Amazon jungle.

Our southern African trip (South Africa, Zimbabwe & Botswana) was fantastic. We are experienced travellers and this is the first time we have ever used a travel company to plan and book our trip. We are so glad we did. After discussing with us our interests, the itinerary they suggested was excellent, offering a variety of iconic African experiences. The booking process was smooth and efficient, and the pre-trip information provided was comprehensive and informative. Organisationally, everything went without a hitch, with all accommodation, transfers, tours, and pickups in place. It was a pleasure to have all of this done for us in advance so we could just concentrate on enjoying the experience.
